To Remember:
This tutorial is only for Factory Unlocked Essential Phone. Please don’t try this on any other variants of the phone.
Make sure you backup all your data in your phone before proceeding.
You need to have an unlocked bootloader.
Complete Step-By-Step Instructions:
Step 1 –Download Oreo Beta ) for Essential Phone to your computer and extract the zip file.
Step 2 – Please make sure Fastboot is configured and properly installed on your computer. How? See here: How to Set Up ADB and Fastboot with Android SDK.

Step 2 –Download ADB / Fastboot – Android SDK Platform Tools separate package and install on your computer. Download from the following links depending on your OS and extract it anywhere in your computer.
Windows: Download platform-tools-latest-windows.zip
MacOS: Download platform-tools-latest-darwin.zip
Linux: Download platform-tools-latest-linux.zip
Step 3 – Switch OFF your phone. Now go to Fastboot Mode. How? Press and hold the Volume Down + Power buttons together. The phone should now boot into Fastboot / Bootloader mode.
Step 4 – Make sure you have your USB Drivers installed on your computer.
Step 5 – From the extracted package that you downloaded in Step 1, run flashall.bat for Windows or flashall.sh for Mac.
Step 6 – After the installation is completed, your phone will restart. After you see the home screen, unplug your phone from the computer.
That’s it! Your Essential Phone has now been updated to Android 8.0 build OPM1.170911.130 firmware update. Go to Settings > About phone to verify.

How to save WhatsApp Status photos and videos on your smartphone [Android Guide]

Back in February this year, Facebook owned WhatsApp rolled out a new feature called ‘Status‘ which is essentially a clone of Snapchat Story. With the new Status feature, users can share photos and videos with their WhatsApp friends which would disappear automatically after 24 hours. This is actually useful if you are somewhere like a music concert and you want to share your experience with your friends.

The WhatsApp Status, like WhatsApp chats, is secured with end-to-end encryption which means only the sender and receiver can see the information. Having said that, unlike the photos, videos and other documents shared with friends in a personal or a group chat, the photos and videos shared in WhatsApp Status cannot be saved on your smartphone. Of course, you can always take a snapshot of a photo or record the video using screen recorder. But, chances are you will loose out on quality.

The reason for saving photos and videos shared in your friend’s Status can be different for all. If it’s something cool, funny or informative, you might want to share it further with your friends and family. How to save WhatsApp Status photos and videos on your smartphone
Step 1: First of all, you will need a file manager app. We used the one named ‘File Manager (File transfer)’ as it was already on our smartphone. You can download it from here.

Step 2: Now open the File Manager app and tap on hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) located at the top-left corner of the screen and then tap on ‘Settings‘.

Step 3: Under the Settings menu, you will see an option saying ‘Show Hidden Files‘. If it’s not selected already, tap on the check box right next to it and you will see a blue-colored tick mark inside the box.

Step 4: Now go back to the main screen of the File Manager and tap on ‘Device‘. You will now see all all the folders that are created by different apps and games on your smartphone. Keep scrolling down and then tap on the folder named ‘WhatsApp‘.

Under the WhatsApp folder, go to Media > .Statuses. The .Statuses folder is a hidden folder which generally isn’t visible. A reason why we asked you to perform Steps 2 and 3.

Well, it’s this .Statuses folder under which you will find all the WhatsApp Status photos and videos of your friends.

However, do keep in mind that only those photos and videos will appear in this folder that you have already viewed from within WhatsApp. And, they will also disappear from this folder automatically after 24 hours of being posted.

To save WhatsApp Status photo or video on your smartphone, you simply have to select any photo or video, tap on ‘Copy‘, and then paste it in folder that’s created in a different location, and voila, you will have it on your smartphone even after 24 hours from when they were posted by your friend.

How to lock apps on Xiaomi Redmi Y1 [Guide]

Earlier this month, Xiaomi launched the Redmi Y1 in India – its first selfie-centric smartphone in the country that comes with decent hardware at an affordable price. The Redmi Y1 also runs MIUI 9 out of the box which is the latest version of MIUI. A couple of days ago, we showed how to take screenshot on Redmi Y1 for those who were new to Android. Now today, we show you how to lock apps on Xiaomi Redmi Y1 so that no one else other than you can have unauthorized access to the apps (and in turn your data) installed on your smartphone.

