So sad. I used Prescriptives online until they even closed that down.. The facial cleanser came is such a large tube and one needed to use so little that I just finally ran out in 2026 ! I remember going into the Prescriptives counter in my favourite department store looking for their eye cream (remember the one that came in a tube with a silver tip that stayed cold without being in the fridge and reduced under-eye puffiness immediately ?) RIP. However, it was their facial serum that was my primary savior and when, even online, they kept increasing the cost I'd try something else and my face always fell apart. When Lauder stupidly shut the brand down entirely, they sent me so many free tubes of their mascara that I will never run out, but no dice getting any of the other facial products or my perfectly matching light weight foundation. Grrrrrrr. After trying other serums I finally bit the bullet and ordered the Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair serum and found it to be an exact match for Prescriptives version and it restored my very very dry skin despite using other moisturizers over it, but at $125 rather than Prescriptives' $80 a bottle, and without the Prescritives curved dropper that let me get the last drop out of the bottle. (I saved some, and still substitute for the ridiculously short Lauder version) I've tried other Lauder products....eye creams, moisturizers....none worth the $$$$ except for the Night Repair serum, which I can't go without. Plus I've had really bad reactions to their pricey under eye creams. So far though, I've found NOTHING to replace Prescriptives' facial wash, particularly not the ultra-fragrant, drying, and skin-irritating free large tubes of the Estee Lauder version that they often send me as a gift when I order their serum. Grrrr. This is an old blog post, but maybe someone will miraculously post with a dupe. BTW, I just turned 80 and have almost no wrinkles or sagging, without surgery. Due to my super-dry skin and after several years living in the dry plateaus of Central Asia, I've religiously applied products before sleep and moisturizer in the morning since I was in my mid-20s. I recommend it.....Now if only I could find a new foaming facial cleanser that worked as well as Prescriptives All Clean, the dry skin version.
