So I pretty much have got building and launching these micro niche blogs down to a science now. I have really learned a lot over the last year, quite a few errors in judgment with purchasing domain names, and even quite a few more mistakes in my thought process in running these what I call, “Drag, Drop and Forget” WordPress sites. Needless to say things are going very well now, but it would have been nice to not have made so many mistakes. I guess though, making mistakes is a huge part of learning.

About two weeks ago I was curious to see if search engines look at old fashion static HTML sites differently than blogs. Now, I can’t really prove this, but in my opinion it sure does seem like Google is just filled with blogs in their search results. Seriously, am I the only one who sees this?

Anyway, about two weeks ago I decided to load up my good old trusty copy of FrontPage. I did some keyword research, found a very nice domain name and proceeded to build a static HTML web page. The only difference with this compared to the old school sites I used to build many years ago, is with this site, I made use off all the tools that are available today that weren’t available many years ago. Also too, I have really gained a lot of experience by using WordPress and I am sure that has helped a lot too.

So are there people who still build static HTML pages? It sure was pretty cool to crank up FrontPage and NotePad again. It was even more entertaining to see how well my site ranks in Google. After less than two weeks I rank on the front page (Top Ten Results) for the keyword phrase I chose to target. Seeing how well this did, I spent about an hour today launching another one.

If these little static HTML sites prove to be as effective as the first one I built, I very well might start doing more of them over doing WordPress blogs. The problem I have with WordPress is the heavy demand on the server. Loading a WordPress post or page takes up a lot more system resources compared to loading up a static HTML page. So for people like me, who have quite a few WordPress sites, the web hosting bill can become quite expensive.

Do you still build static HTML web pages? Drop a comment and share your thoughts?

AOL announced last week that they are making plans on redesigning Netscape.com into more of a social and news style portal. With these plans, they also plan on migrating their existing social news network over to Propeller.com.

I have been a registered member of Propeller.com for close to a year. Many of you know that I went through a phase of trying to push traffic to my blogs using social networks such as StumbleUpon.com, Digg.com and even Propeller.com.

Of all the social networks I participated in, Propeller.com was the lowest on the ranks in terms of driving traffic to my sites. However, recently about three weeks ago, I noticed that Propeller.com had a complete overhaul and new web design.

The new Propeller.com is very appealing and extremely fun and friendly to use. While I have been busy with other projects, I did make a note of newly updated Propeller.com web site and have full intentions to join back in.

With that said, I can now start to see why Propeller.com was redesigned as I am starting to see the bigger picture of what AOL is doing. They had Propeller.com redesigned towards taking their first steps with shifting their Netscape.com social news to it.

Soon, and this is just a prediction, I beleive that Propeller.com might be a more effective social network with much more traffic and an increased level of user interest. It might not be a bad idea to register and get a profile set up and start making friends.

I think with AOL’s plans to funnel traffic from Netscape.com to Propeller.com, that there may be a great opportunity for bloggers and publishers to contribute in a newly restructured social network that could very well have some decent traffic coming into it soon.

Keep in mind too my overall view of social networks. While many social networks can indeed funnel large amounts of traffic to your web pages, I found that this traffic doesn’t little for publishers who monetize their content.

What do you think? Do you think the new Propeller.com will pick up momentum after Netscape.com funnels traffic to it?

You shouldn’t pack it up and call it a day after you write and publish a blog post. In fact, after you publish a blog post, you should look at it as being the beginning of your day rather than the end of the day. I’ll admit, this strategy is new for me; however, it works. My traffic has increased so much over the last few weeks and partly due to what I have done after I publish the post.

If getting traffic to your newly published article is important to you, then you’re going to need to reach out and pull people in to view your post. It is your blog and it is your responsibility to capture the attention of people. Again, that is assuming that you care about having people read your posts. Some bloggers just blog to pass the time and don’t care who or how many people read it.

How Attractive Is Your Post Title and First Paragraph?

First thing is that you really need to write something special. Your post really needs to reach out and grab someone within the first few seconds of reading. The blog post title is extremely important. In many cases, the post title is the deciding factor whether someone even gives your post a chance.

If your post title is hot, then you’ll get people to visit the page. However, very quickly thereafter – within the first few sentences – if your writing doesn’t continue to interest the person reading the post, they will quickly lose interest and not continue to read your post. The post title and the first paragraph of your posts have to be spot on and be an attention grabber.

