Some Bad Day...

My carelessness has gotten me in the ass this time. The first bad luck this year... and probably the worst since being dumped.
Today at around 4 something, I went to eat at Restaurant Wun Chiap at Tamparuli. I recklessly left my wallet on a chair and forgot to bring it with me when I shifted to another table.
Two middleaged chinese guys no, assholes went to the table and took off suddenly. One had white polo t-shirt on with thinning white hair while the other used blue shirt with jeans. Too bad I won't be seeing them again.
I only realized when it hit me that the last time I placed my wallet was there. Made my police report. Mindfucked and feeling like rape victim, I got a call a few hours later from an unexpected source. A friend of mine. It was surprising and, after being given the explanation I was more surprised. Apparently, the girl who found it, came upon my friend's number in an old sim card (after dialling everyone in that card) in the wallet and called her. Cards were all there except for well, all my cash. A miracle/blessing I'd say.
The girl was on her way to the market when she stumbled on it. She claimed everything was a mess and she had to pick everything up. Now, I'm not sure the other things that I lost now. So the story goes...
Now, I have to report back to the police tomorrow and re-apply for my cards. Talk about the fckin hassle. Obviously there are more things that I should think about but right now, I think I'm gonna take it one at a time. Its depressing like hell.
Blessing in disguise? I'm not sure. Right now, my mind is occupied with those so-called "decent" chinese bastards. I've learned some lesson the worst way indeed.

The Greatest Mistake Pt.1

Ok... so I just had to blog this as my sister and my bro suggested me to do. Not like I wanted to but since I'm having some sort of writers block doing some website project, I figured I'd just embarrass myself here.
It happened at Greenridge Mall and it all started with a damn stomach ache (I get this a lot these days)... and the urge to bank-in. My first visit was already something. There was no water but I managed to exchange to the other with water. And just when I thought it was over, my stomach began to rumble and me arse felt like it needed to explode. Since I was not anywhere near the restroom I was before, I had to find another one. Luckily there was one somewhere near. That was when it all started. All thanks to the bad signage... at least for me.
There was nothing on the doors (no normal signs) just paintings to tell which is which. Seeing that the male painting was pointing the other opposite way, I immediately rushed there without confirming. And so and so, it happened when I went out, I was surprised to see a lady washing her hands... She was shocked herself I bet. So we all went out and the lady argued I was in the wrong place. Trying to cover myself, I said she got it wrong while pointing to the painting. She gave me a blank disgusted look and went in. Realizing something was wrong, I cabut.
I only realized I was the wrong one when I consulted my bro. LOL, its a good thing I ran away but I think my face has been already blacklisted. Sheesh.
Hmm, being here in Singapore, I wonder if I'm to jail for this. I guess I won't be going there anytime soon. I will definitely remember this invaluable lesson. Some experience to start the damn day. How stupid and embarrasing can it be?

