Happy 4th of July to those who celebrate it. I really didn’t do much today, I went to the beach for a little while with my parents and sister and then went to my grandmother’s house. My grandfather told me that my car will be ready tomorrow. I’m so happy! It was about time, I’ve been without a car for almost two months so I’m really glad that I can finally go out and do things on my own.

This interview is a few days old, but I just had to share. My good friend Raúl sent me the video. I can’t wait for the movie, I loved Borat so I know I will probably like this one too. I know some people don’t really like Sasha Baron Cohen and his movies, but I find him hilarious.

R.I.P Michael Jackson

I was so shocked when I found out that Michael Jackson died yesterday. I had to wait until it was confirmed on reliable sources like CNN to believe it was actually true. The first source to report it was TMZ, and I don’t like to say they are legit but they were right with this one.

It’s so sad, I grew up listening to his music and I always wanted to dance like him, I remember I used to stand in front of the tv when videos of him came on and tried to learn the choreography of each video. He definitely was the King of Pop, each song had a beat and lyrics that drew you in. I thought he’d be alive forever and keep making music, but at least he left us with his wonderful music and very creative videos to remember him from. I was always a fan, even with all the controversy he was in, I respected him as an artist, because he was a true one.

He definitely will be missed. Also, RIP Farrah Fawcett, another icon that died yesterday. She was a beautiful woman, I remember I was so jealous of her wonderful and luscious hair.

Hacked

I noticed earlier that my blog wasn’t showing up, and when I check, files were deleted. I tried to use previous backups but it didn’t work so I had to install Wordpress again. I’m not able to import my older blog posts so I’ll have to do it manually. I won’t add them all because there are a lot, but I’ll get there.

Just wanted to let you all know, if you see any errors or anything out of place, please let me know!

Last night was the series premiere of HawthorRNe, a medical drama that is being broadcast on TNT. It stars Jada Pinkett Smith as the Chief Nursing Officer and Michael Vartan as Chief of Surgery. I read about this show a couple of weeks ago and it interested me since I like Jada as an actress. The first episode was good and it kept my interest, so I”ll probably keep on watching. If you like medical dramas, then I suggest you watch this show.

Damn Router

Our router decided to go “puff” and die yesterday. I’ve been having internet problems for a few days now, but we thought it was maybe our ISP that was having troubles. We realized that it was the router all along, so I hope my dad buys a new one soon because I”ll go crazy if I don’t have it.

have been working on a new theme for the site. I’m still tweaking it but I hope to release it soon. Well, my phone battery is low so I’ll blog later.

Left 4 Dead 2

I”m so excited! My favorite Xbox360 game has to be Left 4 Dead, I love zombie games, this one is awesome and one of the best multiplayer games out there. I was browsing around this afternoon on YouTube watching various video game trailers and somehow found the E3 2009 Teaser Trailer for Left 4 Dead 2. I had no idea they were making a second one, I figured it would have been a while for a second game to be developed since the Survival Pack (Expansion for the first game) was released not so long ago. This makes me really excited, since unlike the first game, it will not be that limited in terms of weapons, items and melee attacks will be implemented. The location, characters, bosses will be different which makes it really cool too, we have variety, but I”ll definitely miss the old characters.

The release date is set for November 17, 2009. I can”t wait! Here’’s the teaser trailer:

Testing PostBot from my G1

I’ve installed several applications on my G1 phone to update this website, but none of them worked so I gave up for a while. I found this application called PostBot, so let’s see if it works.

Sometimes, when I’m out, there are times when I really want to blog but I’m not able to because there isn’t an app that works and I don’t really want to use the browser, type the URL to Wordpress, login and then make a post, that takes too much time. So I really hope this works.

I’m so glad that my semester is officially over. I must say, this was probably the most frustrating semester ever, I know I could have done much better. I’ll try better next time… it wasn’t all bad though, I met great people and enjoyed spending time with them. Let’s see how next semester goes, I hope it’s better.

My car is still getting fixed, it’s almost done though. I can’t wait to go out again, I hate depending on other people in terms of transportation. I’ve been so used to driving everywhere myself for the past two years, that when my car breaks down, it really frustrates me. When I get my car back I really want to go to the movie theater and watch Terminator Salvation and Drag Me to Hell, I’m really impressed by the reviews of Drag Me to Hell. It’s nice that it’’s an original movie, not another remake or prequel like the horror genre has been doing lately.

Same Thing, Different Day

With finals and my last day’s of the semester going on, I haven’t been really motivated to blog or make updates. But, right now I’m taking a little break from studying and decided to make one quick update. Like the blog title says, everything has been basically the same. I’ve been pretty busy with school and all the assignments and tests I need to do. I thought I was going to be done with finals tomorrow. But, apparently, one professor decided to give a final at the last minute, it’s next week so at least I have some time to study for that. After that, I’ll be done for the semester, which I’m really excited and happy about because this was a very stressful semester, I’m glad it’s over.

I’ve been going out to the movies quite a bit lately, I recently saw Star Trek, I won a contest through Twitter and won two tickets to the movie premiere here in Puerto Rico. I went with my boyfriend, the movie was absolutely wonderful, probably the best I’ve seen this year. And you don’t have to be familiar with the Star Trek series to enjoy it, it’s really good. I also saw Angels & Demons, it was a really interesting movie. I liked it better than Da Vinci Code.

I will leave this blog post short because I need to keep studying but I’ll update more often once I finish finals.
