کراچی...افضل ندیم ڈوگر...بین الاقوامی سفر کرنے والے شہریوں کے لئے خوشخبری ہے کہ کراچی میں کتابی شکل کے انٹرنیشنل ڈرائیونگ لائسنس کی جگہ کمپیوٹرائزڈ ڈرائیونگ لائسنس کا اجراء شروع کردیا گیا ہے۔ کراچی کی کلفٹن ڈرائیونگ لائسنس برانچ میں قائم کئے گئے انٹرنیشنل ڈرائیونگ پرمٹ سسٹم کا افتتاح ایڈیشنل آئی جی ٹریفک غلام قادر تھیبو نے کیا۔ پہلا انٹرنیشنل لائسنس بھی ایڈیشنل آئی جی ٹریفک کا ہی بنایا گیا۔ نیا انٹرنیشل لائسنس مقامی کمپیوٹرائزڈ ڈرائیونگ لائسنس رکھنے والے شہریوں کا ہی بنایا جائے گا۔ جس کیلئے پاسپورٹ اور کسی بھی ملک کا ویزہ ہونا ضروری ہوگا۔ ایک ہزار 50روپے فیس ادا کرکے ملنے والا یہ لائسنس ایک سال کے لئے دنیا بھر میں قابل قبول ہوگا۔ میڈیا سے بات چیت کرتے ہوئے ایڈیشنل آئی جی غلام قادر تھیبو نے کہا کہ کراچی میں ڈرائیونگ لائسنس کی برانچ ہر ضلع میں قائم کی جارہی ہے جبکہ موبائل ڈرائیونگ لائسنس برانچ بھی ایک ہفتے بعد کام شروع کردے گی۔

اسلام حق و باطل کا ایک وضح تصور رکھتا ہے۔ اللہ ہمارا خالق، مالک اور پروردگار ہے اور اس بنیاد پر اللہ کے کچھ حقوق ہیں جو کہ صرف اور صرف اللہ کے لئے خاص ہیں۔اللہ کے ان حقوق کو تسلیم نہ کرنا یا ان میں دوسروں کوشریک کرنا شرک فی العبودیت کہلاتا ہے ۔ دنیا میں جتنے بھی انبیاء علیم السلام آئے وہ سب کے سب اسی پیغام کے ساتھ آئے کہ اللہ کے حقوق کو تسلیم کیا جائے اور ان حقوق میں کسی دوسرے کو شریک نہ کیا جائے۔ اسی طرح اللہ کے مبعوث کئے ہوئے انبیاء کو خوش دلی کے ساتھ قبول کرنا اللہ کے دین کا دوسرا بنیادی جزو بن جاتا ہے۔ یعنی اللہ نے اپنے کچھ بندوں کو چن لیا ہے تاکہ وہ اللہ کے حقوق کے بارے میں اس کے بندوں کو بتائیں اور ان حقوق کو پورا کرنے کا عملی نمونہ پیش کریں۔ان انبیاء کی نبوت کو تسلیم کرنا بھی اللہ کا ایک بنیادی حق ہے۔ اللہ کے حقوق میں ایک اہم چیز یہ بھی شامل ہے کہ بغیر علم کے ہم اللہ بارے میں کچھ نہ کہیں۔
اب اگر کوئی اللہ کے حقوق کو تسلیم نہیں کرتا یا ان حقوق کو صرف اللہ کے حقوق ماننے کے بجائے غیراللہ سے بھی منسوب کرتا ہے اور واضح نشانیوں کے باوجود اللہ کے ان چنے ہوئے بندوں کو بلا جواز رد کردیتا ہے تو یہی باطل ہے۔

ایک طرف انبیاء علیہم السلام ہیں جنہوں نے لوگوں کو حق کی دعوت دی اور دوسری طرف شیاطین ہیں جو پورا زور لگا رہے ہیں کہ حضرت انسان کسی طرح سے اللہ کے حقوق کو رد کردے یا ان حقوق میں دوسروں کو بھی شریک کرے۔ یہ ہے وہ ابتدائے آفرینش سے چلے آئی حق و باطل کی کشمکش۔ اگر اللہ چاہتا تو حق کواپنی تمام مخلوقات پربزور مسلط کردیتا۔ لیکن اللہ کی یہ منشاء ہے کہ انسان اپنے انتخاب سے شعوری طور پراللہ کو مانے اور اس کے حقوق کو پہچانے اور اس کے منتخب نمائندوں کی اطاعت کرے۔اسطرح یہ دنیا ایک طرح سے رزم گاہ حق و باطل ہے جس میں قیامت تک کے لئے خیر و شر کی جنگ جاری رہے گی۔