And that sums up the new X-Files 2 I Want to Believe movie - a love story. Ok wait, that's just an opinion from some twoot at KansasCity.com.
Just watched it today. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should. Let me spoil one part. The subject title above was actually a book just beside Dana Scully in one scene in the movie where Scully and Mulder were “sleeping together” presumably, a scene of them after sex. LOL, that would make perfect sense but wait, there's something more to it. I went googling on the title and sure there existed a book with that title albeit a different cover used in the movie. Apparently, the author of the book is Dori Carter wife of Chris Carter, the creator of the X-Files. More on that here. Speaking of the cover of the book in the movie, I thought it looked something like the image above if my memory serves me right. :D Correct me if I'm wrong (I didn't hold the remote). I need to find a screenshot on that.
All in all, I thought it was so-so. It was an okay movie, leaning more towards drama and thriller. This movie is a continuation after the final episode(s) where Mulder is quoted saying “I want to believe that the dead are not lost to us. That they speak to us as part of something greater than us — greater than any alien force. And if you and I are powerless now, I want to believe that if we listen to what's speaking, it can give us the power to save ourselves”. I see it as a probable “real” conclusion to end the X-Files saga aka “The Extraordinary Adventures of Mulder & Scully” although Chris Carter mentioned that he wants to believe in a third movie that would go back to the mythology of the series particularly the alien invasion due to begin on December 22, 2012, as revealed in the series finale”.
To be honest, I thought this was just like watching a two part CSI (minus those micro CGI effects thingy). Or, watching two episodes of the X-Files series combined. In anime, that would be like "special episodes" or an OVA that just might bear significance to the whole story.
I predicted a “messiah” kinda mystery that would involve supernatural stuff after watching the teaser trailer back then but I was wrong (but nothing that negative about the movie). It turned out to be sort of like, a “detective” type movie leading to a chain of related disappearings along with gruesome discoveries involving with a Catholic Pedophile Priest, to summarize. Pedobears anyone? :D
I think I may watch it again once, to pick the important details I may have missed. I hope I’ll still be alive by then if there’s gonna be a third movie. I was and still presently am (despite the 2nd movie) really, really hoping I’d see another X-Files movie back to its original roots, the extraterrestrial. I have doubts this movie will hit it big time (a requirement for the next movie) especially with the "decline" and the releases of block busters such as Batman but I WANT TO BELIEVE!!!!!

Studio Ghibli's Ponyo on a Cliff

Its 4 days past the premier of Studio Ghibli's new movie by the great Hayao Miyazaki, Ponyo On A Cliff, released on July 19.
Ponyo on a Cliff is said to be a masterpiece visually and heavily based on countless hand-painted watercolours, and only the second Ghibli film to have that look; the first for Hayao Miyazaki however. Not only that, Ponyo on a Cliff will not feature any CGI work. Hayao Miyazaki dabbled with the technique for the backgrounds of Howl's Moving Castle, but has abandoned it for this film.
Ponyo on a Cliff is about the a goldfish princess named Ponyo who wishes to become human. Along the way, she befriends a 5-year-old boy named Sosuke. One of the major themes of the movie is the closeness between a parent and child.

Notably, Miyazaki took 20 months of production for this film, the longest ever taken by him.
According to a source, this movie was fueled by rift with his son Goro who directed Tales from Earthsea which Hayao publicly critised. Goro, in turn, accused his father of sabotage.
It was said that the author of Tales from Earthsea, Ursula K. LeGuin wanted and personally asked Hayao to direct Earthsea but he was preoccupied during that time. Le Guin was generally disappointed with the film, if not as outrightly disapproving as she been of the Sci Fi Channel miniseries, as both adaptations added major characters and events which she felt were unfaithful to her work in terms of both content and spirit. Most of all, she was saddened that Goro's father Hayao Miyazaki missed chance to direct it. (The elder Miyazaki had asked permission to create an Earthsea adaptation back in the early 1980s, but Le Guin, not knowing his work, or indeed anime in general, turned him down. After viewing My Neighbour Totoro, she then came to the idea that if anyone should be allowed to direct an Earthsea film, it should be Hayao Miyazaki.)
Goro's attitude wasn't complimentary either, describing Hayao as “A goose egg as a father and 100% as a director." It is believed that Goro also indirectly pulled the trigger forcing him to retire from his passion in this industry.

"(Hayao) has the sense of crisis that he is being driven into retirement by the young generation," said Ghost in the Shell director Mamoru Oshii in an interview with CH4. "He tries to kick the other party to the bottom of a ravine, even in the case of his own son . . . Miya-san's motivation be full of . . ." Anime101

Its possible that Hayao resented his son stealing Tales from Earthsea right out from under his nose. Can't blame Hayao who is in my opinion the greatest animator legend esp in anime. At the peak of his legendary career, I believe as the imperfect human, one will always be confronted with issues such as that raised by Mamoru Oshii.
Hayao the great is using Ponyo on a Cliff as a means of restoring relations between himself and his eldest son. Studio Ghibli has admitted that Hayao, after serious reflection, used Goro as a model for the character of Sosuke when he was 5 years old. With Ponyo, family relations are certainly on Hayao's mind.
"I read the completed storyboards until the end," claimed Nishioka during an interview on The Ghibli Channel, "and noticed that a terrible secret is hidden in the theme song."
I certainly hope that Hayao would work out things with his son and be allowed to freely continue his works/efforts in spreading the anime gospel. Here's hoping Ponyo will be successful!

