Feminine Waters

Masculine Waters

The two modes of the Divine service are called in the Qabbalah the “masculine waters” and the “feminine waters”. the term “masculine” is used to denote the aspect of giving while the term “feminine” is used to denote the aspect of receiving.

Thus the masculine waters, represent the flow of the Divine benevolence from above downward and the feminine waters, represent the elevation from below. The ascension is often viewed in Qabbalah as the meeting of these two flow .

every story ever told contains a seed of truth. these are the similarities, the areas of oneness. coincidence and repetition are the landmarks on the journey. synchronicity; divinity's humor. learn to wait, wait and learn.

Calcination is the first of seven major operations in the alchemy of transformation.

Psychologically, this is the destruction of ego and our attachments to material possessions. Calcination is usually a natural humbling process as we are gradually assaulted and overcome by the trials and tribulations of life, though it can be a deliberate surrender of our inherent hubris gained through a variety of spiritual disciplines that ignite the fire of introspection and self-evaluation.
