Hey guys,

I just thought I would write a little note to let you know the tour dates are finally all rescheduled for early next year and we’ve added an extra London Brixton show. I would like to say thanks to you all for your kind messages and your patience over the last couple of months, it has been frustrating for all involved but I’m happy to say that we will be back on the road soon.

Morrissey - Liverpool Latest

Event organisers are working with the artistes representatives to explore all ways of restaging the abandoned concert. Everyone involved in the show is deeply upset that the actions of one individual have spoiled the evening for the thousands of genuine fans and for Morrissey himself.

In the event this cannot be rearranged due to scheduling problems a full refund will be offered to all customers who purchased tickets from the authorised outlets. Organisers appreciate your patience while we work to try and resolve.

Information regarding refund process and / or any new date will be posted on venue website / www.gigsandtours.com and notifed directly to customers where possible by email.

PLACEBO WIN BEST ALTERNATIVE ACT AT MTV EMAs

Placebo capped a brilliant 2009 in Berlin by scooping the award for Best Alternative Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards. The band beat off stiff competition from Paramore, The Prodigy, Muse and The Killers to pick up the prize which is just reward for their constant touring and brilliant new album “Battle For The Sun”.

Brian Molko said of the award “What makes it so significant is that it’s been voted for by fans and MTV viewers and that’s why we’re so touched.”

As the end of the year closes in, the upcoming tour is the perfect chance to see the band do what they do best and show just why they are worthy winners of the award as they play dates in December, including the O2 in London, which is set to be the highlight of an already breathtaking live calendar. MORRISSEY TO RESUME UK TOUR AT LONDON'S ROYAL ALBERT HALL

Following the cancellation of his Bournemouth and Swindon shows on medical grounds, Morrissey is set to resume his Autumn UK tour at London's Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday 27th October.

The current tour will see Morrissey visit Leeds, Sheffield, Salisbury and Brentwood culminating with two very special shows at Liverpool's Echo Arena and London's Alexandra Palace in November.

Everything possible is currently being done to reschedule Morrissey's postponed Bournemouth O2 Academy and Swindon Oasis shows. Customers are advised to await news shortly regarding potential new dates or refund.

Muse celebrate global chart success with The Resistance

Muse are currently celebrating the success of their fifth studio album, ‘The Resistance’ having achieved a staggering 15 #1’s across the globe. The band topped the UK charts this weekend with close to 150,000 album sales, making it the biggest selling album by a UK artist this year.

THE COURTEENERS NEW LIVE DATE ANNOUNCED FRIDAY 11th DECEMBER MANCHESTER CENTRAL

The Courteeners will play a very special live gig on Friday 11th December at Manchester Central (formerly G Mex). This exclusive one off date will be the largest the band have ever played and promises to be a truly amazing evening with support from very special guests Buzzcocks and The Whip.

Liam: "Trying to keep this show a secret since we confirmed a month ago, has been tough to say the least. Headlining Manchester Central at Christmas time, with Buzzcocks and The Whip in support - how are you supposed to keep that quiet? For me it's the beginning of the next Chapter in our story, just before our next record is released. It's almost a year since we played the Apollo gigs in Manchester, so we've been building up to this for a long time. Come December, we'll be ready to explode. I can't wait. LJF x"