Don’t Waste Your Material.

Lately, in more recent posts, I have been suggesting that people reduce their post volume down a bit. To me, it seems pointless to publish new content until your most recent post has reached its maximum exposure. How do you determine the maximum exposure rate? Well, I am sure there is more of an analytical way to determine this, but for me, I relate my maximum exposure rate to cooking popcorn in the microwave.

When you cook popcorn in the microwave, the instructions on the bag say, “stand by the microwave oven and listen for the popping sound to slow down. Do not wait for the popping sound to completely stop before turning off the microwave oven.” I use those same set of instructions with my blog. In other words, I monitor how many times my most recent post has been viewed, I monitor the number of interactions (e.g. comments) the post has had and I observe when the traffic has hit its peek and comments start to dwindle down. To me that is how I determine when it’s time to publish a new post.

Marketing and Promoting Your Blog Post

After a new post has been published on a blog, most people will wrap things up and call it a day. This is far from what you should be doing. Publishing your post is really only a fraction of the work that you need to invest in. Most of your time needs to be invested into marketing and promoting your blog and most recent blog post.

How Do You Market And Promote Your Blog?

Well, this has been a recent huge focus for me. I have been studying, testing and trying to figure out some of the most effective ways to promote my blog and my posts. What I have been doing is far from a master plan or anything like that, but I can tell you that it has really helped me to get more people to read what I write and visit my blog.

Email Newsletter Subscription VS FeedBurner

I have found that promoting a free newsletter on my blog is more effective than promoting my FeedBurner subscription options. In many ways, this really does make sense. For me -and I believe it would be safe to assume that the same goes for many others – my Google Reader is filled to the maximum. At any given time, my Google Reader tells me that I have 1000+ unread posts. However, my email inbox only has less than 100.

If the same is true for other people, then when I write a blog post and then write an email to my list subscribers in Aweber, my notification gets bumped ahead of everyone else. In the game of marketing, I have to believe that I am really not much different than other people. And in doing so, I know that email takes a huge priority over RSS feeds.

The number one way to promote your newly published content on your blog is by establishing an email list and using it to notify people when you have written something new and cool on your blog. FeedBurner provides an email notification service, which I feel is better to promote than your FeedBurner RSS feed, but even that is still far from being as powerful as sending out a personalized email to your subscribers. I use Aweber for my email newsletter needs. you can sign up or learn more.

Social Bookmarking and Networking For Marketing and Promoting

Sites like Digg.com, StumbleUpon.com, Propeller.com and Sphinn.com all have their special blend of people who are primarily interested in certain topics. Contributing in social bookmarking sites is a very effective way to market and promote your blog and content within. However, your primary topic of choice will dictate which social bookmarking site works best for you. You need to invest time into researching many social bookmarking sites and not limit yourself to the just the four sites listed above. There are many different sites that hoard a lot of people who have specific interests (e.g. ActiveRain caters to the real estate niche).

Effective Method For Social Network Marketing and Promoting

There is a right way and a wrong way to market and promote your blog in the social networking and bookmarking sites. Each community has their own set of written rules as well as community based unwritten rules (e.g. what you do to be cool within the group). Most places such as Digg.com and StumbleUpon.com, discourage and frown upon others who submit their own content into their network.

The main reason why it isn’t good to submit your own content is because history usually repeats itself and most all people who submit their own content are doing it for the wrong intentions. Many consider this as spam. Many people know that the primary purpose for an individual to submit their own content is for the purpose of getting more traffic and exposure. That breaks the unwritten social community rules of engagement.

The community also understands that most people who do submit their own content will do so regardless of the level of quality. All in all, it is not advisable to submit your own content into social networking or bookmarking sites. The goal is to have other people do it for you.

How Do You Get Listed Without Doing It Yourself?

This is a slow growth process. In order to be successful with marketing and promoting your blog and content in social networking and bookmarking sites, you need to downplay the real reason why you are there and or just forget about your original intention or marketing and promoting your blog for awhile. If community members perceive that you are engaging into their network for the purpose of promoting your blog and content then they will likely not become a social networking buddy with you.