How to lock apps on Xiaomi Redmi Y1

Step 1: Go to Settings > App lock menu and then select the apps that you want to lock on Xiaomi Redmi Y1.

After you have selected the apps you want to lock, tap on the ‘Set password‘ button located at the bottom.
Step 2: Now add a pattern that would be used to unlock the apps that you have locked on Xiaomi Redmi Y1. You will be asked to re-draw the pattern to confirm it, and, after you re-drawn it, just tap on ‘Next‘.

Step 3: After you have added the lock pattern, you will be asked to sign in to your Mi Account if you haven’t already so that if you forget the lock pattern, you will be able to reset it. If you don’t, you will have to factory reset the entire phone if you forget the pattern.

If you have a Mi Account, you can tap on ‘Sign in & add‘, and, if you don’t, or, if you don’t want to sign in to your Mi Account, you can tap on ‘Not now‘. Once you perform either of these actions, you will be required to verify your fingerprint to turn on fingerprint unlock. To do so, simply place your registered finger on the fingerprint scanner at the back of the Redmi Y1.
Step 4: Once you have verified your fingerprint, you will be presented with a list of apps that are locked and the ones that aren’t. You can simply lock or unlock an app by tapping on the toggle button provided next to it.

However, there’s one setting that you should change. When you are presented with the list of apps that are locked and unlocked, you will also see a gear icon at the top-right corner of the screen. Just tap on it and then tap on Lock settings. After that, select ‘When device is locked or after exiting app‘ in the Lock settings sub-menu if it isn’t already selected. If you don’t select this option, then once you unlock the app and exit it, it will remain unlocked, and when you open it again, the security pattern won’t appear, which is not recommended.

That said, once you lock apps on Xiaomi Redmi Y1, and open it, a screen like the one shown above will appear. You can either unlock the app by entering the security pattern, or, you can simply place your registered fingerprint on the fingerprint scanner to unlock the app.

San Francisco, Nov 22 Android smartphones have reportedly been gathering users' location data and sending it to Google even when the location services were turned off and there was no SIM card in the device.
"Even if you take all of those precautions, phones running Android software gather data about your location and send it back to Google when they're connected to the internet," Quartz reported late on Tuesday.
The tech giant has reportedly confirmed the practice of gathering location data.
"In January this year, we began looking into using Cell ID codes as an additional signal to further improve the speed and performance of message delivery," a Google spokesperson was quoted as saying.
Android phones have been collecting the addresses of nearby mobile towers -- even when location services are disabled -- and sending that data back to Google.
This makes search engine giant and the unit of Alphabet behind Android to have access to huge amount of data that invades their privacy.
Users cannot opt out of this even when their devices are factory reset.
In October, several Google Home Mini devices reportedly malfunctioned and recorded audio in the background in the owners' homes, instead of only waking up when a specific trigger word was used.
Meanwhile, Google's privacy policy does include the following section on "location information" (below) which states that users of "Google services" may have their location data collected, including mobile tower data

Users can now claim instant interest-free short-term credit for regular transactions like buying movie tickets, paying bills, booking flights and more, that too without documentation or physical onboarding.

Paytm has partnered with ICICI Bank for the new product called 'Paytm-ICICI Bank Postpaid'.
All you need to know about the credit scheme

A customer's 'credit-worthiness' will be assessed in real-time, based on their financial/digital behavior, purchase patterns and frequency of transactions. For this, ICICI will use Big Data.
Based on their rating, a customer might be offered credit of Rs. 3,000-10,000. They can repay in up to 45 days.

For now, only select ICICI customers can avail it. It will soon be extended to non-ICICI customers.

Fact

A bill will be generated for customers on the first day of the month after they have availed the credit. They will have to repay by the 15th. Based on repayment patterns, a customer's credit limit might be expanded to Rs. 20,000.

How to instantly speed up ANY phone!

Let's just face it, okay people? There is no such thing as a phone which does not slow down over time. All phones tend to bog down with usage, some wearing out faster than others. But irrespective of whether you have a premium flagship phone or an outdated mid-range device, here are a few simple steps by which you can see noticeable speed improvements.

#1. Reduce system animation scale
This might not come as a surprise to many, in 2017. Most of the android users have become tech-savvy enough to realize the potential that the developer options possesses. If you are still in the dark about it, here is what you do:
Go into Settings->about device and press on the build number 7 times. It will say 'you are now a developer'.

