New Globme beta0.25

After several months waiting, Globme beta0.25 finally went on line and said hi to everyone. As you can see, globme has new interface and more functions to make our users record their life and their friend's life more completely. We also offer "take a tour" to teach new users how to have fun on globme.Any user can follow four steps to learn how to interact and explore your nextworok here.

Another news is that Globme established "The Hall of Fame" for users to write the latest events on celebrites' profiles. Users can not only follow up what happened to the celebrity they like but also make the celebrity life-record complete as a fan.

We received some constructive feedbacks from our users so far and are planning to enhance services on Globme for our user's goodness. Don't hesitate to give us advices anytime.

Congratulations to Globme!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Globme hasn't had many active activities for a while but we didn't stop researching and developing Glombe to provide better one to users.

Globme's team got approved from "Innovative Technology Applications and Services program 2008" held by Department of Industrial Technology. We were one of six teams chosen from 46 start-up companies. It is a great honor and motivation for us to improve Globme. Now Globme will keep following our schedule to accompliah what we promise ourselve, DOIT and also our users to provide better user-experience.

After the dense time we've fixed the breakdown, it is my pleasure to announce that Globme is Back!!! Now the functions of "some color changed", "the time line in your profile", "the map in your profile"can work as usual. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience we made and wish everyone can enjoy using Globme.

The latest News! Globme broke down

Globme found out one of our servers breaking down, so now some functions in Globme couldn't work well, such as "some color changed", "the time line in your profile", "the map in your profile". We apologize sincerely for the inconvenience we caused, and we are working on fixing the problem. So please be patient for a couple of days, we will give you a complete and good-working Globme back. When we fix the problem, we will make another anouncement to let our users know again.

New function with MAPs

If you have added your event today, you probably would discover a nice feature have been implemented.

This feature is about "MAPs". In the past, you can only drag and drop or double click where event happened. But this is not convenient for switch to different countries. It may take you a lot of time. Now we have a text field. You can type in address and the map can find it quickly. Of course you can use both drag map and type text to find your location.

Globme's Update!! Now you can use your Account and Contacts

Globme revised and updated new functions for beta 0.1. We believe some subtle users already noticed new functions which are Account and Contacts. Globme wants to share new functions with users. Now users can use their own Account (on the top of our website), users can read and also change their "Personal Information" and "Profile Image".

At the same time, Globme also added "Contacts" on users' profile. Users can tell "who are friends of yours" and "who counts you as friend". It provides a clear division of friends for users to know who they forget and should add as friend.

Meanwhile, Globme wants to remind users that only people who you regard as friends can read and write events on your profile and vice versa. So if you find any of your friends who can write your profile and hasn't added you as a friend, hurry up!!You should ask your friend to add you. You know it is always more fun if you and your friends can write each other and complete each other's life.
This is the goal Globme works on and contributes to .

A few days after going beta...

We already received plenty of valueable feedback with lots of suggestions about documentation and enhanced features. Which is more than exciting to the development team 'cause nothing speaks louder than user's need!

We already re-polished our "add friend" interface which should now be much easier to use. We'll work on the friend-finding that many user suggested quite soon.

Right now we have locked down our beta invitations so no more users will be receiving beta invitations from Globme for the moment. But invitations from users are not disabled, just to make sure that if a user really wants somebody to help complete their life, they are allowed to do so.