ستیزہ کار رہا ہے ازل سے تا امروز

حق ایک واضح اور بین پیغام ہے اور انسانی فطرت کے اندر حق کو پہچاننے اور قبول کرنے کا مادہ موجود ہے۔اس جنگ میں جو بھی باطل کے علمبردار ہیں ان کی پوری کوشش ہوتی ہے کہ حق و باطل کے درمیان جو معرکہ برپاہے وہ واضح نہ ہونے پائےتاکہ انسان اپنی فطرت سے اس حق کو پہچان ہی نہ پائے۔ یا اگر کہیں کشمکش نظر بھی آئے تو انبیاء علیہم السلام کی برپا کی ہوئی کشمکش کے بجائے کچھ اور ہی کشمکش نظر آئے جس میں حق سرے سے غائب ہو۔یعنی باطل کی دو اقسام کی کشمکش نظر آئے جس میں انسان یہ سمجھے کہ یہ حق و باطل کی جنگ ہے اور پھر وہ اپنے آپ کو مجبور پائے کہ ان دو باطلوں میں سے کسی ایک باطل کو قبول کرے۔یا اگر کہیں لا محالہ حق و باطل کی کشمکش واضح طور پر نظر آ بھی جائے تو حق کا صحیح پیغام عوام تک پہونچے ہی نہیں یا اگر پہونچ بھی جائے تو وہ باطل کے میڈیم سے پہونچے اور ان شیطانی قوتوں کو پورا اختیار ہو کہ وہ جس طرح چاہے اس طرح حق کے پیغام کو اپنی مرضی سےپیش کریں۔یہی وہ تلبیس ہے جو باطل کو پھیلانے کی ہر کوشش میں کارفرما ہے۔

انسان کے اندر بہت سی ذہنی اور نفسیاتی صلاحیتیں ہوتی ہیں اور چونکہ اس خاکی انسان میں شر اور خیر کے دونوں رجحانات رکھے گئے ہیں اس لئے اس کی یہ صلاحیتیں کبھی حق کے لئے استعمال ہوتی ہے تو کبھی باطل کے لئے۔ ان انسانی خصوصیات کو تلبیس حق اور باطل کے لئے استعمال کرنے کی ایک زندہ اور بھر پور مثال روافض کے مقدمے میں نظر آتی ہے۔احساس مظلومیت ایک قسم کی تحریک ہے جو انسان کو بہت کچھ کرنے پر اکساتی ہے۔ یہ عمل منفی بھی ہوسکتا ہے اور مثبت بھی۔اور جب احساس مظلومیت شدت اختیار کرتا ہے تو یہ کسی فرد کومشتعل بھی کردیتا ہے جس کا نتیجہ صرف منفی ہوتا ہے۔ شدید اشتعال میں یہ احساس یہ رخ بھی اختیار کرلیتا ہے کہ ایک شخص یہ فیصلہ کرنے کے قابل ہی نہیں رہتاکہ جس بات پر اس کو اشتعال آیا ہوا ہے اس کی کوئی حقیقت ہے بھی یا نہیں۔ بلکہ بار بار اس طرح مشتعل ہونا اور شدید قسم کے احساس مظلومیت کا شکارہونے کے بعد وہ اس حد تک خود فریبی کا شکا ہوجاتا ہے کہ اس کے لئے اس سے متعلق کسی بھی چیز کو سنجیدگی اور معروضی انداز میں دیکھنا تقریباً ناممکن ہوجاتا ہے۔ اس کے نتیجے میں جاننے کے باوجود ایک فرد ایسے کسی رخ پر سوچتے ہوئے بھی ڈرتا ہےجس سے اب تک اس کا اس طرح شدید جذباتی ہوجانا حماقت اور بے معنی نظر آنے لگے۔ جب اس طرح کے احساس کو زندہ رکھنے کی مکرر کوشش کی جاتی ہے تو پھر یہ احساس مظلومیت ایک نشہ کی شکل اختیار کرجاتا ہے جس کے بارے میں سوچ سوچ کر ایک فرد مخصوص قسم کی لذت حاصل کرتا ہے۔

