This is a new source for an episode I first recovered about a decade ago. Labeled as ‘The Millennium Show’ and closing out the decade of the 1990’s, the last show where Y2K wasn’t yet a joke. Susan only has two known in studio appearances during the Adam era, her previous visit was on CLL #99 from February 14th 1996.

Over 50 audio drop outs were removed, in most cases the audio was simply delayed, in the rest it was deleted by the satellite feed 20 years ago. Brian from the band was even interviewed and asked about his appearance, they were trying to be engaging but unaware of the depth of Loveline, much like the band The Darkness. At least they made it through for half.

Robert is making his 3rd and final appearance of the Adam era and sadly doesn’t arrive before this recording cuts off. Update: The episode is now 99.9% complete just missing few seconds from some satellite drop outs, late affiliate returns from breaks and the tape flip. Overall it’s missing around 2 minutes of content. An episode once thought mostly lost forever, is now nearly 100% recovered with all of the portion featuring Robert making his final appearance on the show intact. RIP Robert Schimmel.

This is a new tape for an existing episode, first recovered in full back in 2008. Now with a huge audio upgrade. Perhaps the most important and sadly still relevant episode of 1999. Three Students from Columbine high school appear on the show. Alicia, Rich and Courtney are all making their only appearances on CLL. Adam keeps the show light and tells what is possibly the best version of the Take Out food order mixup story. The students walk the guys through the events of the shooting and prove to be terrific guests. This is truly a one of a kind episode.

The audio has a huge upgrade, Adam freaks on Drew in a continuation from their disagreement on #1054 with Ice T, regarding Drew not being back in the studio when the show has begun. This angry outburst leads to a very awkward welcome for Meredith making her only know appearance on the radio show. Fans are split on whether Adam was in the right and Drew was being a bad host or if the opposite was true, regardless they all agree it made for great radio. I hope you enjoy this

Jake is promoting the short lived UPN series ‘Shasta McNasty’ and making his first known appearance on CLL, he returns to the show two more times, once in 2000 and then his final visit to the show in 2003. Adam talks to Jake about drumming and learning from a musician who frequently worked with John Hiatt, they discuss Jake’s father Gary Busey and Adam’s experience filming a pilot with Gary in 1998. The episode is nearly 100% complete, just missing a few seconds from their discussion about the transition of Ron Howard and first call of the second hour.

Drew does not go off on Bob about Spin magazine and their reporting on HIV/AIDS, he seems to be holding his tongue and is fairly reserved throughout the episode. James The Zoosexual) – 01/18/1998 – Sunday Night Show Source – Board Captured Cassette Transfer from Engineer Mike Originally labeled as “Loveline – 1998-01-18 (Doggy Night) (HQ)” this file was distributed by Engineer Mike, only one other legendary show was also captured and distributed by him and that is the 1999 Pennywise Incident, Anderson’s first night on the show. One of the most infamous episodes in LoveLine history, mostly pertaining to caller James and his proclivities with his dog and the reactions from the staff in response to his call.

This is the only known source for this episode, it’s nearly 100% complete just missing a few seconds after the tape flip, after the station identification break. Adam goes into great detail about crashing his newest and most expensive model airplane that he invested dozens of hours into building and retrofitting. Adam tells Drew about his two days of searching for the wreckage, using an 8 foot ladder and binoculars with his good buddy Chris. This episode has been missing from existence since it originally aired.

It’s a Full Moon show with a theme of angry female callers who have rants, one even has prepared statements. Considered by many to be a perfect episode, we now get to hear the full show and see if it’s even superior than previously thought, let’s all listen together and find out!

This is a newly processed variant of an old Toby tape, never before shared on LovelineTapes. The pitch was off for this episode, a slight adjustment has it much closer to the correct tone and it’s now very listenable, Adam is sick and stuffed up so he does sound different, more nasally and his vocal tone is off, so adjusting pitch was a challenge as the music and Dr. Drew’s timbre were the only reliable audio sources. This show has never been fixed nor shared online since I first recovered it almost 10 years ago. Even I do not recall what happens, let’s all listen and find out!

Myles Berkowitz is making his only appearance on CLL promoting his movie ’20 Dates’ the episode is considered by some to be a standout episode as Adam and Drew are in rare form, others found Myles joke attempts and plugging to be annoying. This is the infamous episode from the night Dr. Drew was sick in Arlington Virginia and freaked out on Adam and their driver Ronnie who could not stop talking about food, while Drew was miserable in the backseat of his town car. Susan Pinsky makes a cameo for Valentine’s Day 1999, she returns on the phone for CLL #887 and then returns to the show in person to guest for the final episode of 1999.

This is the only known recording, the episode is 98% complete. There is some missing content in the body of the show but all of the breaks, intro and outro are intact. Rob Schneider “no showed” once again. The two known spots of missing content are a few seconds during the call from Diana the caller who can’t stop talking about her husbands softball anecdotes and then the majority of missing content, roughly 9 minutes are missing, a call about a bent penis cuts out and the show comes back in time to close out a call about the long term effects of ecstasy. Adam rants about the misinformation regarding ‘Animaniacs’ included in his new bio.

UPdated: This is a new merging of the two only known recordings, never before shared online and missing for the past 18 years, this is Wayne’s only appearance on the show during the Adam Carolla era,  this recording is now 100% complete. Wayne only stays for the first hour and has no known appearances on the MTV Show. Adam and Drew discuss Rose McGowan’s infamous dress from the 1998 VMA’s and her call into the Conway and Steckler show to confront Adam, akin to her Scream co-star David Arquette later in the year.

This is the only known recording, there was a previous Tobydog Tape that was incorrectly dated as this show and then later moved to Oct. 17th 1999, I transferred the Tobydog Tape but it’s unclear if there was a partial recording attached to it from this episode or not, This recording is 99% complete, only missing a few seconds around the 50min mark when Adam and Drew are talking about eating some burgers. A few seconds before the closing break and the closing break are also missing. This is the first time the show has been shared online, missing for 18 years. This is a 100% Complete brand new merging of all 3 known sources, the 2 newest and best have never  been shared before online. the show is now 100% complete. Brian is making what seems to be his radio show debut but Adam and Drew comment on how nice it was seeing him again, which could just be them referencing the MTV show, as He for sure guested on MTV Loveline which aired on April 16th 1998 and this seems to be from before Adam “robbed him of a homer” during one of the Celebrity All-Star or MTV rock and jock baseball games where that took place.