The key to success in social networking is having friends. So anything that you do to prevent gaining friendships in social networking sites is bad. Real bad! Gaining the trust and respect of others in social networking sites shouldn’t be hard, but make no mistake, it doesn’t happen overnight either. It’s a slow growth process.

In the long run, if you successfully establish yourself into one or two social networking / bookmarking sites, then your friends will automatically and naturally submit your content into the network voluntarily. The ultimate goal is to carry yourself well and build up a level of trust and respect with your peers within the social network to the point to where they submit your content and market and promote it for you.

How Do You Get In Good With The Social Networks?

Forget about your blog. You have to play the game and be the best at it. First, you have to recognize what the majority of the community members are interested in. Then you need to be the best at delivering the things the community wants. Be a contributor. View the profiles of members within the social networking community and observe the type of content they submit into the network. Cherry pick people and find individuals who share similar interests to the content that you typically publish on your blog. Select a handful of these people and cling to them.

Participate in their campaigns, vote or rate the content they submit into the network, visit their own blogs and read and comment on their posts. Submit or vote on content they have written and slowly over time, begin to build up an establishment of trust and respect with this selected handful of cherry picked individuals. Slowly, they will see your level of commitment and level of contribution.

The way most of these networks are set up, the members of your group will really have no choice but to recognize your efforts as everything you do within the network is documented. As time goes by, your name, your avatar and your profile will begin to be noticeable within your cherry picked group. Soon the tables will turn and you’ll hit the breaking point from being a newbie to an authority within your group. When that happens, people within your group will start to plug, rate, submit and or vote for your content instead of the other way around.

During this time as you’re attempting to conquer and become the authority in one group, you need to constantly be repeating the process in another. Commonly you will start to discover that these micro groups intertwine as you’ll start to see familiar faces from one one group to another group. This is a good thing!

What About Search Engines and Directories?

The reason why I am not talking much about search engines is for the fact that SEO is really a no brainer. People tend to over complicate SEO. Making a blog or web site friendly for search engines is not rocket science. The true challenge in getting hoards of traffic to your blog or web site is not in scoring traffic from search engines. If your web site or blog is built correctly, then search traffic will naturally come as your web site, blog and content within will rank accordingly in the search results.

The true challenge that is close to rocket science is in social networking. The reason being is simple. With Google, you’re trying to butter up to a computer program. Computer programs don’t have good days or bad days. Computer programs don’t base their decision to approve you, your blog or your content off emotion, personality or personal interest.

A computer program has a specific set of rules and instructions and regardless of who you are as an individual, race, gender, religious beliefs, etc… Google and all automatic search engines will still subject you to the same standards as everyone else. Search engines don’t care if you’re female, black, white, gay, satanic, etc. They care about content and ranking it accordingly.

The same is not true in social networking sites. In social networking sites you’re dealing with people and you’re attempting to harness the power of people within a mass group towards using them to market and promote your blog and content within.

In the long run of things, social networkings sites can harness more power than a search engine. I believe that word of mouth marketing is much more powerful and effective than any other form of marketing. Word of mouth marketing typically results in a higher success rate for the desired action. With that being said, in my opinion, social networking / bookmarking sites is the same as word of mouth marketing but on steroids.

Ranking in Google and other search engines is easy. The results are decent, but far from being as effective as getting a solid word of mouth lead. When a trusted friend tells you about a new and cool web site, more likely you’re going to check it out. When a trusted friend in a social networking site submits your content into the network, the only difference is instead of that person telling one person about your blog post, that person is telling thousands. The result is so powerful that literally thousands of people will come crashing into your site within hours.

I hope that you found this article helpful. I would totally appreciate if you took this moment to drop me a comment and share your thoughts. I would also appreciate being rewarded with your vote, rating or submission of this post into your favorite social networking / bookmarking site. As I had just mentioned, word of mouth marketing is very powerful. You’re small contribution of helping spread the word about this article carries a magnitude of power. Help me continue to help others by telling your friends about my blog and specifically this article.

After reading this post, you should race to be one of the first to comment on this post. For those who don’t know, Dave Lamm has been a tailgater for most of his adult life. He always enjoyed tailgating anytime he was invited to a game or concert but never tailgated on a regular basis until a few years ago.

