Host tip: run two decks. While one hand is being played, the next dealer shuffles the second deck. Pick two decks with different backs or colors so they never get mixed up, and the game moves noticeably faster.

Paper or plastic?

Most of the line comes in two versions. The Bicycle editions are printed by the United States Playing Card Company on the classic Bicycle paper stock that card players know by feel. The Black, Silver & Gold editions are 100% black PVC plastic: waterproof, wipeable, and hard to bend, with metallic silver and gold on black. Pick paper for the classic shuffle and plastic for poker nights, pools, beaches and anywhere drinks are involved.

Questions people ask

Can you play poker with these? Yes. They are full 52-card decks with standard ranks and suits, plus two Jokers. The plastic editions are the better choice for a regular poker night.
