I thought the new UI update made the client software look too webpage-ish, but on their forums (looks like there is no option to switch to the beta version for the rest of the site yet…), it actually looks pretty good. 0.0

Oh yes, that dream

Jeidai, me, my family and Jeidai’s family were on a bus, visiting relatives in Sacremento, when I realized I needed to take a shower. Luckily! There was a shower in the back!

Ummm…turns out…the back didn’t offer a lot of privacy (there were windows everywhere). And when we reached a bus stop, people got into the back area, where I wanted to shower. o.o So much for that plan.

I knew I had to get back to everyone else before we end up getting separated, because I knew if I did, I would end up at an alternate version of the school after it was taken over by Disneyland and abandoned! :O

(Luckily I managed join up with everyone. The end. )

“Oh noes, no right click!”

Plug in a two-button mouse. Those of us who have been playing games on the Mac for some time now, probably would’ve gotten tired of Apple’s one button mouse and gotten ourselves a regular PC mouse.

(Aaaaand not to mention I’m on a laptop, so while I’ve mastered the touchpad for non-gaming activities like Photoshop or internet browsing, I don’t know if I want to try it with an FPS. o.o)

“Macs aren’t as good for gaming as PCs are”

Suuuuuuure, my almost one year old MacBook Pro might not be as superpowered as my superpowered PC (which is only about three months old…), but with my 4GB of DDR2 RAM, I was able to run Left 4 Dead 2 on my Windows partition on it just fine. Maybe there were a few blips, but all I needed to do was turn down some video settings, so there were less problems. Any lag I experienced in L4D2 was because someone else at our house was using the internet at the same time as me. Any other problems I experienced? Didn’t interrupt gameplay.

Well now…

After getting my shiny new desktop PC, I guess I could use my MBP for Mac-only games on Steam. XD (This makes me a little happeh. I like the Mac UI. Good for lazy folks…like me. And the font-smoothing thing OS X has is pritty. Maybe when more software developers start developing for OS X along with Windows, I can do a Hackintosh thing and get OS X to run on my PC. 8D)

(I wonder if I could delete my Windows partition now. 0.0)

Still can’t wait for the software to come with other official skins though. ^^; (Dunno if I want to use 3rd party skins with a beta release just yet…)

And y’know…

I am going to miss the old look. o.o
