You may have noticed posting slowed down a bit. Well, we've had a huge project in the works and I’m finally ready to share it!!!

Last summer, I started this fashion and beauty site. It was an instant hit and within a month or so, I was adding on the fabulous Nicole and Laura to save me help me out. It has been so fun and exciting - we've been having such a blast with this - but I've been not sure what to do next.

Well, a few weeks ago, my friend Jo-Lynne (of Chic Critique) and I decided to partner up and merge our style blogs into an amazing new site that goes beyond just beauty and fashion to include All Things Chic.

We’ve been talking and meeting and working and talking and building the site over the past few weeks and it’s FINALLY READY!! We are SUPER EXCITED!!! It is in the process right now and should be up and running any minute now!

We have combined our amazing contributors and added a few fresh faces, and we will be posting fresh content multiple times a day. Topics are not just limited to women’s fashion and beauty, but we’ll also be sharing our chic and stylish finds for the home and family. There will be a lot of new features and great giveaways and tons of fun, and - our favoirte part is that everything we post is accessible to real women like you and me. We may talk about high design occasionally, but rest assured that we're probably going to include "get the look for less" options with it.

Next week we are planning a HUMONGO-FANTABULOUS Launch Party with some really sweet giveaways and lots of great style tips so be sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter so you don’t miss anything.

Kelly Rutherford is such a stylish mama - having kids has not diminished her elegant-casual style one bit! And she always has the knack for adding a killer handbag to complete her outfit!

Man, even grocery shopping she looks fabulous!

Now here's the exciting news: Kelly is launching her own handbag line and its debuting in February on QVC! (Feb 25th at 8pm to be exact!)

These are totally gorgeous bags -The Kelly Dome Satchel (top and bottom pic) is perfect for a busy mom on the go. (Meaning super chic and stylish, but still has room for diapers!) I also love the Kelly Evening Clutch - how fun for a date night! Elegant and trendy, but still a total classic!

Ever since I discovered that there's a bun growing in my oven, I've been positively obsessed with all things baby. Baby furniture, baby nursery ideas, baby fashion. It's all delicious. And ohsoprecious.

During my perusings around the interwebs, I discovered hanna anderson.

They sell fashion for the whole family, but what got my attention were their adorable little baby pilot caps. I mean, look how precious:

in gray! so that I can force my love of non-colorful colors onto my baby!

Ok, I know this is supposed to be about the hat, but don't you just want to suck on those cheeks? No? Just me? Moving on.....

The thing I love most about these hats is that they're so unique. You won't find them on every baby in your personal circle, and I kind of like that. Then again, that could just be me; I'm one of those people who bought the Scion xB because it was so different from everything else. But I digress.

Also cool? It comes in organic cotton as well, if that tickles your fancy.

Yes. That's right. I'm writing to you about hair elastics.

What am I, twelve?

In all seriousness though, investing in good hair elastics can save your hair! While we all love throwing our hair back in a messy ponytail, tying a tight band around your hair not only leave kinks, but creates a weak spot in the hair shaft. And that can only result in hair breakage. Not to mention, elastics can so easily get stuck in hair causing you to pull out chunks when trying to free your hair band from your mane.

The solution? Head to your nearest drugstore and splurge on some quality hair elastics. And by splurge I mean toss $2.99 on the counter. Where: to a friend's birthday party and out to celebrate afterwards! Another supercold night in Cleveland, so I bundled up with tights and booties. What can I say, I love black and blue together!

review: conair ion shine hair dryer

I just got this Conair Lightweight Ionic Ceramic Styler Dryer for Christmas and I totally love it! (I really needed a new hairdryer - my old one smelled like burning metal when I used it.) This one is fantastic!

Its super light and very quiet. I'm amazed at how quickly it dries my hair - my hair usually takes a really looooong time to dry. But with this I can dry my hair in about 5 minutes. It has three heat settings, two speed settings, and three attachments, so you have a lot of options to customize your styling.

I was in Target the other day and saw my new hair dryer... and it was on sale for only $20!! I am amazed that such a great hair dryer can be so affordable (especially compared to some of the $100 models on the market right now).

As a followup to our original camera bag find, I couldn't help but scour the internet (for hours I tell you) looking for more options. As a part-time photographer, I regularly rock this beaut:

Which my husband bought for me...and it is amazing. Especially for weddings/photo sessions because you can hold EVERYTHING in it and the sling back makes it easy to access your camera and lenses at a moments notice. But let's be honest, it's not very practically to be hauling around when we're exploring our own town or playing tourist elsewhere.

This is where fabulous, lady-friendly camera bags come into play! So many options, so many colors, so little time to convince Husband that I need them all!

1) My personal favorite and coveted bag, JoTotes! Each bag is water-resistant and has 1/2 inch foam sewn in to protect your precious cargo. The splashy inside fabrics are what get me. JoTotes range from $89-$94.

2) A flashback to our original post, Epiphanie bags are to die for. I love the braided detailing on the new Clover bag...and the bright pop of color! You can even carry your laptop AND your camera in this bag at the same time! Style and function. This bag runs for $184.

3) And happiness can be found at Kelly Moore. Stylish, classic designs in gorgeous colors. Need I say more? I'm completely coveting this mustard hobo, complete with two movable padded sections inside for flexible storing. Kelly Moore bags range from $159 to $249.

4) For your longer days playing tourist, an Emera bag is perfect. Plenty of room in this tote for your camera, lenses and all your purse needs! You just have to decide between the quilted or classic canvas versions! Both are $169.

5) If you're looking for a more neutral option, this jill e bone and black bag is sure to be a good splurge. Water resistant leather, a shoulder strap option and plenty of pockets for all your accessories. At $239 it's a bit more money, but will last you for years.
