Broke out yesterday in the fourth reactor at the Fukushima nuclear plant, which led to the high level of radiation significantly. According to Japanese media sources that the fire was brought under control.

The authorities warned that the level of radiation around nuclear reactors pose a threat to public health, and called on people living within the radius of thirty kilometers Fukushima station to stay in their homes.

With the Tokyo Metropolitan Government announced that the level of radiation has exceeded the normal level this morning in the Japanese capital, pointing out that this level is very weak to influence human health.

And requested the European Commission in Brussels for an emergency meeting of the International Agency for Atomic Energy in Vienna next week to discuss international concerns of the possibility of a radiological disaster because of the explosions in the nuclear complex "Fukushima" in Japan.

Japan has requested international assistance to control the temperature rise in Fukushima station, and the danger now posed by the occurrence of a radiation leak, but Japanese officials say that risk is limited.

Officials in the nuclear field in the United States that the Japanese authorities requested them to provide advice on how to deal with the problem in the nuclear power plant, Japan has also extended a request for assistance to the International Atomic Energy Agency.

However, the President of the International Atomic Energy Agency IAEA, Yukiya Amano, has ruled out becoming a nuclear crisis in Japan to a second Chernobyl, in reference to the Chernobyl nuclear reactor disaster in the old Soviet Union.

While the Japanese authorities tried to calm the fears of its citizens after Altfjert, announced that the confirmed number of dead and missing from the earthquake and tsunami has risen to five thousand people dead or missing, and up to ten thousand.

Japanese police announced today that the confirmed number of dead and missing in the quake and subsequent tsunami has risen to five thousand people dead or missing, but local authorities fear the death toll exceeded ten thousand.

On the other hand, the Japanese authorities are trying to cooling nuclear reactors in Fukushima station after two explosions in and near the nuclear complex last authorities are struggling to cool the three reactors.

Earthquake in Japan Today

Morocco is a Northern African country, bordering the North Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, geography of Morocco spans from the Atlantic Ocean, to mountainous areas, to the Sahara (desert),

A large part of Morocco is mountainous. The Atlas Mountains are located mainly in the center and the south of the country. The Rif Mountains are located in the north of the country. Both ranges are mainly inhabited by the Berber people.

Morocco is characterized by a mild climate along the Mediterranean coast and the temperature rises in the interior in the summer while it gets really cold in winter. And in the highlands the temperature drops, sometimes I want to 10 below zero and snow covers the tops of the mountains most of the year. Rain falls mainly in winter and is most abundant in the northern regions of Western and intensity of fear in the eastern and southern.
There are no problems with the functioning of these systems but they will cost you a fortune and because of this reason alternate energy is not used widely in homes.

Here is where Power4Home is different from other products. With Power4Home you can put together a complete system for less than $200 and start generating your own power from it. This program is designed by John Russell who is an electrician by profession. Using his experience in the electric related industry, he has tried to make a system that would allow you to make your own energy with minimum amount of equipment and investment. He says that with his system he can teach you everything you need to know about generating your own electricity using wind and solar power. There is a 60 Days full money back guarantee if you do not like John Russel’s e-book.

The Power4Home system includes illustrated manuals that are not difficult to follow. There are also video instructions that you can follow. With this system you learn about 2 alternate renewable energy options: a DIY solar panel and a home windmill generator. After learning both you will be in a better position to decide which option is the best for you and is best according to the climate of where you are living. If you live in an area where there is sufficient sunlight then a solar panel is the better option and if your place has the right conditions for wind energy to work then you can go with the windmill option.

Using his experience he tells you about two devices that you can get from your electric company that normally cost 300$ and also gives information about a secret device that can cut your bill by another 40%.

Like other systems that are do it yourself (DIY), Power4Home will require a lot of your time and effort on you part. It’s understood that you have to be good with hand tools and wiring works. If you think you can follow the instructions given by John and build it yourself then fine otherwise you should outsource the work to a professional.

Power4Home is a system that allows you to create and store you own energy. This energy can be used to reduce your power bills. Solar and wind power systems normally cost $3,000 or more and even at that price they pay themselves off within a few years. The Power4Home system allows you to do the same for a fraction of that price.

Visit Power4Home.com

Jobs in Morocco

<img style="float: right; Your kids will certainly learn so much more than with traditional and usually boring bits of information from those dusty and heavy books.

Source:
http://www.articlesbase.com/gifts-articles/enjoy-geography-learning-with-the-monopoly-here-and-now-game-835477.html

هزة أرضية بقوة 4.1 درجات بإقليم العرائش

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5429301088896085154" style="DISPLAY: block; Climate Change
There is some global warming from vast amounts of anthropogenic or man made pollution. The industrial age brought about a lot of negative changes in the environment that are indisputable. Hot gasses entering the atmosphere for over a 100 years has caused a limited amount of climate change. Global cooling is a thorn in the side of those
who want to pass Cap and Trade legislation.

