If you have not noticed I have featured Elyse Hope Killoran’s Prosperity Game as a page on my site.  This is a wonderfully intense game of wealth, health and prosperity.  If you play the game with all your creativity, then you will begin to feel better about abundance, money and wealth.

My sister Jaye of Nappy Muse plays the Prosperity Game everyday.  Jaye says, that the game has “opened her mind up to unlimited possibilities.”  She also stated that she feels better about money and is not so uptight about spending or doing things.  Yes!  That is what this game is all about.

My friend and business partner Sarah Johnson also plays the Prosperity Game daily.  I have noticed an awesome change in her business life and her attitude toward her business since before she confessed to me that this game is one of her daily habits. I attribute her daily use of the Prosperity Game to her new success!  Yes!

I am new to this game, but I am intelligent enough to see the benefits that this game has given to my sister and my friend.  I know that it will do the same for me.  I am ready to play my way to wealth.  Yes!

30 Days of Massive Change Challenge –> Take 3

The photo to the left has a good question in it?  What would you attempt to do, if you knew that you could not fail?  Huh?

I would take the Massive Change Challenge if I knew I could not fail!

So, that’s exactly what I am doing.  I am on a campaign for Massive, Massive Change!  Yes!

So, it is the end of Day 1 of the challenge and I am just declaring what my intentions will be.  So, I will make tomorrow Day 1.  How about that?  I can do that, because its my challenge.  So, the challenge begins on Tuesday, September 7, 2010.  Yes!

Challenge #1:  Lay Aside the Weight

I am much of the notoriously acclaimed preacher and teacher TD Jakes opinion.  When you lose something, then you generally are on the road to finding it again.  But when you put something away or throw it away, then you can choose never to pick it up again or go back out and obtain more of it.

So instead of losing weight, I like the term ‘lay aside’ the weight.  Yes!  That resonates with me.  In this challenge I will be doing a few small challenges.

1. 10 Days of Raw Fruits and Veggies
2. 10 Days of Master Cleansing
3. 10 Days of Pure Water Fasting

I will also get some exercise going in there.  These are the exercises that I feel inspired to do.

1. Here is my dance playlist for first thing 5am every morning.
2. I will also be taking a walk away from work everyday (where I will also be doing my walking audios and I may do a few walking vlogs as well).
3. I will be using my perfect pushups daily.  I’m going to start with 5 pushups a day, then progress forward.
4. I will also be using my ab roller.  I will start with 5 complete rolls a day, then progress out from there.  I will do a video about what a complete roll is.

So, I’m going to be eating good and exercising well.  Yes!  This should go well.  Yes!

Challenge #2:  Pamper Thyself

First impressions are lasting impressions.  Though my bigger than life attitude makes an awesome impression on people; I would like for my physical impression to be just as attractive and awespiring.  So, here goes the neighborhood…

1. I promise to wake up every morning and do my hair.
2. I will also add some accentuating makeup.
3. My clothing will be neat and ironed.
4. I will leave the house every day looking excellent and amazing.  Yes!

Now, this one is going to be a bit much for me.  I’m used to being a natural girl that doesn’t try to hard.  I’m going to change my energy from that to a natural beauty queen.  This is my desire, so I am doing it.  Yes!

Challenge #3:  Clean Up The Vocab

Ever since I posted my little video about saying the “N-Word,” I have been using this derogatory language more or I have noticed how much I actually use it.  Okay, so Ho’oponopono on this one.  I’ll update you on how this one goes.

In 30 Days I will be more healthy, more fit and look and act more like a lady.  How about that?  Yes!

Rule of the Challenge: Really Boo, there are no rules.  Simply take actions everyday toward your challenges.

If you do not take any actions don’t worry remember to review your list of challenges everyday.  This will cause you to focus in on what you want to change and bring the changes that you want to make into your awareness.

From there you will then naturally begin to make the changes and these natural changes will be long standing changes.

The point is to focus your life into change, not to beat yourself up for not focusing in one day.  So, let’s go…

Doesn’t self-love take away from my ability to love others?  I mean, aren’t I supposed to love others first?

I used to ask this question a lot.  I mean, the good book teaches us to put others above ourselves right?  Hmmm… Let’s explore that…

Matthew 19:18-20 (New International Version)

¹⁸“Which ones?” the man inquired.

Jesus replied, ” ‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not give false testimony, ¹⁹honor your father and mother,’^[a] and ‘love your neighbor as yourself.’^[b]”

²⁰“All these I have kept,” the young man said. “What do I still lack?”

I put in a partial part of this parable about the young ruler trying to find out how to get into heaven from Jesus.  Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself.  Yes!

Well, how do I effectively love my neighbor, if I do not love myself?

I will say that it is not possible to love others when you do not fill yourself up with love first.  I was watching the Celestine Prophecy today and I learned that we go around trying to take love from others when love is already create within us.   If we would only bask in the love that is inside of us all ready, then we would be able to give more love to our neighbor rather than come to get love from them.

This is where we get frustrated and we frustrate others.  Instead of living out of pure love that comes from within, we are wondering…

“Why won’t he do what I want him to do?”  Well, first of all that question is unloving.  It comes from the premise that since, I have to love you first and I can’t handle me first, then you have to give me everything that I need.

“Why is she running away from me?”  You’re coming to get her love from her.  She has been drained before and she doesn’t think that she can bare it one more time.

When you take the time to fill yourself up with love, then loving others becomes a cinch.

I love this little boy.  Why wouldn’t I?  He is a part of me.  I love him like my own son, because in a way, he is my own son.  Yes!  I know that his guide (mother) is very proud.  As I am proud of my own son whom I guide.  Yes!  Enough rambling…

I saw this CBS News Video last week when I posted the YouTube video of my dear little Johnathan.  I decided to space out the posts, so that I wasn’t barraging you with the same info back to back.

