Thanks for that. I had also seen a large rabbit-dog and a dancer - at least those were my interpretations.

Your trivia is most welcome. The view from above shows the 'cedar' form I believe, as you can see in the map top right.

You are lucky to be living in Beirut and enjoying all the priviledges that comes with it, and by priviledges I mean the availability of an internet connection!

"Did you know that in Arabic the word for health is sometimes used instead of fat?"
That's true especially for the older generation!
Besides I just wanted to add that Mediterraneans (both men and Women) have a wider frame, and a wider basin. I speak from experience in European men's wear styles. It is very hard for me to find pants that can truly seem elegant around my waist (even when I was thinner than now)!

the stick man is part of a larger installation by architect Nadim Karam:
http://www.hapsitus.com/hapsiflex.php#!sect=42&grp=4&id=4&pic=1
http://www.hapsitus.com/hapsi.php?sect=42&grp=&id=5&pic=2
was very interesting at the time... but now, it seems to have fallen into oblivion. But the work is still doing what it was originally conceived for.

felt like adding my bit of trivia, but he just happens to be one of my favorite Lebanese architects.
