Lil' Wayne Hammersmith Apollo shows postponed

Multi-platinum selling, Grammy Award winning artist Lil Wayne regrets to announce the postponement of his forthcoming European shows due to illness. Wayne, his band and crew arrived in Europe with full intention of performing but were forced to cancel the dates due to doctor-mandated rest.

Management is actively working on rescheduling the shows and expects to have a new set of dates confirmed for later in year.Lil' Wayne extends an apology to his fans for the short notice of this postponement but looks forward to returning for the performances and visitation with his fans. Fans should hold onto their tickets and wait for news of rescheduled dates

OASIS AND THE KILLERS TO HEADLINE V FESTIVAL 2009 SET TO BE THE SUMMER'S HOTTEST TICKET

V Festival, sponsored by Virgin Media, returns for its fourteenth year with a truly heavyweight line-up for 2009. With 168 days to go, V promises a bill of must see acts with some of the biggest and best names in music today. Over the 22nd & 23rd August 2009 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire, festival goers will unite once again for a weekend to remember culminating with mighty headliners The Killers and Oasis. Tickets go on sale at 10am on Friday 6 March and music fans are being advised to get there's fast!

A collection of music's elite has signed up to give V the best bill yet. Bands old and new will entertain music aficionados and festival debutantes alike giving them one hell of an experience. Headliners Oasis and The Killers, V icons Razorlight and Snow Patrol, other favourites including music maestros such as Fatboy Slim, Keane, The Specials, Elbow as well as festival newcomers like Pendulum, The Tings Tings, MGMT and Lady Ga Ga will be lighting up both sites.

The Virgin Media Union stage sees lyrical genius Peter Doherty take to the stage and will be joined by a host of other exciting acts to be announced in the coming weeks. Strongbow and Bacardi are also back with a bang this year with exciting news of their offerings to be announced soon.

COLDPLAY, PRESENTED BY RADIO ONE, ANNOUNCE 3 STADIUM SHOWS IN THE UK FOR SEPTEMBER 2009 INCLUDING A DATE AT LONDON'S WEMBLEY STADIUM. THE BAND WILL BE JOINED BY VERY SPECIAL GUEST JAY Z FOR THE 3 HUGE SHOWS.

THEIR 2008 SOLD-OUT UK TOUR OPENS IN SHEFFIELD ON NOVEMBER 29 AND INCLUDES THREE NIGHTS AT LONDON'S O2 IN DECEMBER.

"VIVA LA VIDA - PROSPEKT'S MARCH EDITION" WILL BE RELEASED ON NOVEMBER 24; THE TWO DISC SET COUPLES THE ORIGINAL ALBUM WITH A SECOND DISC CONTAINING 8 PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED TRACKS. THESE TRACKS WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE SEPARATELY ON AN EP.

On November 24 Coldplay release a two disc set "Viva La Vida - Prospekt's March Edition". The second CD features 8 previously unreleased tracks, which are also available separately as an EP.
The album "Viva La Vida" was released in June and charted at No 1 in 36 countries, including the UK and USA.

Take That made history today as their summer 2009 stadium tour, The Circus – Live, became the fastest selling tour in UK history. Over 600,000 tickets were snapped up by 1.30pm, smashing all UK box office records to date including that held by Michael Jackson for his ‘87 Bad Tour.

“We are, once again, totally astounded by the response today and amazed at being able to break such records - we feel very privileged to be in this position at such a time. We’re all meeting up this afternoon to start planning next summer and promise to make it the very best show we’ve ever done. See you in 2009!”

The band have just released two final dates, 23 June in Manchester and 5 July at London’s Wembley Stadium bringing the tally of people expected to see them next summer to over 700,000.

Take That release their brand new album. The Circus, the long awaited follow-up to the nine times platinum Beautiful World, on 1 December through Polydor Records. The first single from the album, Greatest Day, is out on 24 November.