صدیوں سے اہل تشیع نے واقعہ کربلا کو اس طرح کے اشتعال انگیز احساس مظلومیت کو زندہ رکھنے کے لئے استعمال کیا ہوا ہے۔اس احساس مظلومیت کو زندہ رکھنے کے لئے جو بھی لوازمات ہو سکتے ہیں اس کو وافر انداز میں فراہم بھی کیا گیا ہے۔ پورے اہتمام سے ماتم کی مجلسیں سجانا، مخصوص قسم کے جذباتی انداز میں تقاریر کرنا، کچھ سچے جھوٹے واقعات اپنے مخصوص ہذیانی انداز میں بیان کرنا، سیرت اور بعد کے واقعات کی ایسی عجیب و غریب تعبیرات بیان کرنا گویا کوئی بہت بڑا سراغ ہاتھ آیا ہو، ماتم کے نام پر خود اذیتی کے جلسے کرنا اور باقاعدہ لوہے کے ہتھیاروں سے اپنے آپ کو زخمی کرنا اور ان سب کو پابندی کی ساتھ ہر سال دہرانا اور بچپن سے ہی ہرکسی کو اس کا عادی بنایا۔ یہ سب اعمال ظاہر ہے انسانی نفسیات پر بڑے گہرے اور دور رس اثرات چھوڑتے ہیں۔ ایسا لگتا ہے کہ یہ سب کچھ اس طرح منظم انداز میں انسانی نفسیات کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوئے بنایا گیا ہے گویا کہ اس کے لئے باقاعدہ پلاننگ کی گئی ہو۔ یا یہ بھی ممکن ہے کہ ایک بار انسانی ذہن اور فکری صلاحیت غلط راستے پر پڑ گئی تو کثیر انسانی تعداد کی ذہنی استعداد اس اندھے اور مشتعل کردینے والے احساس مظلومیت کی آبیاری میں شدت پیدا کرنے کے لئےآپ سے آپ استعمال ہوتی چلی گئی۔ اس نفسیاتی مرض کی شدت کچھ ایسی ہے کہ ہر مذہبی رافضی اس میں مبتلا ہےقطع نظر اس سے کہ اس کی ذہانت اور تعلیم کس درجے کی ہے۔ یہاں تک کہ رافضہ میں جو دیندار نہیں ہوتے ان کی بھی بڑی تعداد اسی احساس مظلومیت میں پناہ لیتی نظر آتی ہے اگر چیکہ اپنے مذہب پر عمل کرنے سے انہیں کوئی دلچسپی نہیں ہوتی۔ برصغیر میں ترقی پسند تحریک کے کچھ بڑے نام بھی شیعی پس منظر رکھتے ہیں لیکن وہ بھی صدیوں سے چلے آئے ان احمقانہ اشغال پر خاموش نظر آتے ہیں۔

سورہ ابراہیم آیت نمبر ۲۷ میں اللہ تعالی خود فرماتا ہے کہ وہ ظالموں کو گمراہ کرتا ہے اور سورہ غافر کی آیت ۷۴۔۷۵ میں زیادہ وضاحت آئی ہے کہ ان کے عذاب کی وجہ ناحق پرمگن ہونا اور اترانا ہے۔ سورہ غافر آیت نمبر ۳۴ میں اللہ فرماتا ہے کہ وہ حد سے بڑھنے والے اور شک کرنے والوں کو گمراہ کردیتا ہے۔ ظاہر بات ہے کہ ظلم کرنا، ناحق پر مزے کرنا اور خوش ہونااور حد سے بڑھنا خود گمراہی ہے۔ لیکن آگے اللہ یہ فرماتا ہے کہ ایسے لوگوں کو اللہ مزید گمراہ کردیتا ہے۔ یہ گمراہی کی ایک نفسیات ہے ۔ اللہ تعالی نہ صرف یہ فرماتا ہے کہ وہ گمراہوں کو مزید گمراہ کرتا ہے بلکہ یہ بھی ارشاد ہے کہ ان کے لئے یہ گمراہی مزین کردیتا ہے۔

سورہ انعام کی ہی آیت نمبر ۱۲۲ میں ارشاد ہے۔

بھلا جو پہلے مردہ تھا پھر ہم نے اس کو زندہ کیا اور اس کے لیے روشنی کر دی جس کے ذریعے سے وہ لوگوں میں چلتا پھرتا ہے کہیں اس شخص جیسا ہو سکتا ہے جو اندھیرے میں پڑا ہوا ہو اور اس سے نکل ہی نہ سکے اسی طرح کافر جو عمل کر رہے ہیں وہ انہیں اچھے معلوم ہوتے ہیں ۔

کافروں کو اپنے اعمال اچھے لگنے کے بارے میں مولانا مودودی رحمۃ اللہ علیہ یوں رقمطراز ہیں۔

یعنی جن لوگوں کے سامنے روشنی پیش کی جائے اور وہ اس کو قبول کرنے سے انکار کر دیں ، جنھیں راہِ راست کی طرف دعوت دی جائے اور وہ اپنے ٹیڑھے راستوں ہی پر چلتے رہنے کو ترجیح دیں، ان کے لیے اللہ کا قانون یہی ہے کہ پھر انھیں تاریکی ہی اچھی معلوم ہونے لگتی ہے۔ وہ اندھوں کی طرح ٹٹول ٹٹول کر چلنا اور ٹھوکریں کھا کھا کر گِرنا ہی پسند کرتے ہیں۔ ان کو جھاڑیاں ہی باغ اور کانٹے ہی پھول نظر آتے ہیں۔ انھیں ہر بدکاری میں مزا آتا ہے ، ہر حماقت کو وہ تحقیق سمجھتے ہیں ، اور ہر فساد انگیز تجربہ کے بعد اْس سے بڑھ کر دْوسرے فساد انگیز تجربے کے لیے وہ اِس اْمّید پر تیار ہو جاتے ہیں کہ پہلے اتفاق سے دَہکتے ہوئے انگارے پر ہاتھ پڑ گیا تھا تو اب کے لعل بدخشاں ہاتھ آجائے گا۔

