PLDT Admin Access - Default Username and Password 2025

Most PLDT subscribers want to know the default admin username and password to have full access privileged to our router/modem settings in our PLDT Home Fiber, myDSL broadband, and Ultera wireless internet.

The PLDT admin account opens up a lot of advanced settings. From restricting wireless users through MAC filtering, port forwarding, changing WiFi name or SSID, bridging your router, backup, and lots more. All of those benefits cannot be done when you're just accessing the router page using a normal user. To make that possible you must use the given root or admin account provided.

PLDT Default Admin Password

When accessing your router's web interface, use the following admin PLDT credentials below. If the first password doesn't work, try an alternative one based on your modem model and software version. You also try another password if the first one is not working on your modem.

Simply go to your browser, type 192.168.1.1, hit enter, and use the following username and password:

Note: If you encounter a "This site can't be reached" error using your browser, just edit the above URL to https://19.168.1.1 with added (s). If the error still persists, try using different browsers or devices.

For newer modem/router, simply use the PLDT basic admin credentials below.

Username: admin
Password: 1234
IP / URL: https://192.168.1.1

If it's your first time accessing the web admin interface, carefully follow the prompts to change the current admin account, Wi-Fi name, and password. Don't forget to take notes or write down your new credentials before clicking the "Apply" button.
Admin account unavailable

This error happens when your PLDT router software version is automatically updated remotely by PLDT tech engineers. They may be doing this to patch or fix some bugs via software for security purposes, including unwanted access to the super admin account of your router.

To fix and prevent the error when logging in with the default admin account, you need to know the correct admin password based on your PLDT modem/router software version. To know your sofware version, just login to your PLDT router and use the basic credentials for newer modems e.g. (admin - 1234), then go to "Status" tab.

Next, you need to enable Debug Switch by going to Management the Device Management and enable the Web Admin Switch. Click Apply to save changes.

PLDT Home Bro ULTERA can access the dashboard through an IP address, connect to your Wi-Fi network, then open your browser, enter https://192.168.15.1 then use the credentials above.

PLDT Login Troubleshooting

Cannot log in to adminpldt account? Try the below steps on how to create an advance Admin account.

Login to the Basic admin account by going to 192.168.1.1 then login using the username 'admin' and password '1234'.
Create a PLDT admin password by going to 192.168.1.1/userconfig_PLDT_admin.htm.
Create your desired admin password for 'adminpldt' username.

This will mostly work on all PLDT myDSL-issued modems like Zyxel, Speedsurf, Kasda, Huawei, and other brands catered by the company. Login credentials will also work on the PLDT Home DSL and Fibr router page.

If you can't access your router using the default IP address (192.168.1.1), follow the steps below to find your router or modem's default IP address.

Go to the command prompt (Windows) or just press Windows + R on your keyboard
Type 'cmd', then type 'ipconfig /all'.
Look at your LAN adapter (Wi-Fi or Ethernet whichever is connected to the PLDT router).
Take note of the 'Default Gateway' numeric IP address, something like 192.168.X.X.
Go to your web browser, input the Default Gateway IP in step no. 4. and hit Enter.
It should take you to the login page, input the PLDT admin password above.

Tip:

In case all of the credentials given above do not work on your PLDT router you can always call the PLDT hotline to ask for assistance regarding your problem.

For Globe broadband users check the list of Globe default admin password to login on your modem/router.

PLDT Home offers variety of internet plans including Fibr, DSL and Ultera. Each plan comes with its own modem/router. To manage and secure your WiFi network efficiently, you must know how to access PLDT modem admin settings page. To have full admin access on the modem settings, you can use the default PLDT admin password and username. You can do many things with PLDT modem admin settings, from changing WiFi password and SSID, MAC filtering to restrict wireless users, setting a firewall, filtering URL, bridging your router, port forwarding, back up and more.

In order to access the PLDT router admin settings, we must know the default gateway or the I.P. address that we will enter to your browser (Google Chrome/Firefox). Usually, 192.168.1.1 is the default gateway of PLDT modems, with exemption for some modem, like Ultera which uses 192.168.15.1 as its default gateway. After you've done entering the default gateway in your browser, you will be landed to the admin login page. In case you've encountered this error "Your connection is not private", just click "Advanced" and select "Proceed to 192.168.1.1 (unsafe)" and you're good to go. Below is the complete list of admin password for PLDT DSL, PLDT Fibr and PLDT Ultera this 2021.

Those are the default PLDT password and username for admin access. There are times that PLDT does system update which can control what settings can appear on the router administrator page or dashboard, so don't expect to have a full admin access or super admin access.

Troubleshooting: If the web GUI is blank, unplug the modem/router for at least 20 seconds then repeat step 1.

Troubleshooting

If you can't access the admin dashboard using the default router IP address (192.168.1.1) follow the procedure below:

1. Open Windows Run Command (command prompt) by pressing Windows key + R on your keyboard.
2. Type 'cmd', then type 'ipconfig /all'.
3. Look for your LAN adapter (Wi-Fi or Ethernet whichever is connected to the PLDT router) and find the DHCP server or default gateway, with numeric IP address, something like 192.168.X.X.
4. Go to your web browser (Google Chrome/Firefox) and enter the Default Gateway IP address.
5. You will be landed to the login page, input the PLDT default password and username to gain access.

In case all of the credentials given above does not work on your PLDT router, you can call PLDT customer service hotline, just dial 171 using your Smart/TNT phone, to ask for assistance regarding your problem.
