Skins is not well know in Europe (except in the UK, of course), it just came out on DVD, and I think this might be the best teen drama show I’ve ever seen. Teen drama, yes, but It’s not targeted toward adolescents: the characters are teenagers, sure, but that’s it. Skins is often rated 18+ (12+ in France). The show is an emotional roller coaster, rushing through sad, hurtful, lonely and beautiful moments, filled with drugs, love, anger, sex, friendship, hate, … and dealing with issues like religion, sexuality, sickness, race, loss, … A wicked show. I’m hooked. Skins on TV.com

I can’t help being just a little disappointed about the iPhone 3GS. Sure, it’s a nice upgrade but I wanted a little more. Otherwise, really great keynote. Can’t wait for the new OSs.

I loved this movie! It came out in theatres when I was 8 or 9 and I remember that the VHS was in heavy rotation for a few years in our VCR with some of my other favorite movies at this time: The Goonies, Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, The Visitors (cult french movie), Home Alone, Ghostbusters, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Beetlejuice, Back to The Future II, Jurassic Park (I had a severe case of Dino Mania), Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, … Good times!

I hope my vote will defend free speech, clean energy, free trade, new and growing industries, … Unfortunately, most of the campaign in Belgium focused on petty details, because between Waloons and Flemish, it’s like our Facebook status is always set on “It’s complicated” and we’re not able to talk about something else.
Disney has announced that Pixar Animation will build a 20,000 square-foot animation studio in Vancouver, British Columbia. The studio is currently scouting locations in the city for the new facility, which will employ 75 to 100 people. The purpose of the Canada-based studio is to produce computer animated short films, which usually run anywhere from three to six minutes in length, and take 6 to 8 months to produce. Feature Films, all stereoscopic 3D work, and Post-Production will still continue to be done at the company’s main studio in Northern California. More on /Film.
New York City is the most photographed city on Earth – over 12 million of the photos analysed were snapped there.

Bizarrely, the team’s findings show that the fifth-most photographed place in the city is the Apple store in midtown Manhattan. (via New Scientist)
