Happy Holiday Weekend

Happy rainy holiday weekend if you’re on the east coast, our holiday kicks off with down pours until Monday, ;( But I hope the rest of you are getting in the sun and rocking your new trends this weekend. I will be celebrating on Monday since that’s going to be the best day so I will be tweeting for sure!

Special thanks to the GlitterITCrew for all the support again and the new readers as well our Facebook Page is such a hit. I want to add much different content than the blog on that page so tell me some things we can add to make it more fab!

Style: Top Colors + Trends For Your Home

Summer is approaching time to do a small home makeover that will add some style and a fun fresh look. No need to spend a ton on trends buy the basics or transitional designs that go into the Fall season.

Every room needs a pop of color just to give it a change from the same look that you’ve seen for quite some time. You can invest in a new sofa, paint a rusty coffee table or even change the lamp shades to a floral, bold pop or creative your signature look.

Upgraded Headboard

The place where you luxuriate should be the most glamorous room and extremely comfy. Too add that glamour effect change up your headboard with a soft neutral shade, something unique or go all out on the design. Keep a various range of pillows in different shapes and textures for a fluffed out look.

Colored Walls

The simplest way to change up a room is with some paint so find a nice shade that you’ve been eyeing and add it in your weekend project. Do one wall or even a small section if you’re not 100 percent on the shade. Blend home accessories like flowers, vases or candles to make the transition easy as well.

While at The Makeup Show NYC I couldn’t help but notice MAKE Colour and their simple but striking packaging. The look was fresh, simple and the color options were on point for any woman looking for their favorite hue. I did get the scoop on this new brand from Anh-thu who showcased their new palette the Medieval Palette and their Matte Lipstick selection plus their makeup artist did use their Matte Lipstick in Putty, Cream Luminous Gloss in Date and Satin Finish Eye Shadows in Vintage Ivory and Bentonite Clay on me for a quick beauty makeover.
