Do you want to invest money on stocks or other financial products? There are tons of books and software out there on websites and bookstores teaching you how to be a successful investor. You must be confused and scared to invest thinking that it's too risky. But at the same time , a lot of people would like to take the risk. Actually it's not that hard. Yes, there are a lot of techniques, but instead of struggling to learn about all the techniques and try to find the best ones, I suggest understanding the basic knowledge about financial products' and markets' behaviors and find proper techniques for yourself.

Most people know that the basic about investment is that the more risk, the more returns and if you want to eliminate the individual risk, just add more diversified stocks in your portfolios. But in reality when you invest, you need consider a lot of things. Do you want to be long term investor or short term? What kind of markets do you want to invest? After you have decided what you will invest, you need set up your system, including the setups, entering the markets, protective stops and position sizing. Basically the setups are a series signs showing it's the time entering the markets. Techniques of entering the market are how to enter when the criterion of the setups are satisfied. The protective stops are criterion when to exit the market. Position sizing is about how much you invest. Those factors in the systems are based on what product and market you are investing. For each factor, there are a lot of techniques and theories based on different situations. I am doing research on the most simple investment strategy called random entry right now, which enter at the open on the second day when exit and enter short or long solely depending on fliping a coin, randomly going long or short, protective stops are the 3-ATR stop and position sizing is investing 1% of the account after exit. Just this simple system can show in a long term, it still can make money which demonstrate in a investment system, when to enter and how enter are not that important as most people think, instead when to stop and how much to invest are much more crucial, which decide your system earns money or loses.
Seems I am lack of organizing. A lot of things filled in my head. But I don't know where I need start. I will show more investment tips and my research results later on. Hope this could help you invest wisely.

I've been using checking account from Bank of America (BOA) for quite a long time. The online banking of BOA is the best I know. And I love the website even better when I started to use the portfolio feature.

In BOA's portfolio, you can manage virtually all of your accounts you have, no matter it is a checking, saving, credit card, or even investment account and mortgage. I added some of my department store card to it. When you added, the system can track all the transactions on theseaccounts, and generate a package of reports. I wasn't very good at managing accounts, and my financial situation was quite messy before. If my pants could talk

I am such a simple guy that I don't buy a lot of new stuffs. Like pants, I have only 4 pairs of them, and they've been with me for years.

I don't treat them nicely to be honest, all of my pants are worn out. If my pants could talk, they must be sick of my gait. I walk with feet closed to each other, which makes the inside of my pants hit each other all the time. All of my pants have a hole in it. They must be very angry for my making them fight against each other. And they even hope I can dump them one day, being in the trash bin may be better with me.

Well. all of my pants are pretty tough, they are heavy duty ones. That's the reason they last for years. And I really need pants like that (That could be the reason they hate me even more!) . I don't know when will be the day I buy a new pair of them.

"Pill of Motivation" for bloggers

I saw a post titled "Money Meter-My Pill of Motivation"on life is colourful, and I really want to share it with other bloggers. The site owner put a "money meter" on the blog, which showed that he had earned $6747.41 since 1st Jan 2008. That is really impressive for a part time blogger.

This blog is also one of my favorites. The blog was started less than a year ago. It can be seen from the archive, the blog owner kept it a routine to at least add one new post every 2-3 days. I believe that if you keep your blog updated with new contents, there will be very decent traffic even if you don't spend a lot of time and money advertising. Only blogs with useful contents will attract loyal readers, and keep your bounce rate low.

Anyway, hope this post will motivate bloggers who want to monetize their blogs. Just keep working, anything can happen!

To be honest, I don't have much experince to host a blog like this and I am not an expert to make money online. Travel Idea needed

I am planning a driving trip from Orlando to NYC and back, in order to host my girlfriend's parents. The trip is going to take 7-10 days. My preliminary plan is:

Orlando, FL -> St. Augustine, FL -> Hilton Head Island, SC (stay one night) -> Asheville, NC (stay two nights) -> Alexandria, VA (stay two nights) -> Washington, DC -> New York, NY (while staying at Alexandria, since it is cheaper) -> Richmond, VA (stay one night) -> Charleston, SC(stay one night) -> Savannah, GA -> Orlando, FL

The plan is still rough, and it is going to change with budget. I have a really tight budget (<$2000).

I appreciate it if you give my some advice.
