As much as I love glam-girl.org, I think it’s time to use a domain that’s more personal. I’ve had glam-girl.org since 2003. It has been a blast. I’m still working on editing the theme on the other site to match the domain name, I should be posting the link to the new domain within the next two days.

A big thank you to everyone that has read Glam-Girl.Org over the years, I’ve always appreciated that. Now, you can read me elsewhere, I’ll post the link asap, I promise!

Day 30 of the 30 Day Blog Challenge

The past thirty days have been very interesting. I had never blogged for more than 7 days straight so I’m really happy I was able to do this. I plan to keep blogging every day, or at least every two days, so I hope I can do that. There have been many good things that have happened in the last month. First, it was my boyfriend Juan‘s 21st birthday, I’m so proud of him and everything he is doing. He’s a very sweet and good man, I couldn’t have asked for a better person to have as my partner, as my love, as my best friend.

I began another semester at UPRB, it is my fourth year and I was very excited to see my friends again. I still have another year, maybe two, to graduate, there’s no rush though. Last, but not least, I’ve been able to control some issues that have been going on in my head. The mind is our greatest weapon, but it can also be our worst enemy. So it feels good to be able to control it and avoid being anxious.

A picture of you last year and now and how have you changed since then?

2009

2010

The transition between 2009 and 2010 was a long and very interesting one. I gave my best to people that didn’t deserve it. I tried to do better with anything university related, which I did, and it’s something I’m proud of. I met somebody who changed my life, who became my best friend instantly, someone that became my blessing and part of my happiness. There were some bumps on the road, sure, but I’m grateful that I had them. They have shaped me to the person I am today, I always want happiness and I don’t enjoy being around people that will tamper with that. I have always been an honest person. Recently, I’ve had to be more honest, there are people that don’t like that, but hey, that’s a part of who I am, and I’m not a hypocrite. Like I say, don’t do to others what you wouldn’t like to be done to you.

This is my favorite picture I took on my trip to Culebra, PR this past February. Culebra is such a beautiful island and the beaches are amazing, I had never seen an ocean with water so clear.

• I hate public bathrooms, I don’t use them unless it’s absolutely necessary.
• I love thunder storms.
• I hate when people don’t use their signals when changing lanes while driving.
• I don’t like when people keep repeating what I need to do.
• I hate to see Animal Abuse… I love animals, and it breaks my heart that there are people so cruel that would do something like that.
• I can get really paranoid/nervous at times.
• I have a tattoo on my lower back, it’s an Udjat (aka. Eye of Ra)
• I have been in a relationship with Juan for a few months but it feels like we’ve been together for years.
• I want to travel the world, and I’m determined to visit as many places as I can.
• I am a very honest person, if I don’t like something, I’ll say it. If I disagree, I’ll say it, but I always do it respectfully.
• When I was little, I didn’t really like my middle name. Now, I love it!
• I would love to be fluent in at least 4 languages.
• I sometimes think about alternate realities, and imagine what things would be like if I’d done things differently in a specific situation.
• I believe we are not the only intelligent beings out there.
• I always want peace and happiness in my life, it’s my number one goal. To live a life filled with happiness and smile as much as I can. I try to stay optimistic and see the glass half full always.
