I’m a few short weeks away from giving birth to baby number three. My oldest was born in our apartment with a team of midwives. My second was born in our freshly painted new home on the coldest day of the year. My third… well… we will see what she has in store for us!

My midwives have said that third borns are unpredictable. They said to keep open hands and an open heart on my expectations. I guess third borns want to make a name for themselves from the moment they enter the world. To be honest, I’m not worried about it. Little baby girl can enter this world however she sees fit. I’m just excited to meet her and see her sweet face.

Thinking about pregnancy, labor, and postpartum has looked so different this time around. I’m not as focused on the labor. I’m locked in on postpartum. I want to set my 4th trimester up for as much success and healing as possible. I want to feel nourished, cared for, loved, and uplifted as a mother in this new season of life. I want to eliminate all extra stress and expectations from my life. My goal is to stay in bed and absorb these moments before I blink and they’re gone.

I started researching all of the best ways to prepare for postpartum. I researched online, read books and even used Chat GBT. Yes… even chat. Here’s what I decided was most important for me. Nourishment. I want to feel WELL nourished postpartum. I want to eat food that heals me from the inside out. I want organic, holistic, herbal and regenerative foods to help me heal.

That’s when I came across one of the most delicious looking postpartum meal delivery services.

Restorative Roots is an organic postpartum meal delivery service in the United States that serves mothers through organic healing foods. Their meals come freezer ready and are designed to feed the mother for the first 42 days plus postpartum. During her most vulnerable stage of healing when she needs nourishment the most.

I have the essentials box from Restorative Roots headed to my house this week. I am absolute giddy about having these meals in my freezer ready to go. If you’re a pregnant mama (or you want to bless a pregnant mama) having organic ready to go meals in your freezer is the biggest gift you can give yourself postpartum.

You can go directly to Restorative Roots and use my code: BETHANY for $20 off your first order.

Ep 176 – Many Christian women have completely suppressed their sexuality and are pretending that they aren't sexual in any way. This has created a generation of Christian women who believe their sexuality is more of a curse than a blessing. The switch didn't flip when they got married and sex within marriage is miserable as well.

We're going to unpack why God's design for sexuality is actually a BLESSING and how to embrace your sex drive in a good God-designed way.

Ep 175 – Choosing to stay home with your kids isn't the most glamorous job. In fact, there aren't promotions, raises, or a paycheck. You won't get an annual company party with other employees celebrating your achievements and patting you on the back. Most often the opposite is true. You're left exhausted by the end of the day. The accolades are few. The rewards aren't always visible. So why do women choose homemaking and motherhood? Is it possible that this path is even MORE fulfilling than most other career choices?
