RImmel Lasting Finish by Kate Moss Shade 101 Swatch & Review

Every time I am at the drugstores I am always picking these up. The formula on these are quite amazing. This color is from the matte collection in the shade 101. It is a gorgeous light baby pink and even looks a little lavender on camera.

It feels great on your lips, very smooth yet still matte. The color is very build-able and smells amazing. The fragrance on these are so pleasant. These have great longevity and for me they did transfer the first time, but after that my lipstick is on for most of the day. Love the pigmentation on these and like I said this particular color is very build-able.

Zoya: Irresistable Summer 2013 Swatches

First I want to say I am finally back after a break from my blog. I have been so busy in my salon and at home. But I am finally back to catch up on everything!

Irresistible is the second part to the Zoya Summer 2013 collection. It is very different from the stunning collection which you can see here. These colors are shiny and sparkly and very bold.

Rikki was more sheer on application, I used three coats here.

Hazel was a great formula went on perfect only two coats

Kerry was my least favorite. It went on very heavy and clumpy and the glitter in this one stuck around more than the others.

Bobbi went on bright and only needed two coats.

Amy's formula was also thick. Went on pretty heavy, used two coats.

Tinsley was my favorite application and color. It went on very sheer and was able to build color. This was three coats

I apologize ahead of time I am not the best at applying nail polish, I hated doing anything nail related in school! I have very shaky hands when I am concentrating, but I tried to capture the true color as much as possible!

The consitancy of Darcy was very thin, this required 3 coats.

Thandie is a great color and only required 2 coats.

Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation Swatches & Review

Another hot and popular foundation buzzing all over is the Covergirl Outlast 3 in 1. It claims to be a primer, concealer, and foundation in one. I did find I did not need any primer or bb cream under this foundation. It went on evenly and smooth. The consitancy is pretty thick but not heavy feeling at all. It has a 14 shades to choose from.

Ok so I am horrible and picking out foundations from drugstores, its hard matching your skin through the bottle. So I am always standing there looking up swatches and even then it's still tough. Well, I thought I picked the right color and as you can see below it does seem to match my tone well. Keep in mind the back of my hand is pretty fair compared to my face. Another thing is one pump goes a LONG way! You'll see below.

Medium Beige 842

You can tell that once the foundation starts drying and hitting the air it definitely oxidizes. So I do recommend getting a shade lighter. This shade was also a little too pink for my skin tone. But for it being noticeably a shade too dark it did an amazing job at blending into my skin on my face. No lines, looked perfect! I'm headed to exchange this now and I think I might get a couple more shades to be sure. But this foundation has definitely exceeded my expectations. From the flawless application to the lightweight feel I have found a new drugstore favorite!

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation Review & Swatches

Finally, I got this foundation! I have been asking about it for a month now and have just never made it to the drugstore. I am so happy I tried this out, there are so many mixed reviews out there that can make it difficult to want to buy.

I applied this at 10:30am and it lasted all night. I worked till 9pm the night I tried it and my makeup looked fresh like when I applied it. I would say that this is a little more dewy than some foundations and if your skin type is oily, I would recommend a setting powder. The consistency is very liquidy and a little goes a long way. The coverage I found myself getting was light to medium. I don't think this is very buildable, any more than a layer and you might be looking at more of a cakey look. But this is why it is called "naked". It gives you a great lightweight feel with coverage. I also found that it does really well at covering up my redness.

Swatch did really well at covering all my freckles.

Overall, I love the Revlon Nearly Naked. I am going to do some comparisons with the Urban Decay Naked Skin as well, I think this compares pretty well.

I didn't take photos all day to show the lasting power but I did take this photo at about 5pm when I started work and my foundation looks great 6 hours later!

I don't usually venture outside my daily perfumes, but I'm glad I did. This perfume is so smooth and light, it isn't overpowering at all. With some floral notes as well as a vanilla-musk smell, this perfume smells great. I love the packaging as well. It even has a little lock on it, you have to remove it in order to spray. Which I love considering I have a curious little one at home.

