HOT TRENDS is one of my latest self project. This tool is simply a brief summary of Google Trends’ top 100 keywords. It displays the rank, keyword trend, hotness, and progress of a certain keyword trend. If you are a regular user of Google Trends and loves to blog trending keywords that brings traffic, then make this website tool as guide for choosing your blog topics.

Tips how to use HOT Trends

Want to blog for hot topics? Then follow this few tips

Always look for volcanic topics, I tagged it using this image .. Make a research from that keyword, and make a blog post about it
Emerging volcanic topics can be easily seen and usually appear from the TOP 4 to 10.. a and may become a volcanic topic after few hours.. always check the progress rate. A progress rate of +50, +67, or +70 is a good sign of an emerging keyword from Google trends.
Not just volcanic, watch out also for redudant keywords. Gather these keywords and make a blog post on that topic.

Hope these tips can help you. But I do not assume that HOT Trends alone is a complete help for you to blog for traffic.

No, I didn’t shift to any web host, I just moved to Philhosting.net’s Zero Downtime Architechture webhost plan., just like what I mention in my comment on my previous post. I did the move last week. So far I didn’t see any down times nor receive any downtime email reports from Site Monitoring. Please inform me for missing pictures and missing directories, let me know if I missed something from restoring from my backup. Thanks

Nature Shine Wordpress Theme

Just another shameless plug of my new wordpress theme hehe. I named it Nature Shine because of its color and design combination. I made this theme two years ago, but I forgot to give it a promotion.

Download Nature Shine v1.3

I have already submitted Nature Shine theme from Wordpress.net a year ago. This wordpress theme has passed the Wordpress.net requirements. But when the new Wordpress.Org/Extend/Themes has arrived, my Nature Shine theme was removed from the official list of themes due to my Paradise Philippines SEO contest link signatures at the footer of this theme.
Now I cleaned up everything. Hope this theme will passed on the new Wordpress.Org WPtheme database just like my Techno Plain wordpress theme. The admins are very strict on requirements. All themes must use gravatars, and widget ready, etc.
By the way I do not made this theme to support my tnomeralc web design toys campaign , just want to push my Alexa and to restore my previous Technorati authority.

Wordpress 2.7.1 upgrade

Nothing new here, I have just upgraded my Wordpress 2.5 into Wordpress version 2.7.1

The dashboard and the new features rocks! Just want to share how I upgrade my Wordpress engine on this blog. Its fast and robust, but I would not recommend for you to try it.
Heres what I did:

Back up first, I backup everything via Wordpress XML export, next I download the Wordpress .SQL from my PhpMyAdmin to have a total database backup
I opened the Wordpress 2.7.1 installer zip file FROM MY COMPUTER, extract the zip file then remove the folder WP-CONTENT. Then I renamed the file wp-config-sample.php into wp-config.php with the previous wp-config server settings. Then I zipped it again, and uploaded the ZIP
Then on my CPANEL Filemanager, I manually select the folders and files of my previous Wordpress 2.5. EXCEPT the uploaded 2.7.1 Wordpress Installer Zipped file and the WP-CONTENT folder that contains my wordpress themes and uploaded pictures and docs,
After selecting the old Wordpress 2.5 files, I deleted them to make room for the new version
I was exposing my files at my site, because I deleted index.php, so I am in a hurry of UNZIPPING my uploaded wordpress 2.7.1.
After extracting the new version… I go to my WP Admin page, after login using my old username and password. The new dashboard has a prompt page, asking me to hit the UPGRADE button, to make some compatability updates on my Wordpress 2.7.1 database.
Its done!

Now everything works fine I know my upgrading process sucks. Let me know how do you upgrade your wordpress?

Looking for a new webhost

Hi guys, Sorry if my blog was down for several days, my webhost has a server problem. My newly installed wordpress 2.7 become Wordpress 2.5 again! OMG! And my November 2008 - December 2008 posts was lost.
I was restoring my previous post from the Google cache. Hope I can retrieve them all. By the way I am looking for a low cost but good webhost, it must be 99.99% uptime . Any recommendations? Thanks.