So yeah, this has been everywhere. And LMAO cos I've been continuing making posts like this. Well, call posts this reference for my fapping purposes. :D LOL
Now, back to where I should've started. It was reported that busty Nereida has been dumped by "football primadonna" Cristiano Ronaldo despite being denied by Nereida. The British media cited Portuguese tabloid 24 Horas as reporting that the reason for the split was "a secret of the gods". (yeah. gods huh. LMAO)
In another source, it was quoted that Ronaldo was jealous of her past relationships (one of them being with Real's Sergio Ramos), and because his mom thought she was only dating him for the money and likewise, to boost her own fame.
I guess you just can't have it all. In any case, I don't really feel she's bothered. ;)

Conclusion
I've to admit that initially, I thought she was plain (and at one time, fugly) as I've only seen very few of her pictures. After checking out this, I totally changed my mind. Boobs ftw!! *faps* and *drool* LMAO

Btw, Hayao Miyazaki, anime legend bigger than Walt friggin Disney imho, newest anime movie is out! Released officially yesterday (on July 19 on 481 screens, and I was going to blog on that too but slept it out) entitled 崖の上のポニョ (Gake no Ue no Ponyo) or in its official English title "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea". More on that later.
While its success was argued, heard it came out big. Sweet!

P/S: Can't wait for it to be either available in big screens over here (which I doubt it) or the torrent subbed release :D

Truly EPIC. Legendary.
I still can't shake off this great impression after the movie. I'm speechless. And there's still a powerful urge to watch it again. Such is the power of Heath Ledger's acting that really brought the evil Joker to life. He really deserves an Oscar for this. Definitely.

To conclude, I'd like to echo Burr's final conclusion of his review of this movie ultimately referring to the great loss of Heath Ledger:

"In the end,... the achievement's more than that, or harder. It makes you mourn a gifted man's... death with fresh and vigorous sorrow".

Indeed, something harder to swallow nor accept for a sudden, forced curtain call by the actor himself.
In my probable next visit to watch the movie again, I'd need to pay proper respects this time which I should've done earlier. A self moment of silence.
Second to none, Heath Ledger RIP.

Right now I’m here typing at one of the many colourful benches inside freakin’ over-hyped 1Borneo. Hours back, while waiting for my mom to finish her meeting in town, I was at Growball Cinemax, Centre Point to watch Batman’s newest flick “The Dark Knight”.
Initially, I was going to doze off at any random movie or just get doses of caffeine @ a coffee shop, with style that is, until it was time. It turned out to be a waker instead; I didn’t even need drugs uh, caffeine. I actually enjoyed my so-called “random movie” thoroughly. I was kept at edge of my seat throughout the whole time.
Buttman uh, Batman I mean, and Joker are officially my role models. While Christian Bale was in his expected awesomeness as usual, Heath Ledger was the man of the show. The whole movie was awesome actually. Just when I was getting immensely bored and sick of Superhero flicks, ~~Joker~~ Batman saved me from what I call the death of Superhero movies.
***Here’s my 10 cents:

Bat Mobile (Batmob) can transform to a uber cool Batbike. Awesomenesss!!
The nearest thing to a Batmob? Get a Lamborghini. The Reventon is closest to a Batmob. That being the case, Lambos easily owns lame Ferraris, Mercedes McLarens, BMWs, etc.
Your gf (or ex) is more than expendable for whatever reason there is. ~~Hell, you don’t need a reason to kill your gf.~~ My man point is, you don’t need a gf to rule the world.
Heroes are evil as well. They should all die. Genuine heroes aren’t heroes if catch my drift (even if you don’t, that’s ok too). That being said, they’re in a different league, one of a kind. I hereby name these newtype as Neutrals.
Christian Bale == Batman. I’ve to admit he’s the best Batman to date (and probably the best there ever will be). A sincere thanks to the forces of the universe, Batman role wasn’t some lame asshole with Pitt or Cruise as his last name. Bale may have missed out the chance of being James Bond but fuckity fuck James Bond. Batman owns Bond.
Batman isn’t a hero. He’s the dark guardian of real Justice even if the world isn’t ready for a new type of saviour.
Thou shall worship Batman. Any other shall be deemed Atheism. Batman wannabes will prolly be raped and then, put to death. That means, thou shall not imitate or misuse the almighty Batman. Why you ask? Watch the movie and see how Joker treats em. He makes em laugh before being put to sleep.
Remember Slaughter is the best medicine!
The late Heath Ledger ftw! If you don’t know what the Net lingo “FTW” means, it stands for “for the win”. He was truly awesomely evil as Joker and he is my hero in this movie hands down. Awesome quote from Joker: “I’m an agent of chaos; chaos is fear.”
Heath Ledger, truly an excellent actor, you'll definitely be missed. You were second to none. Should there be another Batman flick with Joker, it'll never be the same. RIP.

The only shame I had was that I had to rush out in the middle of the movie just to take a leak. And LOL, I had it kept long.

That's the message I got when I tried to access Veoh today to catch up with some series that I subscribed. Just when I thought being dumped by a girlfriend via MSN (WLM now) was bad, this is worse. Prolly the rudest awakening ever.
If you don't know what is Veoh yet, to put it simply, Veoh is just like Youtube. If you dunno even what is Youtube, you've prolly been hiding underground too long. Check out the entry in Wikipedia for more info.
Reason behind the ban? (source)

#1: “Unfortunately Veoh has ended service in your country due to a low concentration of users. Veoh is maintaining service in countries when we have the highest concentration of viewers.”

#2: “Veoh is maintaining markets when we have the highest concentration of viewers.”

According to Wikipedia, this outrage started last month on June without warning. (Shit, I should've finished my downloads before then). As of now, a total of 169 (and growing) countries are in the blacklist.

Its still to early to say this but among all three that was mentioned, I hafta say that Natsume Yuujinchou strikes me up the most. Somehow this one gives me joy or that the similar vibe, to put in a different way) when I watched Zettai Shonen and Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi (two of my all-time personal favs). I thoroughly enjoyed Zettai Shonen and Abenobashi till the end and I hope I'll get that similar feeling as I continue to watch Natsume Yuujinchou.
fyi, all three of the anime above are based on its own manga titles. I haven't read any yet though. I might make a post if I do have that urge to go further by reading the manga.
Also notable, all three have also "ear-catching" OPs and EDs (at least, for me). I'm definitely going after the OSTs when they come out. I hope I don't get bored to listening to it every episode that'll kill off my ~~short term~~ interest.
In any case, if you're an anime/manga fan, you should mark these. Cheers!

That's good reason for you, yes you Cristigayano, not to go to Real Madrid. Why? You'll probably end up measuring and comparing every inch of Sergio Ramos that will probably end up in a gayfest glut.
Such is the naivety (and a grave mistake) having a model as a girlfriend, wife, or friend for whatever purpose. Definitely not for the long term. There'll always be those "dark herstories" to contend with anyway. Unless, you're an avid pron lover, you'd try not to think of such things and focus on teh sex and that wouldn't be a pathetic issue. Pasts are supposed to be "pasts", they say.

Small update. I changed me dooom-doooms. ^^;
I actually didn't wanna change especially since I wasn't satisfied with it but I was bored so I figured to play around with the 3 columned one @ BlogCrowds. And so here it is, layout now has 3 columns. The downside of this is, it seems rather unpresentable when viewed at a resolution <= 800 x 600 and I prefer the dashed border on the far left to be on the other side to have that centered look, if you know what I'm sayin. Also that footer posts link ("Older Posts, Newer Posts") will touch the dashed sidebar when extended. Guess I need to tinker a bit more.
Anyway, thx for the tip up Rush!

