The learning activity I envisage is DP Geography students watching and discussing a YouTube clip, such as a news clip or TED talk, and then taking that video and being challenged to add value to it.

The 'adding value' comes through remixing the content – adding links to online content, adding additional content as examples and case studies, adding loops of important phrases and adding geographical context using Google Maps.

I have had a go at modelling an example of a YouTube clip with 'added value' using the short Hans Rosling 'Rivers of Myths' clip.