His website, TailgatingIdeas.com, is a website dedicated to bringing you the latest and most intriguing tailgating ideas out there. Whether it is the latest gear, a great new recipe or a funny list to make you smile, his goal is to inform and entertain the avid and the casual tailgater.

At this time, you should seriously crack open a cold beer, fire up the grill, and then sit back in your chair and read this post. David is going to show you how to get a ton of traffic to your blog by leaving just ONE simple comment on another blog.

Pretty cool, huh? Well, keep reading…

Last One To Comment Is A Rotten Egg!

Have you ever seen a blog post hit the front page of Digg or get featured on Slashdot and think to yourself, “Man, I would be happy if I could get just 10% of the traffic that blog is probably receiving right now.”. I have recently discovered a way to “ride the coattails” of those blogs receiving high traffic surges simply by being one of the first to comment on that post.

I recently discovered this technique by accident after I noticed on a particular day that a blog was sending me an inordinate amount of traffic from one particular post. Did they write about my website and offering a glowing endorsement? Nope. I discovered that the only link to my blog on there was via a comment I had left a day or two ago. Why was I getting a lot more visitors today than yesterday or two days ago when the post was fresh and new?

I later found out that I had commented on this blog that had received a ton of visitors that one day. This was a sports blog that was picked up by Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard and was linked to in the Hot Clicks daily link round up. Obviously a website the size of Sports Illustrated is capable of sending thousands upon thousands of visitors to a particular blog with a single link. (not to mention the SEO benefits.) Sure, he was getting about 20,000 to 30,000 visitors that day but I was seeing about 200 visitors by way of the comments section. Table scraps in comparison but his good fortune translated into extra visitors for my blog.

I also noticed that in this blog post, my comment was the first one. There were about 15 comments that had come after mine by the end of the day but mine was first. I can’t help but assume that being one of the first comments on his post helped send the traffic much like being at the top of a SERP helps drive traffic.

So you are probably saying, “That’s great Dave. You got lucky and commented on a post that received a large traffic rush and you got the overflow. How can you predict which blogs will get huge traffic numbers by way of getting a big link?” That is where using your RSS to your advantage is key.

First you need to target the other powerful websites within your niche. We have all heard of Slashdot and Digg and know of the huge numbers of visitors that can come from landing on the front page of those websites. I have heard tales that hitting the front page of Digg is a blessing and a curse all at the same time. Getting “slashdotted” is kind of like a badge of honor in that your blog was hit so hard and so fast that it crushed your servers. You need to target those types of websites that send massive amounts of traffic and is within your niche. You know which ones they are better than I do.

Now if you aren’t using RSS already, you need to start. I won’t bore you with how to set up your RSS but you definitely need to do RSS in a reader and not via email. (RSS emails are generally delivered slower and later than in a RSS reader.) Subscribe to the RSS in Digg or Slashdot or TechCrunch or any other high traffic site that you know links to other blogs. When you see a post that fits into your niche, run, do not walk, to that blog and leave a comment. Hopefully you will be one of the first ones to comment, thus maximizing those extra visitors. Also, make sure to leave a poignant comment and not just, “Great post. Good info here.”. A comment like that will not inspire someone to click on your name which will lead back to your blog.

Leave a comment that is interesting, a comment that shows you read the post. You can pique the interest of the reader to see what else you have to say on your blog. Whatever you do, don’t look like a spamming moron and comment saying, “Good stuff but you should really check out my blog.” and then leave four or five links. More than likely you will be picked up by Askimet. If you make it past that filter people will see right through your oh-so subtle technique. If the blog article comments section does not have a field to fill in your website URL, your comment may be better suited for another blog. Of course you can still comment to improve the overall health and wellness of the blogoshpere but if you are looking for traffic, target those blogs that hot link your name or have the “comment love” WordPress plug-in installed and active.

I make it a point to check Sports Illustrated’s Extra Mustard section every day at the same time because the author updates that section regularly within a 15 minute window. I then go to the blogs that are linked knowing full well that a large amount of traffic will be coming their way. If there are no comments yet, I quickly scan the article and leave a comment that will not only add to the post but possibly raise the interest of another visitor following me. Of course this technique only nets about 200 to 300 visitors a day depending on how many blogs I comment on. Then again, I am sure everyone wouldn’t mind 300 extra visitors a day no matter how big your blog is.