Now go back and enter into the new option above the About phone, which says developer options. Enable the slider on the top right corner to ON position (required on some ROMs)
Scroll down to Animations, you will see 3 animation scales there. Click on the transition animation, window animation, animation durator and select 0.5x for all of them instead of the default 1x. Or better yet, select off.

You have now reduced/disabled the animation scale of your system. You will notice straight away that apps and menus take up less time to actually show up, without the unnecessarily dramatic animations.

#2. Clear out the junk
It is normal for any OS, particularly Android, to hold on to a large chunk of data which may or may not be useful again. It is called a cache, which though is meant for good, often does more harm.

Your system constantly caches and stores stuff which it thinks is important. You can clear it out in many ways, using many "cleaners". One of the easiest ways is to do it from Settings->storage and click on the entry that says 'cache data'. Once it has been cleared, reboot your phone once. You will notice some improvements in the way which it handles itself after this little housekeeping of yours.
#3. Uninstall crap-apps
This is something which I'm positive that everyone has tried to do when their phone feels to have been slowed down. To see exactly which apps are the heaviest, I recommend using a smart file manager such as ES file explorer. I use the pro version myself, and it's flipping awesome.

It has this section called apps which lists all the user apps as well as the system apps. You can directly uninstall apps from there, after sorting them according to the size taken. You can do this using the inbuilt app manager of your phone as well if you prefer it.
#4. Use a custom launcher
One of the luxuries of owning an android phone is that we get to choose which launcher we want to see on our desktop. Unlike iOS, we are not condemned to forever be trapped in a fixed grid of doom! So if you feel that your stock launcher is slow as a slug, simply swap it out for a cleaner one from the play store!

I personally use Nova launcher (PRIME) on all of my smartphone devices. The perfect blend of simplicity and the insane level of customization has gotten me addicted to it. The Google Now launcher is really good too.
The free version of Nova is pretty good on its own. I happened to get mine last year, on a Christmas app sale, for way less than what it is for now in the store. Or you could get the APK like every other android fan out there!
#5. Time to 'clean' the closet
If the above steps don't seem to be doing much to help your slow phone, it might be high time for a clean factory reset. It has the power to fix the most seemingly serious of issues and get your phone back to somewhat of a good shape.

JioPhone review:

The JioPhone is a tempting deal for a mobile phone in 2017, especially with its Rs 1,500 price tag and an array of smartphone features.

The JioPhone can do most of the stuff that you require on a smartphone in 2017 but may not be the best medium to do so.
Rating:
If we have to define the features that make a perfect mobile phone in 2017, then we will have to use the following nouns — large ‘narrow-bezel’ AMOLED display, long-lasting battery, the latest software and a pair of great camera sensors. But spin the clock 10 years back to 2007 and your description of a perfect phone would be something with a T9 keyboard and the ability to at least open the Google search page. Nevertheless, people enjoyed those phones as they never had to worry about the pesky stuff such as software updates and compatibility as well as the concerns of carrying an additional power bank to keep the device juiced up. The newer generation of phones simply doesn't give those thrills.

Earlier this year, Reliance Jio had announced the JioPhone that promised to bring the conveniences of a modern smartphone to the feature phone-crowd for a relatively affordable price. That seemed like a tall claim, especially after Nokia’s reincarnated 3310 with standard feature phone features was out of reach for most of the intended crowd segment. Therefore, we decided to take the JioPhone switch as our daily driver and find out if it can really throw stones at the modern smartphone. After all, how can a ‘hyped’ feature phone possibly prove its worth higher than that of a modern conventional smartphone?

First things first — Reliance Jio doesn’t manufacture the JioPhone. Reliance’s sister brand LYF has a hand behind it. If you are superstitious about Indian-born smartphone brands making quality handsets, then get ready to be proven wrong. The JioPhone sports a great build quality that can match shoulders with certain well-built phones. Though it may not sport a metal-glass combo body, the JioPhone is made out of good quality plastics and a pleasing finish.

It’s very rare to put a phone’s keyboard under the magnifying glass these days as all of them pop-up on a smartphone’s touch display. The JioPhone has a physical keypad from the yesteryear — a T9 keyboard. T9s are not convenient to type long texts and require a lot of key pressing compared to a standard QWERTY layout — the JioPhone also needs a lot of physical input to type a sentence. However, the buttons are backlit, have good tactility and are comfortable to use for simple texting. The dial button also houses a shortcut for video calling whereas the ‘call/end’ button houses the much needed Back button (more on that later). The navigation buttons also house certain shortcuts whereas the ‘OK’ button in the centre can be used either to turn on the flashlight or the 'Hello Jio' — a basic voice assistant app to make calls, send SMS, do Google search and certain other functions. There’s also a shortcut for JioMoney as well as the My Jio app — features that a JioPhone user will need frequently.