This mission has truly caught my attention and I intend to follow this mission.  I intend to join it in some way.  Even if my only part in the mission is to blog about it.  I feel… I am a part of it.  Yes!

This is my mantra.  This is the mantra of Ho’oponopono.  It is the prayer for yourself and for the world.

I am not yet proficient in the Ho’oponopono process.  {I have learned quickly that you do not have to be proficient for it to work in your life. Yes!}  I love how the process of the mantra works whether you understand it or not.  Yes!

Philippians 4:8 (King James Version)

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

The words are lovely.  When you speak them to another person, they are healing.  When you speak them to yourself, they are healing.  When you speak them to the Divine (God), they are healing.  Yes!

About Ho’oponopono

I love this 9 part video where Dr. Ihaleakala Hew Len discusses the healing process of Ho’oponopono with Rita Montgomery and Dr. Rick Moss.  It is my favorite interview that I have seen of him so far.  He is such a jolly fellow (for lack of better words).

The Change In Me

I will not claim perfection or anything like that, but I will say that I have been a much lighter person.  I have an example that I can use as to how the process of Ho’oponopono has changed my spirituality and life.

“On the day that I am writing this post, my son took my phone out with him to play. {This is how I keep up with him when he is away from me.}  For some unexplained reason, he put down the phone and key to my apartment by the basketball court and went some place else to play.  I called my phone, because I wanted him to come in and eat a late lunch.  Some other child answered my phone and hung up on me.”

“I went out to see what was going on.  I said the mantra once on the way there.  I expected my phone to be lost to me.  I was okay.  When I got there my son had to go and pick up my phone off the basketball court, and my keys too!”

“Sufficed to say, I was livid.  I went off!… all the way back to the apartment.  He was on punishment before he could even breathe.”

“I look at the phone and the SIM card is missing from the phone.  I went back to the court, and the little boy who’s voice I heard answer my phone told me that one of the little kids must have taken the SIM card.  Well, I didn’t care about the phone or the SIM card.  I did care that my son had been careless.”

“Or was it me that was careless?  Was it I that put my phone down by the court?  Was it I that put my keys down there too?  {Total responsibility.}  It is not my son who has the flaw in him, but the flaw is in me.  So, I came into the house and I cleansed.”

I am sorry.

“I sent him to bathe and go to his room immediately when he came in the house.  After a few minutes of ‘cleansing’ and talking to My Baby Love (the love of my life), I was able to have a loving and uplifting conversation with him and spell out a sound punishment.”

“I talked to my boy for a few minutes and then I allowed him to go into his cave (Men are from Mars/Women are from Venus by John Gray).  He is sleeping as I type up this post.  He will be better for my practice of Ho’oponopono and I am better.  I could be sitting here seething right now, but I am at peace.  I am at one with God and all.  Yes!”

Before practicing Ho’oponopono, I would have yelled and screamed and pitched a fit and told him how irresponsible he was.  I would have taunted and raved on and on about how he couldn’t be trusted and I would be having none of his shenanigans.

Now, once again:  “I am sorry.  I love you.  Please forgive me.  Thank you.”

There will be many more posts about Ho’oponopono on Gerlaine Talk.  This is the main keyword of my site.  Once I found Ho’oponopono I was attracted to it in such a way that I knew I would spend the rest of my life sharing it with myself, because you are me.  I have only been practicing this for a little over a week, and already have many healing stories to tell.  Yes!

I saw this video for the first time on Facebook.  I can not believe that this has been out for a whole year and I have never heard it.   Wow!  I love it!

I have not yet posted my belief in “we are all one” here, but this little boy is a part of me and he is a part of you.  It is fair to say that he is another experience or existence of you and me.  He is me talking to myself.  So, I am cleaning right now:  “I am sorry.  Please forgive me.  Thank you.  I love you.” (Ho’oponopono)  <–{I will post on this soon.  Ho’oponopono has changed my life.}

I love how he added a stanza to Lift Every Voice and Sing.  Yes!  This little boy is a natural born politician.  There will be great things for him.  I see it.  Yes!

My Beautiful Gerlaine Talk Family,

Allow me to explain why this blog is empty.  There is only this one post.  No pictures.  Only my header.  You may be here wondering where is that post that you so often come by to take a look at.  You may have clicked on a link expecting to read something that is no longer here.  You may be content with what you see here, because this is your first time here.

Today, I was instructed by the Divine (God) to clean and erase my blog.  I was instructed to give the blog the cleansing background from Dr. Joe Vitale and Dr. I. Hew Len’s website (Not an affiliate link, but recommended by me).  I have been blogging since, September of 2009 here on Gerlaine Talk.com.  I had over 100 posts, posted.  Why would the Divine pick now to tell me to clean and erase?

I believe it is symbolic of the change that I have made in my life.  GerlaineTalk is all about The Gerlaine Lifestyle.  Today, I am changed.  So, I am cleansing all of my posts as instructed.  I have plenty of work to do.  I am actually not starting over.  I am starting a new.

I did a cleansing of my mind and my old mindset this morning.  In the middle of the mindset reset this morning, I decided to listen to the Divinity about my blog.  I erased it and could not bring myself to fix it at all.  Hmmm…

So, I went back and I finished cleaning my mindset.  (Frustrating at first, but so cleansing.)  Once, I was full throttle in my cleanse I was laughing whole-heartedly and felt like my old paradigm was foolish.  Only then was I able to come back here to the blog and make it right.

Now, it is time for me to clean my home completely.  So, I bid you ado.  I will be posting pictures as I go along to show you my process in cleaning my home.  More love.
