Dildo – Splash

This weeks dildo pick is the Tantus Splash. Prior to my romp with the Drac by Fleshlight, I had had no experience whatsoever with texture, or dildos for that matter! After asking around a bit about which dildo was a good place to start when playing around with texture, I was recommended to try the Splash. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this toy, and Tantus toys in general.

Dildo – Ella

My pick for this weeks second dildo selection is the Ella by LELO. I only own one other LELO toy, at the moment, the Iris, and although it didn’t do much for my g-spot, it is a great toy. After reading review of the Ella, I simply had to have one. Not only is it beautiful, but it apparently does its job amazingly well!

Bullet – High Intensity Bullet

This weeks bullet pick is the High Intensity Bullet by Cal Exotics. Honestly I have never owned a bullet in my life, and I haven’t really had too much interest in changing that. When I found out, however, that there are some bullets out there that really pack a punch, I decided it was time to start looking more into them. Because I’ve never had a bullet before, I really don’t want to pay a lot for something I may end up never enjoying much, so the High Intensity Bullet seems to be the best choice of power and price for me.

Luxury Item – Pure Wand

My luxury item pick for the week is the Pure Wand by nJoy. If it weren’t for the price tag on this baby, I would already own it! It is supposed to be an amazing toy for g-spot stimulation and the giver of many very intense orgasms. I have read so many reviews raving about this toy, that it has placed the Pure Wand at the top of every other item I want. I NEED TO OWN THIS!

Misc Item – Japanese Clover Clamps

This weeks misc item pick goes to the Japanese Clover Clamps. Here’s the deal, I used to have CRAZY sensitive nipples, but as of late, it really takes a lot for me to even be able to feel anything in them at all. I don’t know what the deal is or what made the sensitivity change, but interaction with my nipples used to be a major turn on. In the hopes of maybe getting a little bit of anything in the way of feeling, I have started to look into clamps. If these don’t work, I may just get them pierced to see if that does anything!

The Black Box comes in two sizes, a normal size, referred to as the “Classic Black Box,” and a smaller version named the “Little Black Box.” The “Classic Black Box” goes for $85 total ($78 plus $7 for shipping), while the “Little Black Box” is $45 total ($38 plus $7 for shipping). Not having seen what is ACTUALLY inside one of these boxes, the big or small version, I am not sure how I feel about the price, but they do not seem so unreasonable that I would not try them. As far as purchasing these boxes go, you can choose from three different options for either size. The “plans” are a 3 month or 6 month subscription where you will receive one of these goody boxes in the mail every other month. So you will either be getting 3 boxes a year or 6 boxes a year. If you are unsure about it, you can get the “one time” box where they will ship you either the Classic Black Box or the Little Black Box once.

Use

The Drac by Fleshlight is a beautiful dildo made for vaginal stimulation, but the flared ball shaped base allows you to safely use it for anal as well. This toy was great for playing with solo as well as with my boyfriend. We did not use it on him, but he loved using it on me. I do not have a harness to test it out on, so I am not sure if it is harness compatible. Also, this is a toy that would be enjoyed by someone who enjoys something with a little more girth to it.

Material / Texture

The Drac is made out of 100% silicone, a 10 on the EF safety scale, making it hypo-allergenic, non-porous, and latex/phthalates free.

The Drac’s texture is very unique. The shaft of the dildo features a repeated wing sort of texture that run down the length of the shaft. In addition to the wing pattern on the shaft, the entire dildo features many small bumps. These small bumps remind me of goosebumps in that they are not large or raised high, but they are there. The Drac is flexible, but not overly so. When you try to press down on the toy, there is not much give but you can easily bend this toy in your hand.

Personally I could only feel the wing texture a little bit, and as far as the bumps went, I couldn’t feel those at all. Although I did not feel them, this toy is very textured and I would warn against getting it if you are texture sensitive. If you like texture or it doesn’t affect you one way or the other, this toy is GREAT!