UPDATE/EDIT:
Ok, here's how to add your favicon for your Blogger Blog. Here's how:

First things first, you need an image or create one that you like using your favorite image editor.
Next, once you've done that. Head to Genfavicon [link], an online icon generator. From there, you could upload and create your icon in .ico format. Alternatively, you could use an editor to manually create/convert one. Once you have created an icon, save it on your PC ideally at a location that you can easily find.
After that, you need to upload your image to a host. Make sure you know the url location of your image after you've uploaded it. If you don't have a webhost, you can google around and find a suitable file host of your liking to host your images. There are loads of image hosts. Me, I use Googlepages instead of others since I have an account @ Google. If you made an account with Google, you'll automatically be registered to all of those services and I recommend that you make use of them. ;) Whatever host you decide on, remember to make sure that the host accepts .ico, or .png. Typically, you'll use .ico (I'll be using .ico as a marker here for this tutorial) so make sure of that.
Next, log in to your Blogger and from the dashboard under the Template tab, go to “Edit HTML”. Near the top you will see a line like this:-

Copy and insert the following code below the line:-
<link href='URL of your icon file' rel='shortcut icon' type='image/vnd.microsoft.icon'/>
Inserting this will also work:-
<link href='URL of your icon file' rel='shortcut icon' type='image/x-icon'/>
The .ico image format has been used by many but you can also create an image under the .png or .gif format. Ensure that the size of the image is either 16x16 pixels or 32x32 pixels.

If you have a PNG format image, the link to insert is:-

<link href='URL of your icon file' rel='shortcut icon' type='image/png'/>

If it is a GIF format image, the link is:-

<link href='URL of your icon file' rel='shortcut icon' type='image/gif'/>

Remember to type in the “URL of your icon file”.
Save the template. When you refresh your blog site, VOILA! You should be able to see your nice little Favicon next to the blog address.

Wordle is a toy for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. You can tweak your clouds with different fonts, layouts, and color schemes. The images you create with Wordle are yours to use however you like. You can print them out, or save them to the Wordle gallery to share with your friends.

Rasterbator [link]
The name is a shocker. Heck, even the url is odd. Homokaasu. Hmm...
But note the word "Raster". Does that clear any suspicions? Hmm...
Rasterbator creates huge, rasterized images from any picture. Upload an image, print the resulting multi-page pdf file and assemble the pages into extremely cool looking poster up to 20 meters in size. You could also download a standalone program and do it yourself offline. The difference between using the program and the online generator is that if you do it online there are size/resolution limits.
While you're at it, make sure to check out the gallery. Check out ppl's cribs with their rasterbated image/poster. Awesomeness.

I'm currently trying out the Rasterbator. Me want to print a huge poster of boobs :D

Classified Ads

I was reading about an article in Japan on classified ads [link] and was reminded of an ad I saw recently although it does not fall into the same category. While there's no odd matchmaking kinda ads like the ones that are prominently mentioned in the abovementioned article, there's an abundance of ads from odd job descriptions, pointless "free" seminars, to questionable products/services. While it is suspicious, those ads do the job. Smart.

Back to the ad I was talking about, this particular ad was about some kind of online job listing that they claim would generate about USD$1000-$3000. Maximum earnings for full time, they say. As sweet as that may sound, there’s a hitch. There was no contact details but only a web address for its potential ~~suckers victims~~ readers, to check it. What makes it more suspicious is that its address is not the generic domain ones but it ends with what looks like a sub domain or folder.
Kindly correct me, if I’m using the wrong jargo to make my point here. While I may have graduated from a Computer degree, I’ve kinda forgotten most of the jargo and terminologies. ^^;
I actually wanted to scan that ad here for a better legit example but unfortunately I realized it has been sent to be “recycled”. All thanks to whoever who “violated” my room. I should’ve scanned it earlier and post along to make my claim legit. To make that worse, I’ve also somehow lost the link. Anyways, here how the link sort of looked like:

Note that the link above is generic. I am referring to its format or how it looked in the paper.
My first impression on it was that it indicated a personal user or a profile. My guess was correct. The website will lead you to a page where you will register your contact details under that person’s referral. Apparently, the website cannot be accessed directly. Meaning, if you refer to that format above, the text highlighted in blue is removed. For some reason, you must type that in full. That means if I register, I’ll be under his downline so it is like he benefitted from two things: referral and adding members to his/her downline. Lulz.
The system I’d say is some sort of MLM or pyramid like scheme but instead of that previous “get rich” scheme where you don’t need to sell products, this one does but not exclusively. Like I mentioned, members are also rewarded through referrals and gets commission for victims who fell for it and bought the products. I also feel that the members are paid for the contacts they’ve made regardless of whether the user registers, or not since I’ve noticed a tracking cookie. The website may look ugly but for some reason my firewall also detected that it also was trying to install suspicious third party add-ons. Most likely, spyware or adware.
I wonder how much that person gets through his/her dastardly affiliation.

Nothing much to blog about except for the fact that I think I found "that" feeling during my golf swing practice today :D
Using a 7 iron and armed with 7 golf balls, I began my "so-called" practice session this evening. My main purpose was to practice swinging the club steadily/consistently. While it definitely ain't perfect yet, I felt that I gained something that I haven't compared to my previous practice sessions. All of this came with the expense of one lost ball. Better than my previous, 4 lost balls. Heh.
After trying a lot of stances, I found one stance that I was comfortable with in my short game and was hitting the ball at the direction I wanted it to be. I need to reaffirm this nice feeling again in my next practice. Hopefully tomorrow. "Whacking white balls" are fun. ;)
Now, if only I can figure out my golf driving game. Need to hit those balls far and long. ;)

I'm posting this just because I just ordered Nendoroid Hatsune Miku (the one with the green+bluish hair). Will be posting pics of her later once I receive the item, hopefully that is, if there's no problems with the shipping.
Oh, btw, I also pre-ordered the yellow-haired twins who appeared after Miku last month. Me crossing my fingers the place where I pre-ordered won't screw me up. I tell you pre-orders can be a hassle especially if they suddenly cross your name out for "someone" else. Heh.

Some Odd Day

Finally, I'm online again ^^; There was a long downtime since morning . At first, I thought it was because my modem was acting up but it turned out to be something else. I suspected the downtime to be "maintenance" on TMNet's part. Heh. Connection's still not stable though. It disconnects randomly.
As if that wasn't irritating, earlier today some accursed assturd spread bad gospel (via SMS according to the local news on TV) saying that there was some kind of upcoming demonstration involving gas merchants, in retaliation to the government's recent price hike ruling. It was mentioned that there would be a major close down for days which means limited or no gas at all. This sent people over here to a frenzy. Similar to that when Malaysia's PM first announced the price hike weeks ago. I was there. That was far more worse though. Sabahans went crazy for a while today to restock gas, thanks to that. I didn't even know till my grandfather paid us a visit to borrow some containers to restock. There were lots of cars everywhere when I went for a ride to get my daily dose of caffeine this evening. Traffic jams are definitely irritating. Fortunately, it died down after some time. So much for that hoax.
I wonder what's to come after all these price hikes. More price hikes but I predict a much bigger storm coming. Maybe this time there'll be some political religious agenda like Friday law or Sunday law or whatever bullshit they come up with. The opposition ain't doing that good either. In fact, it was from the opposition such religious motion was heard. Such is the result when power is in the wrong hands; in the hands of the abominable. *sigh*
Anyway, I forced myself to watch a CGI sci-fi movie "Vexille" (by the makers of "Ghost in the Shell" if I'm not mistaken) just now. My initial intention was an entertaining action packed movie but there was more to it. What can I say.... it's definitely one scary movie even if its not horror. Just for the sake of not straying off my earlier point, this one made me ponder what the influential filthy rich bastards can do in the near future. Bio-tech wars... currently the most mentioned these days and that's not even all of it. Politics, religion, and science is evil after all.
