The reason that I haven't uploaded a podcast yet is because I am still looking at content for it. Sorry for any inconvenience and this is why I am not going to release any dates as to if and when a podcast would be coming out as this leads to bad things.

I know that I havn't really been in contact with you but due to computer problems and the need to buy a microphone but with no money to do so, I have not been able to update anything. However, soon is a reality and I may find time to buy a microphone today though it probably is unlikely. So I'm ready to go!

That's right! The new and improved G-POD Podcast is coming out very soon in the near future. As soon as I get a microphone, then I am ready to go. Episode #1 should be recorded and out for your listening pleasure in about 3 weeks maximum. Currently, I am having problems with gremlins in the wires but will be up and running!

Tuesday Morning

Hey there to anybody who is following my blog. This morning I fell ill. I woke up at 4am and my stomach felt terrible. I got back to sleep after about half an hour of listening to the Z100 phone taps podcasts. I'm not saying that they are boring! I was just very tired and had listened to all the ones that were on my ipod. Oh well!

So anyway, it has already been a pretty eventful day and it hasn't even quite started yet. I know that it's midday here in England but I've just woken up (School summer holidays). But don't worry I only have 2 weeks left of this. I will be writing in the evening then.

So my last two posts here have been mainly about my podcast that doesn't yet exist. I seem to be having a bit of trouble with finding a host for my rss who will do it for free. No-one seems to do this but I definitely think that somebody should. Podcasters don't get paid (unless they are getting donations from paypal) so I think that the services should be free. So far I have got free software and free lessons on how to make podcasts (Check out the 'Sex and Podcasting' podcast for the 'Podcasting 101' series of episodes).

I did find a host who was giving loads of webspace for free (which is rare because it's usually a trial period) but I forgot the name of the website (typical). So if anybody has some info then please do leave a comment or e-mail me (g-pod@hotmail.co.uk). However, e-mail would be easier because then readers could also see what you have written. I have found some webspace to use (www.archive.org) but they have to check the content before they let you post it but they do recommend using a creative commons license. This I don't have a problem with because when I first accidentally stumbled across the site (www.creativecommons.org) I became amazed because it meant that p2p file sharing could be made legal for some songs which is fantastic. It's just the waiting for some-one to check my file before they put it up on the site that's annoying.

Sorry about that, I had an outburst of typing and it probably doesn't make much sense. Never mind! I will do another post later on today or tomorrow. Ciao for now!!!

Info about the blog...

Sorry about the random blog (hence the name randomer). I just thought that I might as well introduce myself while I am here to anyone happening to come across:

My name is randomer, I will be using this blog to promote a podcast which might be coming out soon. Of course this all depends on what happens and whether I have to pay for things. My podcast is from the north-east (of England, UK) but is for any listeners accross the world. I have been inspired by other podcasters such as:

Adam Curry (Podfinder and The Daily Source code)
Dawn and Drew (The Dawn and Drew Show)
John and Rob (Top of the Pods)
Mark (Tartan Podcast)
Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht (Diggnation)

Check them out because I for one find their podcasts very enjoyable.

Anway, the content of my show is split into pretty much 6 parts:

The introduction (An intro to the show)
The Newcastle News (One topic about extroadinary events that are fun for all listeners)
The episode's topic (and what the next episode's topic is going to be so you can give me your thoughts so I can read them out.)
The eBay auctioned items (Odd or one of a kind interesting current auctions.)
Next Time (What's happening in the next episode)
The Sign Out (An exit for the show including e-mail and extra news about the show as well as other e-mails and audio comments.)

Well that's about it for now so thanks and keep looking back at my blog if you can. Maybe even bookmark the site.
