An accessory is like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae- it’s the finishing touch that pulls the outfit together and adds a bit of personality!

My everyday accessories consist or a ring of two and stud earrings, while my not-so-everyday accessories are only worn once in a while, when the outfit calls for that extra something.

Not big on accessories? Not to worry- start small by wearing just one piece at a time (like stud earrings or a ring),

and work your way up until you find your comfort zone.

The casual maxi dress should be a staple in every girl’s closet.

It can easily be dressed up or down with the addition of accessories, and works for every occasion from date night to a day at the beach.

DIY Lip Scrub

One of my absolute musts is making sure my lips are soft, flake-free and lipstick ready.

To get my pucker perfect, I concoct a lip scrub that works wonders:

1/2 tsp. Olive Oil

2 tbsp. Sugar (I prefer white, it’s grainier)

1 tsp. Honey

Combine the ingredients in the container of your choice, mixing until everything is thoroughly combined.

(You can add more sugar depending on how you want the consistency).

Once ingredients are mixed, apply a silver dollar-sized amount to lips.

Slowly massage for 1 minute and remove with a damp paper towel.
