I guess it has been part of every culture to give gifts and presents during special occasions like birthdays, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day, graduations, anniversaries and the list can actually go on and on. We are always finding excuses to give gifts, may that be as simple as a card and a birthday cake or as lavish as a 3-day trip to the celebrants birthday destination or an expensive jewelry. I guess it is part of our nature to be giving. It is also our way of showing that person how much we value and appreciate them. In fact for the numerous gifts we have sent, we sometimes run out of ideas what to give next. I bet I am not the only one who experienced this and I know a lot of you have also scoured the internet for bright confirmation gift ideas and the likes.

Just because I am a mom busy with my mothering duties 24/7, my career and a whole lot of other important stuff that a modern woman like me needs to take care of does not mean I should sacrifice my sense of style and my fashion sense. Even though I can be like a spinning top not knowing which task to do first, I can still go about my affairs looking good and feeling good about myself. And thanks for fashion clothes at DailyLook.com and other online sites, I don’t need to sacrifice style in the name of frugality and practicality, either. If I know exactly where to go, I can still wear the latest fashion trends without burning a hole in my pocket, or worse, my husband’s!

I bought a can of sweet milk and a pack of coffee in our nearest store last night. When I gave my 1,000 bank note, he scrutinized the note meticulously to determine if it’s fake or not. I can assure him it’s not fake coz I just withdrawn it from the ATM. I can’t blame him because a warning has been issued in Hatyai City that 1,000 fake bank notes has circulated the city since a street vendor was victimized last week.

The police said you can detect the fakes from the real ones by looking at the size, the color and feeling, the texture of bank note. The fake banknotes are smaller in size than the real one and when you pour water on the fake ones the color will fade.

The authentic Thai government banknotes uses a paper which is tougher because It is printed on special paper and has a holographic strip on the left side. These are the only genuine Thai banknotes.

There are deals available on trips to the Dominican Republic right now that give families, as well as couples or groups of friends, every chance of lining up a holiday of life time, with so much to see and experience. You’ll no doubt already be well aware that the Dominican Republic like just about everywhere in the Caribbean boasts some spectacular beaches and beautiful views out to sea. What you might not know so much about is the history of the country and its sites of cultural interest.

The country is in fact dotted with places where history and culture combines with wonderful surroundings to create something close to paradise for tourists and holidaymakers. Add to all that the fact that there are a wide range of excellent hotels and resorts for visitors to choose from and you can see why Dominican Republic vacations are so popular with tourists from across the US and Europe.

Among the more amazing destinations well worth a look in the Dominican Republic is the Gri Gri Lagoon, where there are all manner of mangroves and rare examples of unfamiliar wildlife. The Brugal Rum Distillery is a fascinating place to visit as well but in general the entire country is packed with attractions and offers a near-endless assortment of delights.

What makes for the perfect vacation is a matter of opinion but plenty of sunshine, a warm welcome, a plethora of great places to eat and beaches as pleasant as any in the world all mean that the Dominican Republic sets the bar very high indeed. You can book a Thomas Cook package holiday to anywhere in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean or beyond in a matter of minutes these days and added discounts are offered simply for using the internet to place your booking.

It’s all in a sudden! My brother and his family moved from a rented room to a 3-room house. Little did I know that a proposal was made up to stay together in their spacious house for personal and practical reasons. We gave up the rented house we grow to love for a year and handed it over for couples who are very excited to have this place to call their own.

When our internet connection was transferred last May 19, we officially moved. Thanks to a dear friend who helped us moved all our things in a flash! Imagine for just a day, she’s able to make our old house spic-and-span that impressed the landlady and the new occupants. I’m left with all our things stocked in the store room waiting for Saturday to come in order to finish on arranging them. So far, we’re living harmoniously.

On the other hand, our desktop computer gave up on me! It won’t be turned on. It needs to be brought to HP service center. We need at least two weeks to wait for it to be repaired:( This means, lesser time for me to post.

Egypt Holidays: I Wanna Explore Ancient Egypt

Have you ever read the Old Testament especially about the story of Joseph and Moses? Have you watched the adventures of Indiana Jones, Lara Croft or the movie “The Mummy”? If you did then aren’t you mesmerized of the mystique and antiquity possessed by the country, Egypt? No wonder Egypt is known as the cradle of civilization.

If given a chance to travel around the word, I want to choose egypt holidays. I want to see an actual pyramid, to marvel at the most breathtaking architectural works in all of history, to enter one and explore the exciting tunnels and chasms within and visit the tomb of an ancient king and inspecting priceless pieces of ancient Egyptian culture!

Thanks to the power of internet. You can now plan your tour and holidays at the comfort of your room. You could even compare prices and book your flight in a matter of minutes. All you have to do is look for reputable travel agents sites. Your affordable and wonderful journey begins now with a single click. Isn’t it?

Don’t forget in your itineraries a visit to The Great Pyramid at Giza . It’s the only one of the seven wonders that is still standing today, other than Jedward’s hair. Include too a tour to Saqqara (Step) Pyramids, the Citadel, an Islamic market called Khan el-Khalili, as well as other markets, churches and museums, all in Cairo. In Luxor, the must-see landmarks would be at least one or two of the many fine monuments and tombs found on the West Bank, which will prove to be welcome escapes from the heat of the city. Make sure to also visit the Luxor and Karnak temples and the highly popular Luxor museum, all on the East Bank. Ride the bus between Luxor and Aswan, as these trips usually have stopovers at popular, historic monuments along the way. In Aswan, you could tour Elephantine Island, the Nubian museum and the unfinished Obelisk, the High Dam and St. Simon’s Monastery. If you have an extra day to spare, you could also visit the temples of Abu Simbel, and have more time to see Aswan’s many other attractions.

I’m quite interested to join a religious tours – such as the Holy Family route and the Exodus route, as well as tours of Islamic mosques. I can just imagine Moses leading the chosen people out of Egypt as I follow in their steps.

This Ancient Egypt holiday is the ideal vacation for the adventurous , the curious at heart, and a great educational trip for the entire family, especially if you have around two weeks to spare.

For us, this will be extra busy because we’re moving…again! I’ll spare you with the details on why. This calls for another post. What I’m happy about with this move is it’s still in the same peaceful and friendly neighborhood, wider space, bigger bathroom with bathtub, kitchen inside the house , storage room (you know most apartments here in Hatyai City don’t have kitchen area!) and it’s just right across from our present house! We’ll moved out as soon as our internet connection will be transferred. But today, we’re going to move our things which we won’t use until our remaining days like most of our clothing, shoes, luggage and leather briefcase, potted plants, appliances, furniture and other household knickknacks.