Sounds like I am totally in the global warming camp. Not so! People look at one side and do not give any credence to the other side of the debate. The Farmers Almanac has been predicting weather for a long time and they look at solar patterns, including sunspot activity as some of its major sources for their predicting model. Also, scientists from around the world are dissenting from the global warming side. Why? At least in part because there is convincing proof we are entering into a global cooling period. This global cooling period could last for ten years.

One of the strongest arguments given by climate change proponents is that ice cap melting and shrinking icebergs is solely the result of CO2 or other pollutants. If this were the only way ice melts than how come we are still not in the Ice Age? Natural cyclical weather changes is the answer. This proves that when we hear of icebergs melting or polar bears floating on ice it is not necessarily global warming that caused it. When the Ice Age ended the ice melted, therefore polar bears or other animals died in the process? Polar bear numbers are increasing in some parts of the world now and icebergs growing. Other areas there decreasing. This is how the cycles of weather have performed for centuries.

Is it possible global climate change could make icebergs melt faster? Yes, it is possible but why think icebergs never melted until now? This in a sense is what you are saying when cyclical weather changes are not considered when icebergs melt. Global warming is blamed for almost everything without taking other facts into account. Cyclical weather
changes is an indisputable fact while global warming needs much more study.

Racial geographies and the challenges of day labor formalization: a case study from San Diego

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_TR5kN3PNcqY/S0xkkKkUU3I/AAAAAAAAAL0/f_JqzJlvrl0/s400/san+diego.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5425822223549354866" />
Recent debates surrounding immigration in the United States have brought renewed attention to day laborers people who engage in informal and temporary employment in sectors such as construction, landscaping etc. While not necessarily the case, day laborers are typically portrayed as undocumented workers by the media and as 'illegals' by extreme anti-immigrant groups (for example, see recent documentary films such as Farmingville (2004) and The Invisible Chapel (2007)). Overall, day laborers and day labor conflicts have become one of the most visible faces of the ongoing immigration debate. Yet, the growth of day labor and the expansion of day labor hiring sites into almost every metropolitan area and all regions of the United States (Valenzuela et al. 2006) are important to geographers for reasons outside of the immigration debate.

The visibility of day labor and the appearance of day labor hiring sites raise new questions and debate about public space and its 'proper' use. The establishment of a new day labor hiring site often creates a locational conflict a conflict over the right to space (Mitchell 2003). The community tensions and conflicts created by day labor are disputes over which spaces, if any, day laborers have the right to occupy. Day labor conflicts are diverse, and communities and municipal governments negotiate day labor conflicts in different ways. Hiring sites exist in different geographic settings (e.g. neighborhoods with different residential demographics or character), and different settings involve many stakeholders (e.g. day laborers, local residents, business owners, law enforcement). The relationships between settings and stakeholders are also complex and dynamic; therefore, no single solution exists to the problems that arise around a day labor hiring site.

Day labor researchers and labor advocates argue that formalizing space for worker congregation, with a formal structure for job distribution, access to restroom facilities, and other amenities, is the most comprehensive solution currently available (Camou 2002; Valenzuela et al. 2006; Crotty 2007). We agree that formalization is the most progressive and successful method for regulating day labor. However, the way that the formalization process takes place has significant implications for the success of the hiring site. The physical, social, and bureaucratic situations of a formal hiring site are crucially important to consider during the formalization process. It is also important to understand how changes in the physical and social environment of the surrounding area may affect the hiring site.

To illustrate these points, we examine the micro-geographies of a formal day labor worker center in San Diego County, California. Micro-geographic studies focus on the details of groups' lived spatial experience, the daily spaces in which most personal and group interactions take place, or what Percy-Smith and Well (2000) call 'encounter spaces.' Power relations between people within such encounter spaces create 'microcultures,' understood as "flows of meaning which are managed by small groups of people that meet on an everyday basis" (Wulff 1995, p. 65). The small groups of people who must manage flows of meaning around day labor sites are stakeholders in each locational conflict.

