I have been too quiet here. I have finally decided that I should continue to blog with my mobile shots here rather than keeping them on Instagram only. Oh well, I have been going out and around with my Huawei P8 mostly and I need to fully utilize the beautiful camera function on the phone.

This year’s Nine Emperor Gods Festival in Penang is great! I have been to this temple in Macallum Street, Penang almost every year. The name of the temple is Tow Boe Keong Kew Ong Tai Tay Temple. It is very famous and had a very strong history linked to the original temple in Magazine Road, Penang.

Putrajaya, The Third Federal Territory

I still have so much to learn on Long Exposure Photography. Putrajaya is a town with lots of nicely lit buildings during the night. The town is also pretty quiet and not crowded during the Christmas holidays.

It is a good place to do long exposure photography but I would not recommend if you’ll be travelling there alone. I think this will be my final work on geneoga.com for the year 2015. It’s been a great year and I am looking forward for more in the new year.

Penang Wesak Day 2015

Happy Wesak Day!

We are back with some of the amazing shots from the Wesak Day float procession in George Town, Penang.
This is the 7 km long float procession held annually in the evening of Wesak Day. The procession starts from the Malaysian Buddhist Association in Burmah Road, and makes its way through Jalan Pangkor, Jalan Kelawai, Lorong Burmah, Peel Avenue, Jalan Macalister, Jalan Anson and Lorong Madras before returning back to the Malaysian Buddhist Association in Burmah Road.

Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan

I had forgotten about these photos until I read about the recent announcement that The Leaning Tower of Teluk Intan is now a National Heritage. I think this should have been done much earlier.

It was a very fun trip to Teluk Intan. We don’t really have any idea on what to expect. The drive there took us much longer than expected. I guess we thought that Teluk Intan is not far away from Penang. We should have double check.

Krabi, Thailand 2015

Another Thailand province of Thailand checked. Krabi the land of crabs. They really have a Crab Monument. The beaches there are pretty awesome, if you know what I mean. We also enjoyed sunset on the beach.
