Namaskara, Neene Neene starring Dhyan and Aishwarya Nag in lead roles, supported by AnanthNag and others is slated for release on June 6th. Cool thing about the movie is that its being simultaneously launched across India, Australia and USA isn't that a pretty cool thing?

This is the first time a Kannada movie is being launched simultaneously in these two foreign countries. Lauch is being organised by Chitraloka.com.

Good news for all Kannada movie fans outside Karnataka, Gaalipata is going to be launched at Chennai (Casino), Hyderabad (Imax) and Mumbai (Liberty, Aurora and PVR) simultaneously with the release in Karnataka...Don't forget to spread the word to your friends and relatives !

Gaalipata is the first Kannada movie to be shot using a Super 35 mm lens. Most of the Indian movies are shot using 70 mm lens. Click here to know

If the rumour mills are to be believed, the central character in the Gaalipata movie are not the Heroes or the Heroines? It is a Wild Pig (ಕಾಡು ಹಂದಿ )!

Gaalipata has been shot at the locations like Theerthahalli, Kodachadri Hills, Sakleshpur and Bangalore all in Karnataka.

Gaalipata is slated for late December release just like Mungaru Male (was released on the last week of 2007)

The budget of the Gaalipata is reported to be around a whopping Rs 65 million

Audio Rights of Gaalipata were sold for 70 lakhs!
Ganesh has been reportedy paid 70 lakhs for Gaalipata.

Yograj Bhat too has been paid the highest renumeration in Kannada Film industry at 65 lakhs for Direction/Story/Screenplay/Dialogues of Gaalipata with a further bonus of 35 lakhs, should the film cross Rs 8 crore mark

During the Audio release of the movie, guests were given the album CD enclosed in a Kite, now thats what I call as passion! !

Cameraman Ratnavelu's earlier venture in Kannada, the movie Cyanide was selected for London Film Festival! !
