O que parecia quase inevitável foi finalmente confirmado. &lt;b&gt;A nova consola da Microsoft terá mesmo de ter uma conexão à internet&lt;/b&gt;. &amp;nbsp;As boas notícias é que a conexão não terá de ser constante. &lt;a href="http://news.xbox.com/2013/05/qa" target="_blank"&gt;No site oficial para a imprensa&lt;/a&gt;, a empresa norte-americana responde à pergunta "A Xbox One requer uma conexão à internet constante?" da seguinte forma.&lt;/div&gt;

Algo estranha esta resposta, mas todas as dúvidas dissiparam-se quando o vice-presidente da Microsoft Phill Harrison, que em conversa com um jornalista do site norte-americano &lt;a href="http://kotaku.com/xbox-one-does-require-internet-connection-cant-play-o-509164109" target="_blank"&gt;Kotaku&lt;/a&gt;, disse o seguinte:&lt;/div&gt;

Isto é para dar alguma funcionalidade à Xbox Live,&lt;b&gt; para fornecer conteúdo descarregado ao utilizador&lt;/b&gt;, assim como algumas inovações em torno da TV e outros tipos de entretenimento como mostrámos hoje [ontem]. Mas não precisa de estar sempre online.&lt;/blockquote&gt;

Mas a consola é fundamentalmente desenhada para ser expandida pela internet, como muitos outros aparelhos&lt;/blockquote&gt;

Ou seja, &lt;b&gt;caso não liguem a consola pelo menos uma vez por dia à Internet, não poderão jogar&lt;/b&gt;.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

Sinto-me muito contente por ter feito algo de que os gamers portugueses se orgulham. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #3d85c6;"&gt;GS:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt; Esse orgulho está também a ser claramente demonstrado através do download do jogo na Appstore portuguesa onde (à altura desta entrevista) ocupa o segundo lugar de jogos pagos, à frente de títulos da franquia Angry Birds ou Plants vs Zombies. Também internacionalmente está a receber críticas muito positivas e a reflectir boas vendas. O que faz de Fangz um vencedor num mercado com tantos títulos novos diariamente? É um sucesso esperado ou excedeu as expectativas? &lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #e06666;"&gt;AR:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt; Antes de começar a fazer o Fangz, estudei atentamente o mercado da App Store, para descobrir o que fazia um jogo subir ao top 100. Depois de encontrar uma série de critérios (e.g. gráficos cartoon, gameplay, branding, etc), apliquei-os aos jogos entre as posições entre a 100 e a 200, e tentei antecipar quais subiriam ao top 100. Eventualmente conseguia acertar com cerca de 70% de certeza se um jogo subiria no ranking ou não e aí decidi fazer o Fangz.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;O que torna o Fangz diferente é o facto de se ter centrado num "vácuo" na App Store. Esta era a única hipótese que eu tinha de lutar contra uma qualquer multinacional com múltiplas equipas extensas. Focar-me no nicho dos gamers deu a publicidade que esperava ao Fangz. O ter ligado o jogo a eventos da atualidade também ajudou certamente a esta notoriedade. Dito isto, o Fangz excedeu as minhas expectativas. Não pensei que fosse tão bem recebido, mas tinha esperanças.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #3d85c6;"&gt;GS: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;Logo no trailer "Economic Meltdown", somos confrontados com uma visão dos inimigos bastante caricata, onde advogados e banqueiros entre outros, são representados como sugadores da sociedade, ou seja, literalmente vampiros. O humor é visivelmente um ponto forte deste jogo desde o seu conceito. Foi escrito maioritariamente por outrem ou o Alexandre teve dedo nos toques humorísticos? Houve algum cuidado especial para não ir longe demais?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #e06666;"&gt;AR:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt; Eu escrevi o script original do jogo. Parecia-me suficientemente engraçado, mas tinha a noção de que o que é culturalmente aceite em Portugal podia não o ser nos EUA (podendo até ser ofensivo). Por isso contratei um escritor norte americano, o Ron Mattocks, que editou e reescreveu grandes partes do script do jogo. Se não fosse ele o texto seria quase banal (infelizmente sou melhor a escrever software do que literatura).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #3d85c6;"&gt;GS:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt; Na descrição do jogo pode ler-se que este "NUNCA" irá incluir compras dentro do jogo. Porquê esta oposição em relação ás micro-transacções tão proeminentes neste meio? Sente que é isso que os jogadores querem, um produto completo?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #e06666;"&gt;AR:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt; Custou-me incluir a palavra "nunca", porque nunca digo nunca.&lt;br /&gt;Centra-se na minha decisão de ir para um "vácuo" na app store. Há um nicho de jogadores que detestam IAPs e a intersecção desse grupo com o grupo dos gamers é quase total. No grupo dos casual gamers há um aceitar natural de IAPs, talvez pelo facto de muitos deles terem começado a jogar em iOS/Android.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #3d85c6;"&gt;GS:&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt; O Alexandre trabalhava anteriormente na Nokia Siemens, que deixou para se dedicar totalmente ao seu projecto. Produzir videojogos sempre esteve na lista de sonhos? De onde nasceu Fangz? E a Game Whizzes?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #e06666;"&gt;AR: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;Sempre gostei de jogos, sempre fui um gamer. Gosto muito desta área, porque posso criar mundos virtuais e gerar emoções. Dá-me um gozo tremendo ver alguém a chegar ao ponto de quase frustração no Fangz para depois conseguir passar um qualquer nível e entrar em êxtase (tenho pessoas a enviarem-me emails a dizer que saltaram de alegria). Infelizmente o nível de dificuldade do Fangz não é para todos, e também recebo opiniões menos favoráveis, mas a decisão de não incluir níveis de dificuldade diferentes foi pensada também na estratégia do "vácuo" e como forma de o jogo causar mais alguma polémica.&lt;br /&gt;A ideia do Fangz apareceu da mistura dos critérios que anteriormente falei. O nome foi pensado para ser simples, com apenas uma palavra, e que fosse uma palavra não existente na loja da Apple (se pesquisar Fangz na loja da Apple só vai ter um resultado).&lt;br /&gt;Escolhi o nome Game Whizzes depois de passar por imensos outros. Queria transmitir a ideia de expertise na área de gaming e game play, e depois de umas dezenas de nomes cujo domínio na internet estava ocupado, cheguei a Game Whizzes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
&lt;span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #3d85c6;"&gt;GS: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;Fangz está em produção desde 2009, o que para um produtor independente não é muito tempo face a todo o trabalho existente. Quais são as maiores dificuldades que um criador de videojogos enfrenta para vingar não só em Portugal, mas internacionalmente? Que conselhos dá a quem se encontra na mesma situação?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;span style="color: #e06666;"&gt;AR: &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/b&gt;Comecei o jogo em 2009, mas num part time muito ligeiro. Adicionalmente houve um intervalo de cerca de um ano, em que não fiz praticamente nada no jogo, uma vez que o Alex Gallego se demitiu depois do primeiro mês de trabalho. Depois de ver o trabalho de imensos designers, acabei por voltar ao Alex Gallego e perguntar-lhe que ordenado queria. Depois contratei-o durante um ano. O tempo de produção do Fangz foi cerca de 2 anos, a full time. Se o fizesse agora demoraria 6 meses, e o Alex Gallego também, em virtude de tudo o que aprendemos durante o processo de criação do Fangz.&lt;br /&gt;As maiores dificuldades quando se cria um video jogo sozinho, são as mesmas de quem cria outra coisa qualquer sozinho. Passei por períodos de alguma ansiedade, principalmente quando sabia exactamente o que queria fazer, mas para saber se resultaria tinha de esperar meses, até conseguir produzir todas os componentes do software. Passei por períodos de alguma insegurança, principalmente quando recebia ofertas de emprego que recusava para continuar a trabalhar no Fangz (e durante a maior crise económica dos nossos tempos). Mas encontrava sempre apoio na Paula [Companheira de Alexandre Ribeiro]. &lt;br /&gt;Felizmente o facto de ter um chefe porreiro ajudou muito. Vivo sempre pela máxima que mais vale descansar na segunda-feira, do que passar o resto da semana a corrigir os erros do mau trabalho feito nessa segunda. Quando me sentia cansado, parava de trabalhar e fazia outra coisa qualquer.&lt;br /&gt;Infelizmente em Portugal ainda reina muito a mentalidade das 9 às 5. A única empresa portuguesa onde senti que me davam toda a liberdade do mundo para trabalhar foi na Mind S.A. Na Nokia tive essa liberdade durante muito tempo (e andava feliz da vida), mas depois de uma reestruturação as coisas mudaram e veio a mentalidade bem mais "estreita" da obrigatoriedade de um trabalho das 9 às 5. Muitas pessoas não percebem que ser consistente evita que se seja excelente...&lt;/span&gt;&lt;div&gt;

