Looking forward to being in Glenfarne on August 21-23 with the children of Michael and Rose Mawn (RIP) for a bit of a family reunion. My aunts and uncles are hoping to see any and all old friends and family left in the area. Until then, all the best.

My Grandfather was John Thomas Magee/Mcgee born 1908 in Kilmacuril, Glenfarne ? (apologies if the spelling is incorrect). I would like to know a bit of my family history. My grandfather died in 1988 and his ashes were brought home to ireland to be with his parents and brothers and sisters, patrick, michael, kathleen & maggie/mary.

can anyone tell me how i would find out more about my family history as it means so much to me.

I am doing some family history research on the name Hudie. It is my Grandmother's surname, and I know VERY little about it, other than it's Irish. I have tracked it from my family in Michigan, to Huron County, Ontario Canada. I know they came to Canada from County Fermanagh. I was doing some raw web searches for the surname and stumbled on this page when seeing an inquiry about 'Roy Hudie' posted by Kevin Hudie.

If anyone could help me fill in some gaps here, or tell me more about the name I would be most grateful.

Kind regards,
Joe Robinson
