Dave comes from a background of education and financial planning, and is the yin to my yang. Without getting too complicated, his role at goldfoot will be that of an account executive.

So if you're interested in engaging with goldfoot, give Dave a call at 415-894-0894.

sf graffiti.

So. I'll just come and say it. I love graffiti.

While the city of San Francisco has launched an all-out war on graffiti artists (which I completely understand), I have to say: as a creative director living in this city, I have gained so much inspiration from what I see on the streets of San Francisco.

No, I'm not a tagger. But living downtown, and having my studio in the Mission district, I see a tremendous amount of spectacular work on my daily walk to work. I also see a whole lot of straight-up, thoughtless vandalism. I can't help but think that the graffiti artists out there who do amazing work, must be as disgusted as I am with the "vandals"...Let me explain.

"Good Graffiti": Thoughtful, funny or amazing art on temporary media such as construction barriers.

"Vandals": Holding a finger on a can of spray paint, and hitting half a city block on beautiful buildings, stone, windows, whatever.

Street artists or vandals? Let me know your thoughts...Take a look at some of my photography of graffiti in San Francisco that caught my eye.

SF Grafitti
