On May 10th we’ll be returning to one of our favorite venues on earth, the Narrows Center for the Arts for a co-bill show. So, that means your gonna get a full set from both GGG and from Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys.

Then May 11th we’ll be opening for Big Sandy & His Fly-Rite Boys and making our New Haven, CT debut at Cafe Nine.
We’ve been wanting to play this venue for a long time and we’re thrilled that our first show there will be with Big Sandy.

Very cool to see our album “Inverted Valentine” listed as one of their “40 Best Albums From Boston of All Time”.

The list spans albums that have come out over the past 40 years and many of these albums impacted my musical journey growing up here in Boston. We are easily the least known band on this entire list, but feels cool to get listed amongst some of the album I cut my teeth listening to.

Morphine’s “Cure For Pain” is pretty much the coolest album ever made, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones were the soundtrack to my youth. Growing up in Scituate, MA I don’t think I got in a car without a song from them coming on the radio or someone putting their disc in the CD player. And don’t even get me started on when MTV used to play videos.

A very impressive list, with a lot of extremely gifted players.

Chris has been working hard, shedding & learning from a lot of the guitar masters of Country, Jazz, Bluegrass, Western Swing, early Rock ‘n’ Roll & even Indie Rock. He’s a man of many tastes.

Over the past couple years Chris has been working to create his own style of country guitar playing to mimic a steel guitar without the use of a B-bender. Originally inspired by the steel guitar work of Don Helms, Chris has taken his sound and technique into a realm completely his own. You gotta see it to believe it.

Be sure to ask him about his set up when you see him at a show!!