Reliance says that the JioPhone uses some sort of a 1GHz dual-core processor accompanied by 512MB RAM and 4GB of storage. Apart from these fundamental details, the JioPhone is one of the very few ‘smart’ feature phones to sport Wi-Fi connectivity and NFC chip apart from Bluetooth v4.1 connectivity. Of course, users can slot in a micro SD card of up to 128GB to store additional data. There’s also a micro USB port, which apart from charging the battery and transferring data, can also help you stream content to a TV through Jio’s JioMediaCable, which is available for purchase separately (to be made available soon).

The JioPhone runs on KaiOS, which is loosely based on the not-so-popular FirefoxOS. The software is key to Jio’s claim of this being a quasi-smart feature phone. Since FirefoxOS was itself inspired by Android, you will get to enjoy a lot of similarities from an Android smartphone. You still have to long-press the star button (*) to unlock the phone but from there afterwards, it’s a different experience on this phone. The menu system resembles an Android phone’s app drawer and once you press the back button, you are taken back to the previous screen, not directly to the home screen similar to the conventional feature phone. The apps take some time to load, which is given considering the weak internals but shouldn’t be of immense worry to any JioPhone user. The software will get updates over the time with new features as well as apps (WhatsApp is planned for the JioPhone in the future).

Since Jio retails the phone and is locking the handset by default to their 4G VoLTE network, all the ‘smart’ features are dependent on Jio’s own ecosystem of apps. However, the phone is not for sale presently and is only handed out to those who pre-ordered the phone during the offer period. You can make video calls through the JioVideoCall app, watch TV through the JioTV app, read news through the JioXpressNews app and so on. The apps may not be as easy to navigate as their ‘touch-enabled’ Android counterparts but after spending some time with the phone, you will be at home with these optimised Jio apps.

By this time, you must have been wondering about the display and its ability to handle all the features that it’s intended to showcase. Well, the 2.4-inch display has a pixel resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, which may sound funny but works well on this tiny display. To be honest, it would be unfair to compare the display with the most affordable smartphone that LYF itself makes. The display doesn’t have wide viewing angles, it renders washed out colours and makes some elements of the UI appear heavily pixelated. But at Rs 1,500, you cannot expect super accurate AMOLED displays with life-like HDR colours. Therefore, the display works for the JioPhone considering its dirt-cheap price tag.

However, what surprised us the most was the audio department. The JioPhone houses one of the loudest speakers we have ever witnessed in a mobile phone, after a long time. You can probably make this the life of your house party without the need of a Bluetooth speaker. It lacks bass but makes up for it in higher and mid frequencies. Even when you are using your headphones with the 3.5mm port (yes, the JioPhone doesn’t rely on wireless audio witchcraft), you will get a well balanced audio output. Kudos to LYF.

The JioPhone also comes with a pair of cameras, at one at each end. The rear unit is a 2MP sensor with no LED flash and no autofocus. The results from this sensor can be safely termed as far below average — washed out colours and inadequate sharpness as well as the contrast is what you’ll be looking at. The front VGA camera should be preferred strictly for video calls and it would be wise to avoid selfies with this baby. Check out some samples from the rear camera.

To keep the JioPhone alive, a 2000mAh battery is on duty. If you keep the mobile data ‘ON’ all day and make a lot of calls as well as stream live TV shows, then you could be expecting on an average a battery life of a day, which is on par with a conventional midrange smartphone and not a feature phone-trampling battery life of three to four days.

Verdict:
The JioPhone is essentially available under the contract, where users have to pay Rs 1,500 for the phone initially and keep recharging the data plans for three years, after which a sum of Rs 1,500 will be credited back to the user in exchange of the phone. This then clearly makes it suitable for those budget-conscious Internet app-savvy consumers looking for a robust phone that will work. It can also be recommended for the elderly who prefers to stay away from the complicated multitasking life of an average millennial. What it fails to do is make sense to the smartphone generation or those who have the means to get an expensive iPhone.
But this is what the JioPhone is meant to do - provide basic entry-level smartphone thrills on a very tight budget. The JioPhone can do most of the stuff that you require on a smartphone in 2017 but may not be the best medium to do so. However, this is a rebirth of the ‘smart feature phone’ and it shows that everyone can enjoy the best of modern-day mobile computing in any form factor. If you fancy the concept of the JioPhone, then this will be a good supplement to your daily commute luggage. However, remember that you will still need your smartphone in the other pocket — YouTube, Facebook, Candy Crush, Tinder and so on.

