For the first time The Booker Prize has an iPhone app ready for download. This is a great app for the book lover - and for the price of... free...  you can't go wrong.

The app features listings (alas, not the actual books themselves) of not only the previous prize winners, but also the books that made the long-list. If you're looking for a good book this app would be a good place to start.

Just started this book - The Breaking Point. Very much enjoyed the first short story of the collection, called "The Alibi".

I first read some Daphne du Maurier literature back in school when we analysed the "The Birds" as part of an English lesson. I didn't appreciate the story - or Daphne du Maurier - back then, but now I'm making up for lost time.

Recently read: Bruce Lee Fighting Spirit.

An awesome, enlightening, revealing tragic tribute to the life of the legend that is Bruce Lee. A hero to both me and my dad.

This biography is as near to the truth as I think we're ever gonna get.

Recommended for fans of Bruce Lee. Or anyone who wants to learn about the life of an extraordinary human being.

Vernon God Little was 'fucken' awesome.

I particularly enjoyed the last few pages, where Vernon talks to Lasalle.

**BEWARE - SPOILERS AHEAD**

The pair discuss 'the secret', which is that we are all ultimately our own God - we are responsible for ourselves.

Gorgeous book, beautiful language.