I recently had the good fortune of being directly linked to by Sports Illustrated and the traffic surge was incredible. I also noticed that by virtue of my good fortune those that had left comments on that particular post were receiving some residual traffic as well. I was happy for those bloggers to get that traffic coming their way because we all know comments are the lifeblood of blogging and this may be an incentive for them to come back and comment more.

The key here is to find your niche and target those blogs that you know will receive a large amount of visitors. By using your RSS you can successfully predict which blogs will see a large bump in traffic that day. Now it is up to you to come up with a clever comment that will entice those visitors to click over to your blog.

Google has a new tool that indeed can help you make money online. It is called Google Insights. Using Google Insights can give you insight on which search terms are more popular than others. Additionally, you can find related press releases and web pages information based off your searches such as Pepperjam vs MarketLeverage. For me, I can quickly see how this can help me in my business of search engine marketing.

For me, it’s all about keywords and using Google Insights will tell me if Apple Macbook is more popular than Dell Inspiron and from there I can then use other tools such as Google AdWords Keyword Tool or Micro Niche Finder to find very targetable keywords for the more popular item.

One of the really neat things about Google Insights is if you look at the bottom of the page after doing a search, you will be provided with popular search terms based off your search. You can easily copy these terms and use them for later search engine marketing purposes, such as using them for tags, category names in your blog or even PPC campaign keywords.

Article by Owen Henty from The Linux Blog

On Tuesday, August 5th, 2008 Google rolled out a new tool called Google Insights, which aims to give people an insight into what people are searching for. Now you may be saying or thinking that “Google already has a tool like that, its called Trends” and while Trends is a good tool, it is not the same as Google Insights.

There are a couple of things that I find useful in Google Insights. The first is the search terms. Lets take two search terms “Google and Yahoo“. The first thing you get after running the search is a pretty page. This is nice, but how can you Insights help me make money online? Take a look under the filters and search box you are presented with a nice graph. This graph shows interest over time.

This can provide you with a visual to see what the traffic is compared to another term, thus showing you what interest there is. As we can see from this graph both Google and Yahoo have steady interest, but did you notice that Yahoo has more interest than Google? The ‘trend” from this graph is rather interesting.

Now lets assume we know how many unique visits we get from the term “Google” because we are ranked #1 in the SERP. Over to the right of the page you should see a bar chart with your two search terms “Google” and “Yahoo” Now, if you know the traffic of one, you can estimate what the traffic of the other might be by using your judgment.

The regional interest is of some interest to people marketing online. For example, some one was offering translation services in an SEO forum for a reasonable price. I paid $15 to get three of my best articles translated into Italian, it was kind of a spare of the moment thing. When I type in my search terms in Google Insights you’ll get a regional interest indicator. This can be handy to check out if there are other countries or regions that have more interest for your term.

Should you be using the same sort of advertising methods for this term? Should you be writing or getting articles translated in order to score some international traffic? Thats up to you. The regional interest can be especially useful if you are trying to sell advertising space on your site. Find an area where that search term is hot and see if you can find advertisers in that area. You can even break Insights down by country and city.

Finally for this article there is one more section. The related search terms, some times its just hard to rank for the big terms like “Google”. This is where the Top searches and rising searches come in. You can use these tools to get an idea of what other keywords to go after. The rising searches can also be useful to figure out the next big trend!

So what are you waiting for? Jump over to Google Insights Search and start using it today.

SherryPalmer.com Mentions Google Insights:

So What Do You Think About Google Insights?

I am sure that immediately you can see the potential with this new system. But what are your thoughts? Do you think that Google Insights can help you? Do you think that it can enable you to drive more traffic to your web site or blog? Will it indeed become a tool that will help you make more money online? Drop a comment below and let’s talk about it.

Here is some amazing and free desktop software that can help you get more backlinks to either your flagship blog or your niche blog that targets keywords in the search engines. Just a few days ago I asked everyone if they felt like backlinks were over-rated and I wasn’t too surprised to get a mixture of feedback. I think the point is that backlinks really aren’t needed if you want to make money online, but in doing so, you’re going to need to hit up the longtail rather than attempt to target prime keywords.