اللہ نے پیغمبروں کے منکروں کے بارے میں فرمایا۔

اور اسی طرح ہم نے شیطان (سیرت) انسانوں اور جنوں کو ہر پیغمبر کا دشمن بنا دیا تھا، وہ دھوکا دینے کے لیے ایک دوسرے کے دل میں ملمع کی باتیں ڈالتے رہتے تھے اور اگر تمہارا پروردگار چاہتا تو وہ ایسا نہ کرتے تو ان کو اور جو کچھ یہ افتراء کرتے ہیں اسے چھوڑ دو ۔اور (وہ ایسے کام) اس لیے بھی (کرتے تھے) کہ جو لوگ آخرت پر ایمان نہیں رکھتے ان کے دل ان کی باتوں پر مائل ہوں اور وہ انہیں پسند کریں اور جو کام وہ کرتے تھے وہ ہی کرنے لگیں۔ (سورہ انعام ۱۱۲۔۱۱۳)

یہ ایک انسانی نفسیات کا مسئلہ ہے۔ جب کسی ذیباطیس کے مریض کے سامنے میڈیکل سائنس کی نئی ریسرچ پیش کی جائے کہ شکر کھانا صحت کے لئے نقصان دہ نہیں ہے تو ان میں کچھ ایسے ضرور ہونگے جن کا اس ریسرچ پربلا تحقیق یقین کرنے کو جی چاہے گا۔اسی طرح تقریباً تمام گمراہیاں نہ صرف اپنی گمراہی کے لئے جواز پیدا کرتی ہی بلکہ باقاعدہ رسم رواج، تحقیق ، مکالمات اور انسانی جذبات کو انگیخت کرنے لئے تحریری اور تقریری ادب بھی پیدا کرتی ہیں۔اور پھر ان مکالمات اور ادبیات کو مزید طاقتور بنانے کے لئے نت نئی تحقیقات بھی پیدا ہوتی چلی جاتی ہیں ۔ نتیجہ یہ ہوتا ہے تحقیق کی بنیاد پر ادب اور مکالمات بننے کے بجائے ان مکالمات کے تقاضوں کے تحت تحقیق بننی شروع ہوجاتی ہے۔

گمراہیوں پر مزے لینا اور پھر رو رو کر ماتم کرکے شدید قسم کی احساس مظلومیت سے تلذذ حاصل کرنااور اس ماتم کے سرور کا اس حد تک عادی ہوجانا کہ ایسے کسی حق سے بھی خوف کھانا جس میں یہ آہ و بکا نہ ہوایک شاندار شیطانی کارنامہ ہے۔اہل تشیع کی ذکر کی مجلسیں ایسی ہی پر انگیخت اور جذباتی مکالمات سے پر ہوتی ہیں کہ اگر راسخ العقیدہ اہل سنت شخص بھی حاضری دے تو ان جذبات کے بہاؤ میں یہ بھی بہہ جائے۔ جذبات کی شدت کو ایسے مہمیز دی جاتی ہے کہ کسی عام آدمی کا ذہن اس طرف جا ہی نہیں سکتا کہ جو باتیں کہی جارہی ہیں وہ معقول، مستند اور تناقضات سے پاک ہیں بھی یا نہیں۔ بلکہ ادبیت، لفاظی اورجذباتیت پیدا ہی اس لئے کی جاتی ہے کہ کسی کا ذہن معروضی انداز میں سوچے ہی نہیں اور یہی لفاظی دلائل کے متبادل کا کام دیتی ہے۔

ان ادبی مکالمات میں انبیاء کا پیش کیا ہوا مقدمہ سرے سے غائب ہوتا ہے۔ پورا کا پور دین حسینیت اور یزیدیت کے گرد گھومتا ہے۔ افراد کے اعتبار سے دیکھا جائے تو قرآن میں انبیاء علیہم الصلاہ والسلام کو حق کے نمائندے کے طور پر پیش کیا گیا ہے جبکہ فرعون، نمرود، ابولہب، اور کفارکے لیڈروں کو باطل کے نمائندوں کے طور پر پیش کیا گیا ہے۔ اہل تشیع کے حق اور باطل کا مکمل تصور یزیدت اور حسینیت کے گرد گھومتا ہے جس کا تاریخی پس منظر کئی اعتبارات سے مشکوک ہے۔اس سے بڑی تلبیس اور کیا ہوسکتی ہے کہ ایک مشکوک واقعے کو حق و باطل کے طور پر پیش کیاجائےجس کی تصدیق قرآن سے نہ ہوسکتی ہو اور قرآن پاک میں پیش کئے گئے حق و باطل کے نمائندوں کو کلی طور پر نظر انداز کیا جائے؟ قرآن جنگ بدر کے دن کو یوم الفرقان قرار دیتا ہے جبکہ شیعیت کے عقائد کربلا کے گرد گھومتے ہیں۔اس سلسلے میں انسانی جذباتیت کے بعض عجیب و غریب کارنامے نظر آتے ہیں۔ سانحۂ کربلا کے واقع ہونے میں بنیادی کردار کوفہ کے شیعان علی کا رہا ہے اور یہ بات اہل سنت اور اہل تشیع دونوں کےتاریخی ذخائر سے ثابت شدہ ہے۔ لیکن واقعہ کربلا بیان کرنے کے پورے تناظر میں یزید پر لعنتیں کرنا تو یاد رہتا ہے اور اہل کوفہ کی غداری بیان سے غائب ہوجاتی ہے۔