Overall I am very impressed with this perfume and now I am on the hunt to try more! This 1.7oz bottle retails for about $29.00, although I have seen a $10 price decrease all over the internet.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsticks- Kate Moss Collection 12 & 102 Swatches

I can honestly say that I have never tried any Rimmel lip product, ever. I actually have been dying to get my hands on the Apacolips collection but sadly it's not available in the US yet. I saw these and remember seeing them quite frequently on blogs. The colors are gorgeous and for $2.79 each I should have got more!

I got one matte color (102) and a regular one (12).

This color looks different once applied, looking at it I thought it would be more of a lighter coral-red. But once applied it is a gorgeous color with slightly more orange tones. With great pigmentation this color is so flattering with my skin tone.

The matte pink is pretty true to it's color, it looks the same on a swatch. Even though it's matte, it is drying at all. In fact it's weird because while it looks matte it feels very moisturizing at the same time. These both do transfer easy but I didn't need to re-apply for at least 4 hours.

Pigmentation: 10/10

Longevity: 9/10

Texture:10/10

This has to be the most gorgeous red I have ever tried. I can't stop wearing it. I am definitely going back for more!

Drugstore Haul- Walgreens

Walked in to get the Nearly Naked Foundation and ended up spending $45 in makeup! It isn't easy going drugstore shopping! I felt like I picked up enough stuff do do a haul!

I have been hearing so many mixed reviews about the Revlon Nearly Naked I had to try it myself. Same thing with the CoverGirl Outlast Stay Fabulous Foundation. Everything I got was on my wishlist so at least I was productive!!

New to the nail polish world is a new sand like texture, with no topcoat needed these polishes give you glittery sand like looks. I love the colors that Zoya put out for spring, nice light pastel and neutral colors. I like the texture a lot, some might not like that gritty feeling but they really do look gorgeous. I have been wearing London on my nails since Monday and have had no chipping at all. They say not to use a topcoat with these because it will disrupt the texture look.

Removal isn't too bad, just like any other glitter these will take a bit of time taking them off. If you do however want a topcoat, I suggest using a few coats to completely cover the gritty feeling.

Please excuse my nail polish skills in the first three swatches, my super short nails makes it a little difficult to be perfect! But the last three are on my sisters gorgeous nails!

The next three swatches are on my sister's nails. I was using her as a hand model all day till she got tired of rubbing her nail polish off lol.

I love this palette it has three bright shades and five classic shades, all with great pigmentation. I really am liking the size of the palette, it easily fits in your makeup bag or purse, while most palettes have to stay at home because of their size. Using these colors with the Aqua Eyes Collection will be perfect!

Don't be intimidated by the bright and bold colors, they apply a lot more subtle but can be layered for a bolder look.

I swatched these twice, once so you can see how light they apply and the second you can see how build able they are for a more intense look.

With my newly red hair this was perfect for me to try! Everyone knows red is a pain in the butt but it's so darn gorgeous! A lot of my clients won't even touch red because of how quickly it fades. Using this shampoo for the past couple weeks has extended the color of my hair. Using this and the weekly treatments (review soon) my hair looks freshly died and vibrant.

I really like the consistency of the shampoo I've never really experienced anything like it. It is very gel like and lathers so well. A little goes a long way, even with those with long hair like mine. We always think we need a handful of shampoo, not the case here. The conditioner is really good at detangling. My hair is so long it gets really tangled, I always have to spend a lot of time working the conditioner through. Once I apply it it immediately starts breaking down my tangles and leaves my hair feeling like butter!

Overall, I am very impressed with Redken, although they never disappoint, this product really helps me between hair dyes.

It's no secret that Aveeno is my all time favorite brand, from adult products to baby products my whole family uses it. When I found out about their new BB cream I was so thrilled! Aveeno's skin care products do wonders for my face as it is. And with my obsession for BB Creams I was excited to try this.

This BB Cream is in the shade fair to light and disperses through a pump. I would say this can be used as a light or medium coverage. The product is very buildable without feeling heavy or thick. The feeling it leaves on your skin is velvety smooth and semi matte. It isn't matte to the point of dryness or a cakey look. All I can say is how smooth and silky the feeling is. I love that it color corrects your skin tone also, brightening up your face. One of my favorite things is that I feel it does a really great job and covering up my pores,that is my biggest issue on my face.

Overall I am very satisfied with this BB Cream, having only one shade might be a bummer to some but I'm sure soon more shades will be available.