Geography of India

Geography of India

India has a unique geographical structure. From the top of India to bottom, Indian geography totally changes. India is a mixed land that has mountains, deserts, hills, plateaus and much more. It is a land locked country but still has diversified geography. This is the reason India is considered as a sub continent in itself. It is surrounded by the Arabian Sea in the west and by Bay of Bengal in the east. This mixed geography of the Indian land makes it a country that is rich in flora and fauna. The total area of India comprises of 90.44 percent of land and rest 9.56 percent of water.
Indian geography is very vast and changes with the land. It is very beautiful with natural combination of different types of mountains, highlands, seas, soil, hills and much more. Indian geography is a blissful approach one can experience for the mental peace. Soil of India also possesses different values with changing land of India. It can be classified into eight types black soil, alluvial soil, red soil, literate soil, forest soil, arid & desert soil, saline & alkaline soil, and peaty & organic soil. India is mounted by the Himalayas which also affects the Indian geography up to a great extent.
The mixed land of India and Indian geography including soil and climate make it a hub of various natural resources. In India various reserves of natural resources can be found like coal, iron ore, manganese, mica, bauxite, titanium ore, chromites, natural gas, diamonds, petroleum, limestone. Weather of India is also quite unique and changes as per the land geography. One can not expect a particular climate of the season. Northern India is usually cold and southern India is warm every time while the western part of India enjoys a moderate climate.
Indian geography is very vast. One has so much to learn about the geography here. It is a rich source to study about rivers, mountains, plateaus, hills, soil, season etc.

Bermuda Triangle: Truth or falsity?

Often wonder about the reality of the Bermuda Triangle Here's this great site, reflects the fact my father massage , click here In their early beginnings they are all mountain streams, such as drain the rainy hills everywhere. They tumble in waterfalls, ripple into pools. Their sides are steep, often narrow enough to be called gorges, of the v-shape eroded by water flowing with a strong head of power through ages too long to reckon. But as they reach the Causses, the character of the rivers changes suddenly. There the long volcanic faults that gave them their original beds. The faults are not slopes, however steep, but perpendicular cliffs where the rock has been split apart. Below the cliffs there is usually a tilted screen caused by stone falls and below that again is the bed worn by the running river.
Limestone is relatively soft, and the river beds are worn down as straight walls, if they do not actually overhang, where the scour of water has hollowed them. The rivers have worn the lime right down to the ancient, hard sea bed. Once they are in the limestone country, the streams do not fall very rapidly; they are fairly near sea level all the way. Their gorges are called "couloirs," "passages," or in the Tarn, "canyons."
The Causses have other perplexing effects upon the rivers. Rain falling on the plateaus does not form streams; it just sinks into the porous rock as though it were blotting paper. Then it works downwards and collects in the caves and hollows with which the Causses are riddled. Here and there it runs in underground rivers, at the level of the hard base, until it finds an outlet. The bottoms of the cliffs are pierced at intervals by strong springs. Many of these, in the Tarn especially, run into the beds of the rivers themselves. These springs, which are called "resurgences," are very cold, pure, and clear. These fresh water springs are an impeccable vacation spot for upscale around the world cruise passengers looking for a taste of the French countryside.
This has the surprising result that the lower reaches of the rivers are more limpid than the upper waters, which are dark tinted with the soil and debris that color all hill streams. Where the cliffs are withdrawn from the riverbeds, as they are towards the west, the springs furnish the drinking water of the people. A good resurgence in this land of hot, dry summers will make a city. Perhaps the best example is the Chartreuse, the fountain of Cahors. In the days of Gaul, and during the Roman Empire, it was worshipped as a goddess-as well it might be, running crystal cold out of the scorching, chalky hill-and it is still carried under the lot to supply the drinking water of the town.
There is only one thing to be said against the Causse springs. The water has been seeping slowly through lime and it is hard, while the water of the upper streams is as soft as silk. Even far west of the Causses properly speaking, where the low hills are covered with woodland and fields, the ground has this porous, absorbent nature. So between the watercourses it is singularly dry, and depends upon a rather untrustworthy rainfall for the ripening of the crops. Indeed the whole region makes the impression of a dry land threaded with rivers.

Great Free Tool to Improve Your Geography Skills

How many minutes would it take you to identify Bhutan on a world map without names, only borders? Besides it should be understood that the changes caused by human activity (anthropogenic), especially those related to fossil fuel consumption and over-land.
So the changes caused by natural factors, such as additional aerosols from volcanic eruptions, are not accounted for in terms of climate change. So the natural phenomena that lead to extreme climatic conditions such as cyclones can occur in a year (inter-annual) and El-Nino and La Nina, which can happen in ten years (inter-decade) can not be classified into global climate change.
Human activity in question is the activities that have led to an increase in atmospheric concentrations, especially in the form of carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O). The gases then determines the temperature increase, because it is like glass, which can forward to short-wave radiation which is not hot, but hold long-wave radiation that is heat. As a result the earth's atmosphere heats up.

If you like this article ...