In order to make the Aadhaar-SIM linking process easier for consumers, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has approved the model presented by telecom operators, which includes three new ways of linking with SIM. The three new modes of linking are OTP, app and IVRS based.
CEO, Ajay Bhushan Pandey told , “Yes, we have approved it. We had a very detailed discussion with the telecom operators, and they have come out with a scheme which is secure and will also be convenient to people,” He added, “And this will help people verify their mobile number with Aadhaar without going to a telecom outlet, provided their mobile number is already added to ,”

The reported deadline for the completion of re-verification process is February 6 and apart from the above stated methods, users can also walk to their respective telecom provider’s outlet for completing the linking process. The Government has also ordered the telecom companies to carry out the process using iris-based biometric devices and by visiting the doorsteps of differently abled, chronically ill and senior citizens, who are unable to visit the stores.

“The steps include one where subscribers can go to the mobile phone company’s portal and give their mobile number and number and then the OTP will come on the registered mobile number,” said Pandey. The government recently allowed telecom operators to re-verify their subscriber’s active SIM connections. The telcos were instructed to draw up methods for carrying out the reverification process and also make it simple and easy for users

Once on the UIDAI website, spot and click on the 'Verify Aadhaar Number' link. The 'Verify Aadhaar Number' tool can also be accessed through a link.

In the second field, called 'Enter Security Code', fill in the code as displayed in the image and click 'Verify'.

For active Aadhaar numbers, the website will then display a message confirming the status of the Aadhaar number entered. Few days back WhatsApp rolled out its new feature where a sent message can be deleted, but within seven minutes. Now, Spanish Android blog Android Jefe has developed the idea to recover that deleted message.

According the reports, the third-party app recovery feature will only work on Android 7.0 Nougat or higher version. The name of the app is Notification History which is used to read deleted text messages. No video and image can be recovered, it can only read the deleted text.

One can download the Notification History app from Google Play Store, users should be able to see messages that have been deleted in the Android Notification log. “What we found is that the messages are stored in the notification register of the Android system. So, it’s just a matter of entering that record to see the messages that the other person deleted. The Notification History application is a shortcut to that record,” the post reads.

After downloading the app, user can search the message in the Android notification log and those who are using Nova launcher, it’s even easier without downloading the third-party app. They have to long press the home screen, then tap on Widgets > Activities > Settings > Notification log. Popular messaging app WhatsApp, in October, introduced a 'Delete For Everyone' feature, allowing users to expunge a sent message within seven minutes. In less than a month, it has emerged that WhatsApp's 'Delete For Everyone' feature is flawed and receivers can still read a deleted message. Android Jefe, a Spanish Android blog, found that deleted messages of WhatsApp chat are saved in the notification register of the Android system and can be read anytime.

"We have discovered a way to recover or see messages deleted by the other person in a WhatsApp chat," the blog reads. "What we found is that the messages are stored in the notification register of the Android system. So, it's just a matter of entering that record to see the messages that the other person deleted," it stated. The workaround appears to be available only for Android 7.0 users. It is unclear if a similar hack is available on iOS.

Whenever a notification comes on an Android device, be it a message or an app alert, it is stored in the notification log. The first 100 characters of the notification message also get saved. So while a WhatsApp users may not be able to see the message in WhatsApp chat after it is deleted by the sender, he/she can still find it in the notification log.

Here, I am going to show you how to hide, encrypt and secure your data everywhere you go.

We will be using a free and open source tool called Truecrypt.
Truecrypt is an incredible software which does an extremely good job of encrypting your data. Truecrypt encryption is thought to be unbreakable, even the FBI hackers can’t break it. There are many ways to configure truecrypt, but here I will be discussing the simplest and most convenient way.

How to use truecrypt to encrypt your files and folders?
We will create a “file container” much like a secure vault. You can decide the size of this ‘vault’.
This vault is a single file and can have any extension and you can transfer it anywhere you like. You can open the vault by opening it with truecrypt and entering the password.