Because this toy is silicone, there is a bit of drag to it so you are going to want to make sure to use a bit of lube before you try stuffing yourself full of this thing. Unlike most of my other silicone toys, this one did have a little bit of a smell. It was very faint and you can only smell it when the dildo is right up to your nose, but it kind of has a burnt smell to it. I am not sure if this was intended, although I will admit that if it was on purpose the people at Fleshlight have a sense of humor. It would make sense for a dildo made to represent Dracula’s cock would smell like something aflame when brought out in daylight.

Design / Shape / Size

In my own imagination, this is not what I thought Dracula’s penis would look like, but I can deal with it looking like this! This dildo is a beautiful burgundy color and features wonderful texture. This is a realistic looking dildo in that it is shaped like a penis. It looks like a penis with subdermal implants due to its texture.

The Drac is an average length dildo measuring in at 7 1/2″ in total length, with 6″ of that being insertable. With a a circumference of 5 3/4″ and a diameter of 2″, this toy is a little girthy and may not appeal to all because of that. Though this toy is a bit on the girthy side, the head is slightly smaller than the shaft making for easy insertion. Drac weighs in at 1.5 lbs giving it a bit of heft, but it will not make you feel like you are getting a great work out while thrusting either. Because of the girthy-ness of this toy, I would definitely NOT recommend this toy for a beginner. Although it’s girth did not make me feel stretched out (it did make me feel nice and full, however), this toy is bigger than the average penis as far as circumference and diameter go, so test the waters with something smaller if a bit of girth is not your cup of tea.

I am not sure that I would travel with this toy if my only option was to pack it in my purse or some other small carry-on bag, as it is not the smallest of toys. Being shaped exactly like a penis, there is no way someone will mistake it for anything other than a dildo. That being said, it is not so big that it is hard to store. If you have a place for other dildos, you can find a place for this one.

Performance

There really isn’t anything I didn’t like about this dildo. Being my first I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised by the Drac. The flexibility of this toys is perfect. It is stiff enough not to flop around, but it is bendable enough to get it into just the right spots.

As I mentioned before, the texture didn’t do much for me. It wasn’t that it was unpleasant, it just seemed to be nonexistent once it was inserted into my vagina. I was hoping I would be able to feel all of the lovely texture while I was playing with it, but no such luck. Although I could not feel the texture, the head of this toy did a wonderful job of hitting and stimulating my G-spot. I usually need a little bit of a curve to hit my G-spot, but this toy bends just enough to give me the ability to put this baby where I need it.

I was a little intimidated when I was ordering this dildo. As I said, it is my first and even though I knew it would be a bit on the girthy side, I loved the way it looked so much, I just had to have it. Once I got it and opened it up I was a little surprised because it wasn’t nearly as big as I thought it would be. This is not a complaint by any means, I guess it just proves that one person’s idea of “huge” and another’s can be completely different. In the past I have had other toys that have been called “girthy” and they were HUGE. So much so, that I didn’t even attempt to force them into what I thought was a much smaller hole. When I inserted this dildo for the first time, I was actually surprised at how it felt. Apparently the Drac and my boyfriend have similar measurements in terms of girth. Just as my boyfriend does, this dildo gave me a nice full feeling, which I LOVE.

Packaging

The Drac comes in a cardboard box with a window on the front allowing you to see the toy. On the right side of the box is a full sized picture of the dildo, while on the right side is the “Drac” logo. The back of the box features pictures of all of the other dildos in the Fleshlight Freaks series. If you were hoping that the box would present you with more information on the toy beyond a basic description, you may be disappointed. The only information anywhere, inside or out, of this toy is a general description on the back. When you open the box and take the toy out it is set in a black plastic holder which the dildo fits into perfectly. There’s a clear plastic over on top, which also fits the dildo. The box and plastic holders are sturdy enough to use as storage for this toy, though I find that the box is a little too big and it is easier to find another means of storage for the Drac.

Experience

The Fleshlight Drac is my first dildo, it is also my first venture into texture. I love this dildo!! For me the texture was not overwhelming, which I was worried about. This dildo is a bit girthy, but I didn’t find that to be a problem as I am use to a little more girth. I would not recommend the Drac as a first dildo for everyone because of the texture and girth, but if you are into either or both of those this… BUY THIS RIGHT NOW!
