CDMA Nokia Lumia 800 Headed To China In March

Nokia launched the Lumia 800 in Europe at the end of last year, the handset is due to go on sale in the US shortly, although this will be the GSM version and now it looks like a CDMA version is on the works.

According to a recent report China Telecom will be selling a CDMA Nokia Lumia 800 in March, which could mean that a CDMA version will be headed to the US in the future which would be available from both Verizon and Sprint.

Not surprisingly Activision has already announced that they are currently in full production of the next Call of Duty game. Which will be the ninth in the series and will be arriving in November 2012.

As well as the new Call of Duty game which Activision announced during the company’s quarterly earnings call. A new Call of Duty Elite 2.0 service is expected to roll out at the same time and is currently in development by Activision.

Bowers & Wilkins has introduced a couple of new mini theatre systems to its range this week in the form of the MT-50 and MT-60D. The MT-50 mini theatre system will set you back around £1,100 for five M-1 satellites and the MT-25′s ASW608 subwoofer. While the more expensive MT-60D costs around £1,950 for five M-1s and a PV1D subwoofer.

Starting with the MT-50 this system is shipped with the brand new M1 satellite speakers, which are equipped with a new port on the rear of each alongside all-new drive units. Bowers & Wilkins have included a new tweeter and bass/mid-range driver inside each, that allows the speakers to work as well in a stereo pairing as with 5.1 surround sound set up, say Bowers & Wilkins.

Samsung has announced their first Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, which is the successor to the original Galaxy Tab, and is expected to be cheaper than the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 comes with a 7 inch multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, there is also a dual core 1GHz processor and 1GB of RAM.

We first heard about the LG Optimus 3D 2 back in January, when a render and some specifications of the device were revealed and now another photo along with some more information on the LG Optimus 3D have been revealed.

The photo below shows the new LG Optimus 3D, which is expected to be slimmer than the existing model, measuring just 9.8mm thick, and around 20g lighter.

We have been hearing lots of rumors that Apple would be launching a new HDTV this year, and now it would appear that they also intend to launch a new version of their Apple TV set top box.

According to the guys from 9 to 5 Mac, references to a new Apple TV 3, which is codenamed J33 and Apple TV 3,1 have been discovered in iOS 5.1, and it may feature Apple’s new A6 processor.

The very impressive Lego pneumatic robotic arm has been built by Max Shepard, and has been constructed to accurately mimic the full range of motion of a normal human arm and hand. The amount of weight the Lego pneumatic arm can lift is limited to the shape of the object and orientation of the wrist and elbow, but in its current construction state this is limited to just a couple of pounds.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich come with support for Bluetooth and USB peripherals, plus HDMI, so Christian Qantrell decided to see what it would be like using his Galaxy Nexus as a desktop computer.

The video below shows Christian’s Galaxy Nexus hooked up to an external monitor, and connected to an Apple keyboard and Trackpad, and he wanted to replicate desktop functions on the device without any hacking and just using normal equipment.

They will be putting in a request to purchase tablets soon. The idea is to lighten their pilots’ loads. It is speculated that the Air Force might be requesting as many as 18,000 of the devices.

The rumor on the street is that Amazon will be launching a new Kindle Fire in 2012. One that is larger then the first. There may be some actual solid reasoning behind this one. Back before the Fire’s launch, there was a leak that detailed two tablets from Amazon. One was codenamed “Coyote,” an entry-level tablet with a dual-core processor. We know that this one was released in 2011. However, the other tablet, codenamed “Hollywood,” was much more interesting and would feature a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3.