So, lets get started
1. Open truecrypt and click on Create Volume

2. Leave the default and Click next

3. Leave the default and click Next

4. Click Select File

5. Anywhere in your hard drive, just type any file name you want your container to be. Here its myfile.txt

Note that .txt is just an extension, and it doesn’t have any meaning in this regard. The idea is that people will think its a mere txt file.

6. Leave the default and Click next

7. Enter the desired size of the container and click next. I’ve made mine 3GB.
Note that you cannot change the size of the container afterwards.

8. Create a strong password for your container.

Note that the only way to crack truecrypt is to brute-force it. So, if your password is at least 15 or 20 characters with all the special characters etc, it should theoretically be impossible to break.

9. Move your mouse around a bit, and click Format. It may take some time depending on your CPU

power. After the format is complete, close the window.

10. Next, click on any drive in the list. I’ve clicked drive L:

After that, select the file we created earlier, myfile.txt. And finally click on Mount.

11. Once you press mount, it will ask for the password you set earlier. Click Ok and you are done.

Now, if you go to My Computer, you will find a new hard drive with the letter L:

You can store all your sensitive files here, and once you are done, just click on Dismount, and your drive will no longer be accessible. Next time you want to open or view your files, just mount your file again.

This process of mounting and unmounting again and again whenever you need to access your data may seem cumbersome at first, but you will realize in the long run that it is only for the good. You can transfer your container file anywhere, even in a Linux system and open it again using truecrypt.

Now, the UIDAI allows only address to be updated online or by post. Only address can be updated online or by post with effect from October 20, 2017, the UIDAI said on microblogging site Twitter. Previously, the UIDAI website also allowed changes to other basic details on Aadhaar, such as name and date of birth. “All current update requests (submitted before 20th Oct 2017) will be completed as per standard process,” the UIDAI noted.
Individuals looking to change or update details such as name, date of birth, mobile number and email address will now have to visit the ‘Aadhaar Kendra’ or Aadhaar centre nearest to them in order to make a request. This was said by the UIDAI on Twitter.
Aadhaar is the 12-digit personal identification number issued by the UIDAI. This number, known as UID or Unique Identity Number, is also printed on Aadhaar card, an identity card available in physical as well as digital form. “Aadhaar is a lifelong unique 12-digit random number assigned to a resident which is verifiable online anywhere anytime using the Aadhaar authentication platform,” the UIDAI adds on its website.

How to update address fed into Aadhaar database
Once on the UIDAI website, find and click on the ‘Address Update Request (Online)’ tool. This tool can also be accessed through its link.
Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and click on ‘Send OTP’. OTP or one-time password is sent by the Aadhaar system on the user’s registered mobile number.
On the next page, select ‘address’ and proceed by clicking ‘Submit’.
At the next step, fill in the new or correct details.
On the next page, the UIDAI portal enables the user to check the entries.
(On this page of the Aadhaar portal, users can review the information fed by them for correctness)
Check the details thoroughly and proceed.
At this stage, the user is required to submit a valid document supporting the change. Users are required to upload digital files created by scanning the original documents.
“Upload original scan copies, else your update request will be rejected… Upload only the valid documents to avoid update request from rejection,” the UIDAI noted.
Select from the available service providers and proceed. At this stage, the UIDAI portal also displays the estimated time required to process your request.
At the end of submission, a URN or Update Request Number is issued. This URN can be used to track the status of your request.
Documents required for Aadhaar address change
“Residents are required to upload scanned image of original Proof of Address(PoA)/self signed (self-attested) copy of PoA documents for update/correction. View the valid list of documents,” the UIDAI added. The documents required for address change include passport, bank statement/passbook, statement of Post Office account/passbook, ration card, voter id, driving license, water bill and telephone landline bill, among others, according to the UIDAI website. The bills for water, telephone and electricity must not be older than three months, it noted.

Step 2. Now in the drop down list select settings. Now under the General Tab, you will find an option of Enable Undo Send.

Step 3. You just Need to select the option of Enable Undo Send. After You enabled it you will be given the option of “Send cancellation period” Set it to your limit.

Step 4. After you had set your time limit you need to save this changes to apply on your Gmail account. Now Gmail will give you 10 seconds to undo every email when it is sent, but you can change this time in settings->general->undo send->cancellation period and set it to the maximum of seconds. That’s it every time you send the mail it will display 10-30 seconds to undo the sent email.
