I'm glad I got that out of the way.

So, today I finished the tail by supporting the middle of it with a piece of aluminum. Before that, if I sat toward the back of it, I would hear it crack which never sounds good. I also trimmed the under tail for the remote reservoir of the rear shock. On top of that, I painted the upper fairing. Its not all that impressive but it will get the job done. I will have pictures up later.

On a side note, I realized I had a Word Press blog from last year. I got an email that someone had commented on one of the posts. It was crazy, when I visited the site, I had 10 posts and each one had no less then 4 comments. So thats why I cannot wait until everyone out there starts to comment here.

I haven't posted there in over a year, but I will give you a link to it. Cleaned the carb slides because one was a little sticky. And more nothing. There are a few more options that I can do, but after that I may be SOL.

One thing that has me worried is that there were metal shavings where the plugs are. I don't know how they got there, but I am hoping they never got into the cylinders.

Just a Small Update

I am going to link up the FZR tear down album here. I figured if I had one more thing on here that moved people will like it. Also, I have a updated picute of the R1 fairings. It look a whole lot better and more legit.

<img src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhEpaMnDuRxwuC0FegY60A-8_EAms6Rqu_3_C15r_fVfoAKqPVuCh5b6Q7mLMwhvLpO-oeUAaINA-Pp6cdHzSuLRgxjqXFiWgqmMQvm1mdJGgrZaKSWOKDcalj9Ica2CDODH7O0p8N-lAK6/s400/IMdAG0067.jpg" I have a few pics of what they will look like on the bike if I can get them to fit. So far its not looking good as the upper fairing is in the way of everything. I'll make it work though. Also, with the upgrade to Dyna coils, the bike doesn't want to start anymore. Ive tested each spark plug and each is giving off a nice fat blue spark. Ive narrowed it down to the carbs which sucks because I hate doing carb work. I'll be working on it tomorrow and will get it running.

In other news, I have found a ligit reason to use Twitter. All I wanted was a program on my phone that would just let me update and I found Twobile. Its great if anyone has Windows Mobile. My R1 fairings are coming in on Friday and when they do, the FZR will be done besides for tuning and making sure everything is on and tight. As of now, it wont start probably for a few reasons. One, its DAMN cold out. Two, a screwy air-fuel mixture or Three, the Dyna ignition coils are screwed up. I doubt its three because I have checked for spark in every cylinder. Ill figure it out.

Also, I will be updating my previous posts with a little back story on those pictures. I will also link up my FZR videos too. So keep patient, its going to get very exciting!

My First Track Day!

1996 Yamaha FZR600

This is my very first bike.
