Those with different gender orientations do, as well. Our podcast today talks about: The 4 general types of people who are affected by how Deuteronomy 22:5 is translated – and how most of them are actually straight. Why even people who have what mainstream culture accepts as a “normal” gender orientation are still affected by mistranslations of Deuteronomy 22:5. Why misunderstanding God’s rules against idolatry continue to mean misunderstanding what God put into the Mosaic Law. Who Deuteronomy 22:5 applied to -- and whyWhat God actually said in Deuteronomy 22:5 – versus what human translators have said He said. More ways human translators insert their own ideas, prejudices, and more into the Bible as if they came right from God. Why taking God at His literal word, in His literal context, as given to the original hearers of Scripture, is the greatest way to prevent theological fraud – and God-rejection.