For me I like to do both and today I found an amazing program that I will start using to help me build up my backlinks to many of my niche blogs. The program is called Comment Kahuna. It is a totally free desktop application that you can use to search for blog posts related to a your keyword search term that have the highest PageRank. The program is really easy to use, and yes… amazingly it is 100% free. The developer simply wants you to opt into his mailing list which will give him the opportunity to tell you about newer products he develops as well as provide you with free updates on the existing ones.

Comment Kahuna is neat because I can choose to search for blog posts based on the relevancy of certain keywords that I am targeting. From there I can even filter my results by searching for only blogs that have the CommentLuv plugin installed, or even just search for blogs that are from WordPress or even TypePad. all in all, it is pretty neat and best of all, it is free. Special thanks to Mark Mason for telling me about this.

Summary:

As you can see, there is a very broad range of topics that I would like I cover or would really like to expand on. I am open to accepting “One Hit Wonder“, but ideally I am more interested in filling a few long term positions for the blog. This is an excellent opportunity for bloggers to come out of the cracks of the wall and get put into the spot light and gain some really good exposure to their own blogs.

The Purpose of Garry Conn dot Com:

This is a personal blog owned by Garry Conn. The purpose of the content publication is to help others learn how to start a blog and how to find success in operating and maintaining it through growing and expanding their quality content and exposing it to a large and ever growing audience. I teach people how to find success in blogging with a heavy emphasis on teaching people how to make money online with a blog. While my chief focus in on helping others learn how to make money online, a secondary focus is in helping people gain the ranks and increase their level of popularity within the blogosphere for their chosen niche topic.

The Purpose of Garry Conn Seeking Guest Authors:

The purpose of Garry Conn seeking guest authors is divided into two parts:

I want to be able to provide readers, subscribers and viewers with a larger scale of content volume with the ability to expand deeper within the roots of the topics and keywords listed above. In finding success with this goal I have to recognize that I can’t do this alone. I need the help, the minds and ideas of multiple people. In opening up Garry Conn dot Com to guest authors this will allow me to achieve what I feel is the ideal movement for Garry Conn dot Com. My goal is to become one of the leading sites with a source of information for the related topics listed above and to provide readers with a fresh pipeline of content that will help them in their blogging ventures.

I want to help new bloggers by providing them with a direct channel or pipeline for name recognition and exposure. The blogosphere houses a lot of talent; however, due to the sheer number of blogs online, its is very difficult to make a name for yourself. I want to provide a medium that allows for raw talent to get exposed. Back when I first started blogging, no one… and I mean NO ONE would give me the time of day, let alone help or aid me in anyway. I made Garry Conn dot Com from scratch, from extremely hard work and I can’t say that anyone superior or higher ranking than me gave me a helping hand. While I’ll admit, I have made friends and contacts during this time, but never once has anyone of a high authority helped me. Long story short, I don’t wish that on anyone. If you’ve got talent, you need to be recognized for that and done so very quickly. Holding people back lessens the global quality of the niche in which you publish on.

How To Apply?

This is the simple part. I invested some time into learning how many other people screen for acceptance and I have to say, “wow!” they sure do require quite a bit from applicants. As you may or may not know, I really place a lot of value of individual’s time. Time is something that people can’t ever get back. Needless to say, I am not wanting to waste a lot of your time. I want to make the screening process as simple and as easy for you as possible.

Send me a direct email to GarryConn@Gmail.com with the subject line of: Guest Blogging Position.

Briefly explain to me what you’d like to publish content on my blog.

Explain to me the topics that you would like to write about.

Provide me with already published or written examples of your writing related to the topics you’d like to cover on my blog.

Do I Get Paid For This?

No. I am giving you access to publish content on an established blog that has been online for two years that has a following of people that exceeds 1,000 subscribers. Other blogs of this caliper charge money for this service. I am providing it for free so that you have a way to get an accelerated rate of name recognition and exposure.

Who Retains Rights To The Content?

I do. When you transmit and publish content onto the GARRYCONN.COM domain name, I will retain rights to the content and it will become my intellectual property. By accepting a guest blogger position you also accept that the content published becomes my property. While I don’t have the intention towards editing or modifying your content, I need to make it crystal clear that your time invested in publishing content on my blog is strictly for the purpose of building up your name and expanding your readership to your own blog. Garry Conn dot Com will publicly acknowledge you as the writer of the content and you will be rewarded with gaining more exposure and name recognition along with direct links pointing back to your own blog.

