Join us May 31st!

On May 31st Gateway to Science, along with over 20 local sponsors, will host the Summer Reading Kick-Off on the Bismarck Capitol Grounds. From 10am to 2pm, the public is invited to stop by and be motivated to become better readers over the summer. Zoo animals, gold panning by Gateway to Science, face painting, archaeological digs, fossil identification, large construction trucks for viewing and more will be available!       I came across this picture earlier this week. What a powerful image! To society, Legos® have become a toy for “boys”. However, what child does not like playing with Legos®, boy or girl? Pink Legos® do not mean they are ”girl-friendly”. Any color Lego® is meant for both GIRLS and BOYS.  Gateway to Science invites you to get rid of this stereotype. Sign your girl up for any of our Lego® Explorer camps this summer.

      Gateway to Science is offering a Legos® for Girls camp August 5-7 from 1-4:30 daily. This is a camp designed exclusively for girls. Don’t expect pink Legos®!  Instead, we are offering a setting that is exclusively for the builder in all females. The camp is not intended to single out females, but instead to allow the opportunity to not be the “only girl” having fun in the room! If you are entering grades 3-6 this coming fall, you do not want to miss this camp! Register by following this link.
