You can absolutely make money shooting part time, might even be the best way to do it.

Have you ever had any massive hardware failures right in the middle of a shoot? (cameras, lighting, etc.)

Yes in Hawaii one time it rained in the middle of an outdoor shoot and ruined three lights, several battery power pack and a light meter.

This was all the light I had with me on location and on the island. Can you say break out the reflectors? The job must go on!

Some girls have it naturally, some have to be taught and sorry to say there are people that simply are not photogenic.

Also I don’t care how good a photographer you are there are people you can’t make stunning images of… you can make great images of that individual. But let’s be honest those images will not stand up against images of a beautiful, skilled, experienced model.

I know that is not going to be politically correct but I am just being honest in my opinion.

Yes I remember my first ( paid ) nude shoot!

I was 18 and she was a fashion model, and she wanted to make some extra money and had submitted to penthouse. She was accepted and came to me to shoot it for her. I was happy to do so.

No at that time I was doing it as a favor and really was focused on being a fashion photographer.

Of all the models you’ve shot — and you’ve got quite nice collection I might add!! — do any of them stand out as having that extra "it" factor when it comes to posing?

Of course I have models that you turn to when you know you have a hard job or that you need a particular look and feel from.

Diana Kauffman is one of those, when I need someone to play a character she is the girl, she is an actress and does great work.

If you need a model to be peel the paint of the walls sexy then Aria is a consistent winner.

Need a exotic, soft, intense, sexy, young look than no better than Launa Lani.

Lots of the models I work with have that it factor… I am very blessed to work some of the best models in the world.

Chicago Workshop

I have not looked recently, but I normally hit over a hundred thousand on a body. Yes I carry a back up body at all times. i don’t carry back up lens because I have enough over lap that I can get by if one fails.

Do you know any photogs that have basically shot their credibility because they didn’t know how to keep things ‘professional’ while shooting gorgeous women? I’m curious how often that kind of thing happens.

I know of photographers that have, models talk… heard of Twitter, FB? I have seen reputations ruined in a matter of hours.

I would not say its often but believe me the models share info about jerks.

LoL I don’t know of an anti viagra, except that if you approach your work with a serious attitude and professionalism things seem to take care of itself.

Plus I have so much on my mind with lighting, posing, clothes, makeup and everything that getting aroused is the last thing on my mind.