How Does Garry Conn dot Com Help Me Grow?

If approved to be a guest blogger on Garry Conn dot Com, you will be assigned a login username and password. WordPress assigns each account with an ID#. Your id number will be used to automatically display a 75×75 square avatar directly to the right side of your post titles. This avatar will automatically hyperlink to your blog. Your id number will also be used to automatically display your author name directly below the post title which acknowledges you as the author of the article and is also automatically made to hyperlink direct back to your blog. Additionally, at the bottom of each article you publish, you will have a graphical signature 234×60 in size that will too automatically display and hyperlink back to your blog.

Who Can Apply?

Anyone! and I seriously mean that. So many people that I talk to get nervous, shocked, or amazed that I would invest the time into speaking with them. I don’t understand why? Many people are nervous to approach me or even ask me direct questions. While my blog has gained some levels of popularity, I am still just a normal average guy. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, you need to contact me without having reservations or being nervous. If it would help you feel more comfortable and help break the ice, I invite and encourage you to speak with a few of my online friends:

The above online friends have all made previous guest appearances on my blog and will be happy to share their experiences with you related to our professional relationship and well as the quality of their experience publishing on the blog.

Comments, Suggestions, Questions?

I encourage you to provide me with your feedback. You can contact me directly or use the comment form below. Don’t be shy, I would love to have my inbox filled with applications. Send me a direct email to GarryConn@Gmail.com. I’d also like to know if you’d be interested in doing this on a regular basis. Ideally, I am looking more for the long term but will consider helping out people who’d like to get just one or two posts included.

I few days ago was speaking to a fellow blogger friend and Instant message buddy, Forest Parks from The Random Forest. We were simply chatting about random things as I was working my tail off submitting an article into many of the popular social bookmarking and networking sites. Having caught wind of what I was doing, Forest sent me a message that just totally made my day and has totally saved me a ton of time with submitting my posts into all these social bookmarking and networking sites. Thanks to him, this post will show you what he showed me.

SocialMarker.com

SocialMarker.com is a site that allows you to quickly and easily submit your posts and articles into 46 of the most popular social bookmarking and social networking sites on the Internet all in one bulk shot. While it doesn’t do what I have been wanting and visioning in my mind for a long time, I’ll admit that it is very close and its a lot better than doing things manually.

My dream software is to have a program – preferably a desktop application – that allows me to fill out a Title, Description, Category and Title tag field and push the submit button. From there this program would then automatically submit my information into all the social bookmarking and networking sites. While this animal doesn’t exist (at least I don’t think it does… drop me a comment and let me know otherwise) from what I see SocialMarker.com is close… very close!

SocialMarker.com is very similar to what my dream software application would be, but there are a few minor differences. For one, its web based. Nothing wrong with that, its just a matter of personal preference. However, the real similarities in SocialMarker.com and my dream software are very close.

With Socialmarker.com, you simply fill out the form as shown above. You need to enter in a nice looking title, provide the URL of the post or article you’re submitting, include some very well researched tags for search engine marketing purposes and most importantly, include a well written description of the post or article you’re submitting.

The next step is the fun part: Choosing which social bookmarking or networking sites to submit your article or post into. As you can see in the above screen shot, it is just a matter of checking the box on the sites you’d like to submit your article or post into.

A very handy feature that SocialMarker.com provides are the pre-selection links found on the top of this section. They are highlighted in yellow on the above screen shot.

Your options are to hand pick individual networks, to select all, choose only News, choose only Bookmarking or choose only DOFOLLOW for scoring search engine friendly backlinks.

Once you have chosen the sites you’d like to have your article or post submitted into, simply click the submit button on the top right of the screen. What happens next is amazing and will literally save you tons of time!

You click the screen shots below to view full size:

The above screen shots show you live examples of how I quickly submitted a post in Digg, Propeller and made an entry into Twitter. These are only 3 of the 46 available sites that you can quickly submit your article or post into.

SocialMarker.com automatically fills out as much of the online form for each network as possible. There are many submissions that don’t require any edits or manually entries at all! Simply click the “Submit” button and then the “Next” button. Each time you click the “Next” button, SocialMarker.com automatically loads the next page and auto fills as much of the information as possible in the submission form of the next social bookmarking or social networking site.