کربلا کے واقعہ کے تناظر میں حضرت حسین، علی بن حسین اور زینب بنت علی کی جذباتی اور فصاحت و بلاغت سے بھرپور تقاریر بھی پائی جاتی ہیں ۔ اہل تشیع کی روایات کے مطابق وہ تقاریر عین میدان جنگ میں اور یزید کے دربار تک میں کی گئیں۔قطع نظر اس سے کہ ان تقاریر کی اسانید کی کیا حقیقت ہے، یہ کس طرح ممکن ہے کہ کوئی فوج اپنے حریف کو خود انہیں کو مخاطب کر کے ایسی زبردست تقاریر کرنے کی اجاازت دے؟ جبکہ اسی فوج پر نواسۂ رسولؓ اور ان کے پورے خاندان کے قتل کا الزام بھی ہو؟ صاف بات ہے کہ ذاکرین کی مجلسیں گرمانے کے لئےایساشدید اور لفاظی سے بھرپور ادب اس مذہب کا لازمی تقاضا ہے۔ادبیات کی لفاظی، ہیجانی مکالمات، جذباتی شاعری، دور کی کوڑیاں اور نکتوں سے نکتے نکال کر کی ہوئی تقاریر، یہ اہل تشیع کے وہ زخرف القول^(۱) ہیں جس کے ذریعے انسانوں کے سوچنے سمجھنے کی صلاحیت ماؤف ہوجاتی ہے۔ ایسا محسوس ہوتا ہے کہ آدم ؑ سے لے کرنبی آخرالزماںﷺ تک شیطان نے انسانی نفسیات کا مطالعہ و مشاہدہ کر کے جو نتائج اخذ کئے ہیں اس کو بھرپور انداز میں اس رافضی ہیجانیات کی تخلیق میں استعمال کیا ہے۔

الغرض ایک اجتماعی پیرانوئیا^(۲) (Paranoia) کی کیفیت ہے جو ہر بڑے چھوٹے, خاص و عام، عالم و جاہل پر یکساں مسلط ہے۔پھراس ہیجانیات نے وہ وہ ہوشربا کارنامے انجام دئے کہ انسانی عقل ششدر رہ جائے۔ایک بار اس نفسیات کی بنیاد پڑ گئی تو پھر یہ بیک ٹریک(backtrack) پر چلی گئی اور نئی روایات گڑھ کر اپنی اس مظلومیانہ نفسیات کے لئے نئی تاریخ بھی پیدا کرتی چلی گئی۔ پہلے چراغ مصطفوی اور شرار بولہبی کا معرکہ حسینیت اور یزیدیت میں تبدیل ہوگیا اور پھر خلافت بمقابلہ خفیہ امامت کی شکل اختیار کر گیا۔ حضرت عثمانؓ اور پھر حضرت حسینؓ کی مظلومانہ شہادت کے نتیجے میں جو انتشار پیدا ہوا وہاں سے حضرت عمرؓ اور حضرت ابوبکرؓ کا حساب کتاب بھی شروع ہوجاتا ہے۔ پھر ان اصحاب کے تمام کارناموں کو یا تو نظر انداز کیا جاتا ہے یا انہیں کارناموں کوان کی برائیاں ثابت کی جاتی ہے۔ پھر ایک قدم مزید پیچھے جاکر نبوت تک کی تاویل اس انداز سے کی جاتی ہے کہ گویا نبیﷺ اس دنیا میں صرف اپنی" خاندانی سیادت" قائم کرنے کے لئے تشریف لائے تھے۔ باقی توحید و شرک کا مسئلہ دین سے سرے سے غائب، بلکہ اسی اہل بیت کی ارتکازیت کے شوق میں "معصومین" سے دعائیں بھی ہوتی ہے بلکہ انہیں اللہ کی ربوبیت کا شریک بھی قراردیا جاتا ہے۔

