Earlier this month, without any announcement, the PUBG corporation launched the Royale Pass Season 13 along with two new cartoon rangers under the moniker Ice Ranger and Fire Ranger. The update also brought along a new Miramar map with added resources and dynamically generated massive dust storms.

Just a few weeks after the update, the developers have announced that they will roll out a new mode for PUBG mobile tipped to be called ‘Mysterious Jungle’. The news was announced via a tweet from PUBG Mobile’s official site. The tweet details that the new mode will be rolled out to players on first June.

This announcement is accompanied by a teaser that shows the Mysterious Jungle mode in the game and an image that shows two players looking at a map of Sanhok. The image hints at new treasure hunts that could be a part of the mysterious jungle.

PUBG had started teasing this new mode about two weeks ago with the release of the Royale pass 13. At that time, it was titled Jungle Adventure mode.

Surface Book 3 design and display

The Surface Book’s unique design continues with version 3: It folds like a traditional clamshell laptop, or the display detaches to be used as a tablet. The Surface Book 3 reclines a bit less than other laptops do, about 50 degrees off of the horizontal.

You can even mount the tablet backward in “presentation mode” for others to view your screen. Microsoft says it’s sped up detachment time to a second or two. The tablet will reattach itself if you don’t remove it, I noticed.

The Surface Book 3’s beautiful PixelSense touch display is as good as ever. It produced 496 nits of luminosity by our measurement, twice what we consider comfortable for indoor work. Both “enhanced” and “sRGB” modes are available for color fidelity in design work.

The ability to detach the display is the Surface Book 3’s most distinctive feature, but not its best. Both the 13.5-inch and the 15-inch Surface Book 3 tablets are uncomfortably awkward to hold. Because they lack the kickstand of a Surface Pro 7, they’re good for just one thing: drawing, using a Surface Pen or Surface Dial (neither included). Propping it up to watch Netflix simply isn’t as effective as with a Surface Pro or Surface Go. The Surface Book 3 really works best as a traditional clamshell PC.

The Surface Book 3’s price suggests a powerful Intel H-class Core chip might be inside, but because the CPU is mounted behind the display, the excellent Ice Lake U-series chips are used instead. The discrete GPU (if there is one) resides in the base. The Surface Book 3’s memory, however, has been substantially upgraded from the prior generation, from 1,866MHz DDR3 to the current 3,733MHz LPDDR4.

Microsoft's claim that the Surface Book 3 includes its "fastest SSD ever" applies only to the 1TB and 2TB SSDs in the most expensive versions. Our review unit's fast 512GB Toshiba SSD (the same used in the “Ice Lake” version of the Surface Laptop 3) sufficed for documents and a few games.

Honor Magic Book Pro Comes With 10th Gen Intel Processors

Honor launched the Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 refresh yesterday at the brand’s Smart Life Product Launch event held in China. The new laptop comes with design and display specifications similar to the Honor MagicBook 14 and 15 launched last year. However, the internals have received major tweaks.

Design and Display

The Honor MagicBook Pro 2020 has a design profile similar to the MagicBook Pro 14 and 15 launched last year. The chassis is built out of an aluminum alloy, and the whole thing weighs just 1.7kg and is 16.9mm thick. It has a similar 16.1-inch screen with a 90% screen-to-body ratio, 4.9mm bezels around the display, a 1080p display panel with 100 percent sRGB coverage, and a webcam hiding in the keyboard.

The dual speakers are installed on both sides of the keyboard, and the fingerprint reader sits on the right side.

The new Honor MagicBook 2020 comes with two processor configurations
