LG has launched a new Android handset, the LG Optimus 3D which comes with a 1GHz dual core processor, 4.3 inch WVGA display and it comes with 8GB of memory and 4Gb LP DDR2, there is also a dual 5 lens 5 megapixel camera on the rear which can record 3D video.

The LG Optimus 3D can record and playback full HD video in 1080p in 2D and HD video in 720p in 3D, ti also comes with DLNA, HDMI, and HSPA.

HP Touchpad webOS Tablet

The HP TouchPad has a 9.7 inch capacitive multitouch display, with a resolution of 1024 x 768, there is a dual core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and there is also 512MB of RAM, plus a 1.3 megapixel camera on the front of the Palm TouchPad for video chat.

Other specifications on the HP TouchPad include 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, and it features a 6300 mAh battery, support for Adobe Flash 10.1, plus a wide range of music and video formats, which include DRM-free MP3, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR, QCELP, WAV, MPEG-4, H.263, H.264.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Play

Sony Ericsson has announced the Xperia Playwhich comes with an FWVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, there is also a 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8225 processor, plus 512MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM.

Other features on the Xperia Play include built in WiFi, plus Bluetooth, A-GPS, a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The Xperia Play will come with Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play also features a 5.1 megapixel camera with autofocus, a built in flash, plus geo-tagging and image stabilization, there is also a microSD card slot which comes pre-loaded with an 8GB card.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will be available in March in Europe and in April in the USA, there is no word on pricing as yet.

The Nikon Coolpix S9100 will go on sale in March for about $480.

Apple are yet to release iOS 4.2 to will bring multitasking and a bunch of other cool stuff to the iPad, as well as some new features to the iPhone and iPod Touch.

Samsung Epic 4G Available On Sprint From August 31st

The Samaung Epic 4G is Samsung’s latest Android smartphone, and looks like it may be their most impressive to date, it features a 4 inch Super AMOLED touch screen display, plus a five megapixel camera and an LED flash.

The camera can record HD video in 720p and there is also a front facing video camera, which means that the Epic 4G can be used for video calls.

Other features on the Samsung Epic 4G include, integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a six axis accelerometer, and a 1GHz processor, plus EV-DO Rev and WiMax, there is also a full QWERTY keyboard.

The Samsung Epic 4G will be available for $249.99 on a two year contract with Sprint, after rebates, and it can be reserved for store pick up on the 31st of August 2010.

Motorola Announces The Droid 2

Motorola has announced the sucessor to its popular Droid Android mobile phone, the Motorola Droid 2. The Motorola Droid 2 featires a 3.7 inch display, plus a slide out QWERTy keyboard and it comes woth the latest version of Google’s mobile OS, Android 2.2.

The Motorola Droid 2 is the first Android smartphone to be released that features native support for Adobe Flash, and it supports the latest version of Flash, 10.1.

Storage wise you get 8GB of built in storage, there is also a microSD card slot that can take up to 32GB cards, giving you a total of 40GB of storage.

The Motorola Droid 2 is available from today from Verizon, prices start at $199 with a two year mobile contract.
