Creating Rounded Corners with GIMP

This article was created for my own purpose titled Creating Curved or Rounded Corners with GIMPa free, open source image editing and manipulation program.

The easiest way to create an image with rounded corners is to open your image,choose Select from the top,and choose Rounded Rectangle.You can adjust the 'Radius' to make the curves and also you can make concave curves also.Gimp will automatically create a rounded rectangle selection on top of your image.

When you choose the Rounded Rectangle tool under Selection, you will get the option to adjust the radius & for concave. This will be a trial and error process for you as there is no way to preview your radius selection.

Now choose Select -> Invert (Ctrl+I), then Edit -> Cut (Ctrl+X), then File -> Save As… (Ctrl+Shift+S) to delete the corner pieces. This eliminates the need to create a new image to paste into, which can be a time saver if you are working with many image.

After selecting the radius

Invert (Ctrl+I)

Cut (Ctrl+X)

At this point we are ready to design our XHTML with rounded corner images.

This is my design on business.I started focussing to design business templates.It has passed XHTML 1.0 strict & css level 2.1 validations.I have checked the template in IE 7 & mozilla firefox browsers.The template is having two column fixed layout with left navigation.The site looks simple.My next site will be general one or towards nature.Planning to do blogger Templates very soon!!!

After a long gap i have did a template for healthcenter like hospitals etc.TThis template has passed XHTML 1.0 Strict! & CSS level 2.1.In this template i have used some fonts like trajan pro.if the client system is having this fonts it will come in good manner else by default i have given arial.This template i s a fluid two column layout.Thanks for the visitors for supporting the site

Hi i also had the same problem my applications will be running in localhost but when i use IIS or apache it will throw the error String was not recognized as a valid DateTime.After a lot of search i finally got the solution

just declare ur date field as

System.DateTime str_date=DateTime.Parse(sel3.Text,System.Globalization.CultureInfo.
CreateSpecificCulture("en-AU").DateTimeFormat);

I hope it will work fine in ur application

How to select the checkboxes inside the Gridviewcontrol

After seraching many forums and websites i have developed my project by using this code.
Now in the button click event write this code which i have attached in blog as image:

Note:1.If u want to have StringBuilder then u have to include the namespace Using.System.Text
2.If u want to delete the datas after getting the Id then u should rewrite the code as

so that u will get the output.For ex:1,2,(inorder to delete from database)
other wise if u use
str.Append(GridView1.Rows[i].Cells[2].Text);
u will get the output as 12.

All you need to do is to override the VerifyRenderingInServerForum event as I have shown below.

After that if it shows the error

Control 'Gridview1' of type 'GridView' must be placed inside a form tag with runat=server

Before writing connection string to ur C#.net applications
First include System.Data.SqlClient Namespace

The System.Data.SqlClient namespace is the .NET Framework Data Provider for SQL Server.