The great thing about SocialMarker.com is the fact that it does not require a registration of any kind. You do not have to create a username/ password and you don’t have to join anything. The program works purely without the need to register for their service. If you choose to have your web browser to remember your username and passwords for all the social networking and bookmarking sites, then as you keep clicking the “Next” button you’ll be automatically logged into the site you’re submitting the article or post into. I would recommend allowing your web browser to remember your usernames and passwords so that you can quickly roll through all the submissions without having to take the extra step to log in each time.

What about Plugins?

SocialMarker.com has a WordPress plugin available. I have downloaded it and have started installing it on many of my blogs. The plugin works like a charm and it allows for your own readers to utilize their service. Most WordPress plugins I have used in the past allow readers to individually submit your content into the social bookmarking and social networking sites. By providing your readers with the SocialMarker.com plugin, you allow them the option of submitting your content in to multiple networks – up to 46 currently.

Overall, if you use the SocialMarker.com plugin, you’re giving your readers an easy way to do more for you in much less time. Long story short, this will help you increase traffic and gain even more readers to your blog. If you don’t have a WordPress blog, or don’t want to install their plugin, SocialMarker.com also provides a direct javascript code that you can install instead.

All in all, I think SocialMarker.com is awesome. It doesn’t quite fit the glove perfect in relation to my dream desktop application; however, it is very close and indeed, it does save me a ton of time and it will save you a ton of time too.

One last thing that I would like to add a comment on. When I visit SocialMarker.com, it is very clear that they are seeking donations. Their site has some Google AdSense ads on it and there are a few donation buttons on the site. While this is a totally free service, I can strongly see how the creators would like to gain some compensation for the creation of this masterpiece.

I’d like for you to help. If you can’t donate any money, that is understandable. Some people can’t afford to spend money on extra things, even more donate money. However, you do have a blog and writing a post about SocialMarker.com will have a huge impact on increasing their exposure. If you really enjoy using SocialMarker.com, do what I did and write a blog post about it. I think SocialMarker.com is a wonderful service and I believe that it will help my readers a lot. If you feel the same, then tell all your friends about SocialMarker.com too.

What Do You Think?

I am very into this whole social bookmarking and social networking thing. I have totally seen a difference in traffic when I submit content into these bookmarking and networking sites. What do you think about all the hype regarding social bookmarking and social networking? Has it been working for you? Do you have friends in these networks? Do you all work together to help each other out? What do you think about SocialMarker.com? Give it a try and please be sure to provide your feedback about the program, it can only help others decide on what’s best for them. Share your thoughts using the comment form on this post.

I have been writing posts about Micro Niche Finder and providing quite a bit of information about the product for about six months now. I am pretty busy today so I don’t have a lot of time to write a long and drawn out post, but I did want to jump on the blog for a few seconds and blast out this message.

I just received an email from James Jones that informed me that the price of Micro Niche Finder will be increasing from $67 dollars to $97 dollars in less than a week.

The reason for the price increase is because James is about to release the new version to the general public. When I purchased Micro Niche Finder it was version two. I granted the ability to update to version 3 and I have to say that I am very impressed.

For those who have already purchased Micro Niche Finder, you can upgrade to version 3 at no charge. Just check your dash board panel for “Update Micro Niche Finder”.

For those who haven’t already purchased Micro Niche Finder but have been kind of on the fence about doing it, now is the time to do it. Otherwise you’re going to to be spending an additional $30 bucks.

I know quite a few of my readers who have been on the fence due to being hesitant to invest the $67 bucks. However, now if you don’t purchase the program you’re going to be spending even more money when you do decide to order.

I totally enjoy this program. I back it up 110%. I use it everyday. I believe that Micro Niche Finder is worth every penny of $97 dollars. However, why pay that much when you can order it right now for only $67 dollars?

Visit the Micro Niche Finder home page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and submit your name and email address. James will then automatically email you and send you a video demo and references on how to order Micro Niche Finder.

I would really hate to see people who are interested in Micro Niche Finder end up paying $30 more than what is needed. This is honestly a very small window of opportunity and I am very thankful that James is offering this.