ایک طویل عرصے تک یہ مظلومانہ نفسیات کا طلسم اندر ہی اندر غیر محسوس انداز میں شدت اختیار کرتا رہا ہے جس کا اندازہ اہل سنت کو طویل عرصے تک نہیں ہوسکا۔پچھلی دو صدیوں سے طاری سیکولرزم اور کئی صدیوں سے جاری تصوف نے اس مخفی جذبے کی نشؤنما کے لئے بہت ہی سازگار ماحول فراہم کیا۔ چونکہ یزید تو کب کا مر کھپ چکا تھا اس لئے اس شدت احساس کو باقی رکھنے کے ایک زندہ دشمن کی ضرورت تھی۔ اسلئے محرم میں ماتم نہ کرنے والے، صحابہ کے نام لیوااورمعصومین کی عبادت سے گریزاں، یعنی اہل سنت ہی انکی اس بیمار نفسیات کے نشانے پر رہے۔ یہ اتنے طویل عرصے تک اس قوم پر یہ شیطان کی انوسٹمنٹ تھی ۔ وہ فتنہ جس کا بیج مدینے کے منافقوں نے بویا تھا، پھر جسے عبد اللہ ابن سبا نے نشؤنما دی، پھر شہادت حسین جیسے افسوسناک واقعے نےجسے مزید پانی فراہم کیا، صفویوں کے دور میں جس کی خوب آبیاری کی گئی، سیکولرزم اور جدت پسندی کے فتنے نے جس کو خفیہ انداز میں اندر سے مضبوط ہونے کا موقعہ فراہم کیا وہ آخر میں ایران کے "اسلامی" انقلاب کے نتیجے میں تقیہ کے جامے سے باہر آگیا۔ اب یہ فصل پک کر تیار تھی۔ شیطان بزرگ اور اسرائیل کے خلاف زبان درازیاں کر کرکے یہ مسلمانوں کی نمائندہ بننے کی بہت کوشش کرچکی ہے۔ لیکن افغانستان، عراق اور شام میں اس پکی پکائی فصل نے جو کارنامے انجام دئے اس سے سب کی آنکھوں پر پڑا ہوا پردہ ہٹ جانا چاہئے۔ اور اب شام میں جو کچھ ہورہا ہے اس کے بعد ہوش کے ناخن لے ہی لینے چاہئے۔ وقت نے ثابت کردیا کہ ضرورت پڑی تو شیطان بزرگ سے بھی اور شیطان کوچک (روس) سے بھی اتحاد ممکن ہے اور ان کا جو بھی اتحاد ہوگا اس کا مقصد اہل سنت کو نشانے پر رکھنا ہے۔ جن کے یہاں پر ابوجہل، ابو لہب اور فرعون کے بجائے حضرات شیخین اور امہات المؤمنین باطل کی علامات ٹہریں ان سے اور توقع بھی کیا رکھی جاسکتی ہے۔

Code of conduct for local government elections will be released by October 31, the acting CEC said.

ISLAMABAD – Acting Chief Election Commissioner Justice Tassaduq Hussain Jilani has said that holding local government elections within short time is a challenge for the Election Commission of Pakistan.

Mr. Jilani chaired a meeting in Islamabad today (Tuesday) to discuss preparations for the local bodies elections.

Provincial election commissioners‚ chief secretaries and provincial secretaries attended the meeting.

While addressing the meeting, the acting CEC said that conducting a transparent election process would be another challenge for the commission.

He said that officers of district administration will perform duties of returning officers during the elections, whereas, Sindh chief secretary has requested the commission to appoint district session judges as returning officers.

He directed the chief secretaries and civil officers to comply with their oaths above political affiliations.

He further stated that code of conduct for local government elections will be released by October 31.

WASHINGTON (Web Desk) - A Pakistani family affected by US drone strikes, appeared before members of the US Congress on Tuesday to record their account from when they were targeted last year.

Rafiq ur Rehman – a primary (elementary) teacher in North Waziristan – and his children Zubair (13) and Nabila (9) are the first victims of the covert drone programme to give evidence in person to members of Congress. The children’s grandmother – Mr Rehman’s mother – Mammana Bibi (67) was killed in a CIA strike in October 2012.

The family was accompanied by Jennifer Gibson, an attorney with the human rights charity Reprieve.

Rehman’s son Zubair, 13, said that the “US drone took my grandmother’s life.”

Replying to a question Rehman said when his mother died in the drone strike, the neighbours “told me that see what US has done to your mother, you should hate US.”

“Our children now do not want to go to school, they even fear to play outside, we live in a constant fear. Before drone campaign started, we were busy in our own lives.”

In reply to a question raised by an Al Jazeera correspondent, Congressman Alan Grayson said that presence of five members of Congress at the briefing indicated that there is a fair amount of interest from representatives. He conceded that he does not see any formal briefing on drones soon as most of the house committees are chaired by the people who are friends of military industrial complex not those who oppose of it or are sceptical of it. “I believe that over the span of time it people will realise the gravity of this issue.”

The Congressmen present though defended the strikes on allegations that they ammounted to war crimes citing legal ussyes.

To a question on what would he say if he got the chance to meet President Obama, who approves the strikes Rehman said, “I would like to tell President Obama that what happened to me and my family is wrong”.

“I would urge him to find a peaceful answer to end this war. During my stay here in US I noticed that everyone here lives in peace here and I dream that my children also be able to live in peace.”

Rehman urged the US and Pakistan government to achieve peace.

Earlier, Nabila's father, Rafiq Rehman, said he accepted an invitation from a documentary production company to come to the United States because "as a teacher, I wanted to educate Americans and let them know my children have been injured."

