Online shopping is not a new trend in developed countries such as the United States or UK, and we can see that this trend has moved from the west to the east as a result of ‘Globalization’, the term we often see in our secondary examinations especially in essays writing. Before moving on further, I need to share with you the few popular trends of shopping in Malaysia these days. Read on …….

Online auctions
Online auctions are indeed popular places for trading goods and both merchants and consumers can sell or buy anything they want to. The good thing is it includes cheaper prices whereby one can find it hard to get items. The cons are that the vendors may not be willing to ship overseas and those who are registered with the auction house may not be official businesses thus leading to a higher risk. For example: Lelong.com and E-bay

Shopping Forums and Review Blogs
It is a portal that gathers a number of shopping destinations together at one single place. You have the option to choose and link from various shops that is much simplified. Again traders history is hard to evaluate that involves higher risks. Shopping forums such as Lowyatt.net and My Shopping Kaki are two good examples.

E-shop
With the availability of free blogging platforms and low cost web builder sites, owning a business is made simple. Fashions, art and crafts, collectibles, accessories, techies, you name it. In these few years, blog shops has grown like mushroom and has become the most preferred way of shopping especially for ladies (^^ Try these website Oh-popsicles, Jcvk-inspire) The advantage is that you will get rare and unique items at reasonable price besides helping to build a better relationship between buyer and seller. The cons are the insecurities in buying from stranger, and inconvenience payment system as credit card payment or Paypal is not popular in the country and buyers will be turned off by the idea of having to go to the bank every time they need to buy something online. However, this problem is seen to be reduced with the help of E-banking (Maybank2u).

There are of course other alternative to shop online, what I wrote in this article is the shopping options that I see to be the most popular in Malaysia as an online shopper. I will share more on my next article. Till then, Cheers!

Get Tokified Today!

Do you wish to get tokified? Simply said, we will tokify you into the character which you desire!

Just follow these simple steps :

Step 1:

Email us your photo to whirl_chia@hotmail.com, closed up. Photo from a camera phone should be sufficient, as long as we can see your face clearly. All your photo will be kept private and used for tokified purpose only. So, don't worry!

Step 2:

Tell us more about you. Here's some guidelines:

a) Name
b) Nick name
c) Favorite character (can be movie stars, cartoon and anime, etc)
d) Your occupation or interest
e) How do you want us to tokify you

We will customize your tokified character according to your will. OR you can leave it to us and we will tokify you according the information that you give to us

Step 3:

After your tokified character is ready, we will send the artwork to your email for your confirmation. If you like it (I bet you will), you can proceed to payment and we will deliver to you within 3-7 days.

Ok now to sum everything up, I will give you an example:

A photograph of this size is sufficient. Attach the file to your email prior to sending.

Next just tell us about you. Eg:

Name: Joanna Chang

Nick: Nana (my friends call me Banana)

Favorite character: None

Occupation and interest: Designer, likes bible study

How do you want us to tokify you? I got no idea, why don't you do it for me

And the result is ...................

That's all, easy isn't it? So if you like the design you can proceed to payment. If not, we are happy to redesign for you again :)

Hi, My name is Nicklaus Chia, co-owner of this blog. First of all, would like to thank you all for reading this. As a brief introduction, this is a place where I will publish "Get-Tokified" products, where the CG characters created by my partner Jtai was modified into various mechandises, starting with Badges.