A série Gran Turismo é tão relevante como era há 15 anos atrás. Tem e continua a ter um grande sucesso. A Playstation e Gran Turismo estarão sempre ligados, GT é um exclusivo da Playstation. É o exclusivo com mais sucesso da história da nossa marca e já vendeu &lt;b&gt;70 milhões de unidades no mundo, sendo que quase metade foi na Europa. &lt;/b&gt;Gran Turismo 5 vendeu 10 milhões de cópias.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/blockquote&gt;&lt;a name='more'&gt;&lt;/a&gt;

Dito isto, entrou em palco o criador da série. &lt;b&gt;O novo jogo de GT está mesmo a chegar&lt;/b&gt; e segundo Kazunori Yamauchi, presidente da Polyphony Digital, o &lt;b&gt;motor de jogo será modificado&lt;/b&gt; para Gran Turismo 6. Quer o motor de físicas, quer o de renderização serão alterados de modo a torná-los mais suaves.&lt;br /&gt;

O jogo &lt;b&gt;contará também com mais 200 carros que Gran Turismo 5&lt;/b&gt;, aumentando assim o seu total para 1200, mas o estúdio promete continuar a apoiar o jogo com o lançamento de &lt;b&gt;novos carros em formato DLC.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Para comemorar o 15º aniversário do lançamento do primeiro Gran Turismo,&lt;b&gt; a Sony terá um evento no Reino Unido,&lt;/b&gt; na famosa Silverstone Circuit, onde Kazunori Yamauchi, criador da série, deverá falar sobre &lt;b&gt;o seu futuro.&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Perto de Seattle, há um acidente com um veículo que transportava condutores, libertando-os assim. O governo vê-se obrigado a&lt;b&gt; fechar a cidade&lt;/b&gt; e a organizar uma busca a estes "bioterroristas". Rowe irá ajudar os feridos do acidente e descobrir por ele mesmo os seus poderes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

Pode também usar &lt;b&gt;nuvens de fumo&lt;/b&gt; para confundir os inimigos. O seu "stock" de fumo é reabastecido através de chaminés e carros destruídos. O fumo não será, contudo, os únicos poderes de Rowe.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;

&lt;span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"&gt;Haverão &lt;b&gt;várias decisões &lt;/b&gt;que o jogador terá de tomar, escolhendo se quer seguir o &lt;b&gt;caminho do bem ou o caminho do mal&lt;/b&gt; (como é costume na série). Numa demonstração exemplificada, Rowe teve de decidir se salva ou mata um soldado que se rendeu.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;