"My daughter does not have the face of a terrorist and neither did my mother. It just doesn't make sense to me, why this happened," he told AFP in an interview.

The Rehmans said they have no connection to any anti-US extremists or Al-Qaeda militants, and as they mourned their grandmother, they were confounded by inaccurate accounts of the October 2012 bombing raid.

Media reports afterward confirmed a drone strike took place, but said missiles hit a house, with one version alleging a car was struck and several militants killed.

But the Rehmans said no building or car was directly hit in the attack, and that paved roads are some distance away. They say missiles landed in the field where their grandmother was teaching Nabila how to recognize when okra are ripe enough to pick.

After a loud boom, "where my grandmother was standing, I saw these two bright lights come down and hit her," said Nabila. "And everything became dark at that point."

She noticed blood on her hand and tried to wipe it away with her shawl. "But the blood just kept coming," she said.

Shrapnel lodged in her right hand and she was treated at a local hospital. Her brother, Zubair, suffered shrapnel wounds to his left leg, which required two operations. His family had to take out a loan to pay for the surgery.

Since the attack, Zubair said he has trouble sleeping and no longer goes outside to play cricket.

"I don't feel like going outside and playing with my friends. I don't feel like going to school. It's really destroyed my life," he said.
His sister said the US government's explanation for drone strikes did not apply to her family.

"When I hear that they are going after people who have done wrong to America, then what have I done wrong to them? What did my grandmother do wrong to them?

"I didn't do anything wrong," she said.

The Rehman family's experience features in a new documentary, "Unmanned: America's Drone Wars," which takes a critical view of the air strikes.

Bulgaria will ask Greece to hand over Roma girl

4-year-old blonde girl was found living with a Roma couple - who were not her real parents.

SOFIA (AFP) - Bulgaria said Tuesday it will ask the Greek authorities to hand over a young girl found in a Roma camp this month, who was wrongly thought to have been abducted.

"The state child protection agency will undertake the necessary actions for the return of Maria who was indisputably proven to be the child of Sasha Ruseva and Atanas Rusev from the town of Nikolaevo," the agency said in a statement.

The four-year-old blonde girl made international headlines when she was found living with a Roma couple -- who were not her real parents -- in the Greek town of Farsala.

She is currently in the care of Athens-based charity Smile of the Child.

Whether Maria will be returned to Bulgaria or not will be up to the Greek authorities, the charity said.

"It is the judicial authorities in Larissa (close to Farsala) that will decide on the matter," charity head Kostas Giannopoulos told AFP.

He added that Maria was being looked after at one of the organisation s homes and that she was in good health.

The girl was wrongfully thought to be an abducted western European child until the Greek and Bulgarian authorities tracked down her real parents -- also Roma -- to a ghetto in the central town of Nikolaevo last week.

DNA tests proved the parentage of Sasha, known locally as Sashka, and her husband Atanas, who have nine other children, five of whom are also blonde.

They later admitted having abandoned the girl in 2009, just seven months after she was born in Greece, because they were so poor.

The mother, who is under investigation for allegedly selling Maria but has denied she took any money for her, has said she wanted to take the girl back.

The Greek Roma couple, who are in detention for allegedly abducting Maria, have also said they want to keep her.

However, the girl is unlikely to rejoin her poverty-stricken family if she is sent back to Bulgaria and would instead be placed in a crisis centre or in foster care, the child protection agency said.

"Maria will remain there until finding a solution for her upbringing -- a return to the biological family, or placement with relatives, in foster care or in a social institution," the agency said.

The agency also ordered on Tuesday a review of the conditions under which Maria s seven underage siblings were raised in the Nikolaevo ghetto with a view to taking protective measures if necessary.

Need of different teams for different formats:

One of the main reasons of Pakistan decline is the fragile batting Pakistan carries. This issue has been around a time now but nothing much has been done .Pakistani opening problem is something which has not been cured from years now after the departure of left handed combination of Saeed Anwar and Aamir Sohail. Some players are getting chances in every format despite not having the right temperament to play in certain formats whereas some players are just sidelined without any concrete reasons. Muhammnad Hafeez is a prime example of someone who despite suffering from an awful form in test cricket is getting continuous chances. Management needs to make sure that they pick right players for the format they are best suited for. Teams like India, England and South Africa are prime examples who have separate teams for different formats and there ranking shows the effectiveness of it. Very few players justify places in all three formats, and it is the job of the management to provide a suitable selection for the team.

Batting Coach:

Pakistan needs a permanent batting coach. It is hard to imagine that a team who has been suffering in batting unit don’t have a batting coach. Pakistan is in a need of a batting coach desperately who can walk through the players and nurture them further. Temporary coaches or consultants are not doing any good. If Pakistan have to see improvement in batting department, then the need of batting coach is a must. Pakistan was exposed completely in South Africa on the seamy and turning pitches against the likes of Steyn, Philander and Morkel because of the weak technique they carried. Pakistan needs to keep in mind that they will be playing the 2015 world cup in Australia and New Zealand which will be a testing period for a batting line up as Pakistan.

