How To Format A Hard Drive To FAT32 In Windows 7 or Vista (or in general)

If you haven't noticed one huge change with Windows 7 is that FAT32 is no longer an option when formatting drives. You are now left with the options of either NTFS or exFAT. OK so your asking what is exFAT? Well its not FAT32, actually its compatible with FAT64.

How To Use Google Translate as a Free Anonymous Proxy - Access Restricted Sites

I thought this was intresting but I never tried it (found it here: Click)

Free Google Proxy!

Access restricted web sites using Google language tools service as a proxy.

A little tutorial found on inspired me for this hack. That tutorial suggests to translate a web page, using Google Translator, to access it even if restricted. It worked fine but something else was needed... why translate?

Ever want to send someone a youtube video link where you only want them to see a specific part and not the whole thing?

Here's how:

Add the following hash to the end of the link: "#t=1m20s" where "m" = the minutes and "s" = the seconds.
For example heres a video that is 1 minute and 45 seconds long, I only want to show the part that begins at 1 minute and 19 seconds till the end.

Full video link looks like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p7jEVkbyBd4

How To Fix an Overheating Laptop (WITHOUT having to take it apart!)

I recently was repairing a few problems with a Toshiba Satellite laptop (L305D-S5938 in this particular case) for someone and was getting nowhere real fast, because it overheated if you just looked at it funny. The second something normal caused the fan to get a little louder, *poof*, off it went; just shut right off in the middle of whatever you were doing. And on top of that, when it wasn't shutting off, it just took foreverrrrr to do anything. Anything.

My firewall popped up a bit ago asking if I wanted to allow WSQMCONS.EXE to connect to the internet but I don't know what it is. I don't want to let it connect in case it's a virus or some kind of Malware, so I blocked it. Does anyone know what WSQMCONS.EXE is?

How To Set A Program To Run As "Administrator"

Very often these days we need to manually choose to run a program as the computer's "Administrator" (or "Admin" for short). What this is for is so that the program is able to perform certain actions that it normally cannot do when not being run as the Administrator. One example (of many) is to perhaps start and / or stop a Windows Service. There are 2 ways do do this, one is a temporary "one time use way", and the other is the permanent way.

The "temporary" way is meant to be used if you only really need to run the program as Admin one time, or just every so often.

GeekDrop App: VMWare Custom Launcher to Start and Kill It's Services

Alright, so if there's one thing that is a pet peeve of mine is when a software app installs a bunch of Windows services and then leaves them running at all times, even when no part of the program is being used. I come from as far back as Windows 3.1 (probably just gave away my age a bit there) where smart computer users tried to have as few programs eating up your RAM (memory) as possible.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has issued a voluntary recall for 22,000 notebook computers due to a burn hazard.

The CPSC is concerned that some of the Acer Aspire-series products, manufactured in China by Acer America Corp. of San Jose may short circuit and overheat.

hello i am posting this anonymous because its embarrassing but id love some advice. i saw my fiance's cell phone statement and hes been texting and talking on the phone to a strange number alot. I did my homework and found out its a girl that we both know. We have a young daughter together so i had installed a keylogger on our homecomputer a while ago to keep tabs on herand make sure she stays out of trouble. I noticed a couple of the texts they sent mentioned sending some pictures to his email so with the keylogger information i logged into his email to see if i could find them.

So have you ever had your F2 editing button stop working? (I use mine a lot for editing cells in Excel). For the longest time mine had stopped working and well I had just given up on it. Now I've realized that there is an F Lock key so I just pressed it again and there ya go, my F2 is working again!! Woot!