Proper chances:

Players need to be ensured that one or two failures will not put a question mark on their careers. The tradition of dropping a player after one failure is not something new in Pakistan Cricket. Until players won’t feel at ease, they can’t play in the natural manner of their own. Greats like Younus Khan ,Misbah-Ul-Haq, Saeed Ajmal and Shahid Afridi don’t have much of cricket left , so it is a high time that management select the players who are going to be the future of team for at least the next 6-8 years. It is only possible if players are given proper chances on long runs in the presence of seniors who are not going to be around for a very long time.

Stop Political Influence:

The title is enough to hint that what needs to be stopped immediately. Depoliticise cricket or any sports from politics. In a country where the president has a free will to choose a person to govern a sports body does not make any sense. Until and unless management and think tanks are under the influence of political body, one can’t think of any positive changes. Involving politics in sports is just going to ruin it more and more. Pakistan Cricket Board people who understand cricket and know how to govern it and can make changes without the fear of anyone.

Strengthening relations between India and Pakistan Cricket Boards:

Pakistan and India, a relation like Tom and Jerry. Cricket has to suffer the most whenever tension arises between both these countries. Both countries have no problem when the singers are singing in each other countries, acting in movies together at both sides across the border, or sharing any other platform in front of the world. Greats like Imran Khan, Kapil Dev, and Sunil Gavaskar always emphasized that their cricket improved when they played against each other. They had more pressure and that made them do well and was beneficial for the future success. Pakistani new cricketers have not had much exposure to such situations and that is why they tend to fail in pressure situations. On top, having no cricket at home has dented the already bad situation into much worst. For the revival of quality cricket, Pakistan needs to strengthen the relation with Indian Cricket Board because it is the need of present Pakistan Cricket than Indian.

Pakistan has a lot of cricket coming up. Pakistan will be hosting South Africa and Sri Lanka in UAE this year followed by events like Asia Cup and T20 2014 WC. Pakistan needs to take some serious step in order to bring cricket where it was. As a powerhouse of cricket and arguably the second biggest cricket supporting country, Pakistan is very important to world cricket and world cricket to Pakistan. Wake up PCB, before it is too late. World crickets wants to see another Imran, Wasim, Shoaib and Afridi.

LONDON: Malala Yousafzai hit back at claims that she has become a figure of the West, insisting she was proud to be a Pakistani.

The 16-year-old, who was shot by the Taliban for championing girls’ right to an education, claimed she retained the support of people in her homeland, and reiterated her desire to enter Pakistani politics. The activist was shot in the head on her school bus on October 9 last year for speaking out against the Taliban.

She was flown for specialist care in Britain, where she has continued her education, while she has been feted and honoured in the West. On Thursday, she won the European Union’s prestigious Sakharov human rights prize, while US President Barack Obama welcomed her to the White House on Friday.

Asked in a BBC television interview broadcast Sunday about some people in Pakistan thinking she was a “figure of the West” and “a Westerner now”, she said:

“My father says that education is neither Eastern or Western. Education is education: it’s the right of everyone.”

“The thing is that the people of Pakistan have supported me. They don’t think of me as Western. I am a daughter of Pakistan and I am proud that I am a Pakistani.”

“On the day when I was shot, and on the next day, people raised the banners of ‘I am Malala’. They did not say ‘I am Taliban’.”

“They support me and they are encouraging me to move forward and to continue my campaign for girls’ education.”

She highlighted the problem of education in the midst of the Syrian conflict.

“We want to help every child in every country that we can,” she said.
“We will start from Pakistan and Afghanistan and Syria now, especially because they are suffering the most and they are on the top that need our help.

“Later on in my life I want to do politics and I want to become a leader and to bring the change in Pakistan.”

“I want to be a politician in Pakistan because I don’t want to be a politician in a country which is already developed.”

‘Infant deaths not due to Pentavalent vaccine’
Srinagar, Oct 14: (GNS) In order to ascertain the
cause of infant deaths that took place in Valley’s
sole maternity hospital G.B. Panth a;;egedly due to
administering of Pentavalent vaccine, a five-
member team of union health ministry today visited
various government hospitals of Valley.
According to GNS, the team headed by Dr. N.K.
Arora also visited the houses of those who
allegedly died due to vaccination and those who
took the same vaccination on same day.
The team came concluded by saying that
Pentavalent vaccination is a Government of India
programme which is being implemented across the
country and there are no reports of any adverse
effects.
“This vaccination programme is being implemented
in the whole country and millions of children are
being administered this vaccine,” the team held,
adding that no adverse effects of this vaccination
have been reported so far.
The Pentavalent vaccine is given under
immunization programme to protect infants from
Hepatitis-B, Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis and Hib
(Haemophilus Influenzae Type-B).
There were reports few days back that infant
deaths at G.B. Panth hospital were caused by
