I finally got my hands on Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer. . I got it in shade medium. I wish it was tad more on yellow side rather than beige. I had been dying to try this since last year after watching/reading rave reviews

I love the squeezable tube it comes in, which makes the application easy and sanity .You get a decent size tube and since you only need a teeny tiny amount of product this tube is going to last ages. The formula is thick and on the dry side so i highly recommend moisturized skin before you apply this.

l I take out a teeny tiny amount on the back of my hand and use either synthetic flat brush or fingers to cover the blemishes/imperfection. Before i got that i was using my HG concealer by mac ( mac prolong concealer & studio finish concealer). I usually use concealer to hide some blemish ,spots or redness around my nose or around lips. I hardly use these under my eyes.So i bought Hard Candy Glamoflauge for the same purposes but i was disappointed at the shade. I wish it had more yellow undertone .It will work so much better if that so. I personally feel that this concealer is wee bit too thick for under eye concealing and end result could be cakey also i dont know whats in the ingredient but it made me oily few times. I use sleek makeup Luminaire Highlighting Concealer and i am pretty satisfied with it

Overall a wonderful concealer Only wish they had more shades available. Its a wonderful concealer which gives high coverage , pigmented and stays put for a long long time . Its affordable. But if your skin is mature and on the dry side , i would suggest testing it first.

Maybelline Color Sensational Pop Sticks Rasberry Ice - Review, Swatches, Photos

Not long ago, I started seeing posts about Maybelline Color Sensational Pop Sticks. As usual , i was sucked into the cuteness . But to my horror they were a limited edition line called Shine Sensational Pop Sticks. Usually in Pakistan we don't get LE products if we do then the shade selection is not good enough. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the shades called Maybelline Color Sensational Pop Sticks rasberry ice.

There were four shades

Pink Lollipop clear neon pink,
Raspberry Ice clear medium pink,
Citrus Slice clear neon orange,
Fruit Punch clear red

The packaging is adorable and florescent . It is very similar to the Color Sensational lipstick packaging but with a neon almost florescent touch to the cap. I love the hot pink going on .

pretty no ? When i showed this to my brother , and asked him what it is ? he said "jelly lipstick" . I cant say he was wrong , since they look like beautiful jellies. To be honest when i bought this , i was aware that it wont have much of color payoff and it is what i expected. It has a a balmy texture with a very little tint , the tint may give better payoff of the those who have paler lips but on pigmented lips, it will give you a very minimal color with balmy finish and little shine. It does smell little of a raspberry, which is pleasant scent to me.

Over all a fun product to try , not practical but its a nice /new addition to my lipstick collection

Eid -Ul -Adha is one of the special festivals celebrated by Muslims irrespective of the fact, that wherever a Muslim person is, the festival of Eid -Ul -Adha is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm. This year it is falling on 7th November, 2011.

I dont know if i have any shia readers but i always do a post about eids, new years and anything and everything so this is the time when I wish heartedly congrats to all momineen and mominaat on this blissful occasion.

I hope i will buy few bits this time. I miss shopping in actual shops .

This post is all about some of my mostly used black pencil eyeliners. I have always been into black eyeliners. I love my black eyeliners. I love few more than other for different reasons like color intensity , staying power , ease of re purchasing and price also. Last year i was all about gel liners but i am using eye pencils more often and i thought why not do a little comparison .

I think the photo says it all. The blackest black are the last two from the right which are Milani liquify eye pencil in black &L'Oreal Extra-Intense Liquid Pencil in Carbon Black. They are winners in my opinion , since they glide on so easily, soft , stay super long and they are the darkest among rest of the liners. I cant exactly say the palladio is least pigmented since it is not black (smokey) , but i am interested in trying the black from this range. If you are in Pakistan and cant get hold of any of the above pencils, sweet touch sparking eyepencil in black is your best option.Its really black, smooth and lasts pretty well. Lastly , i dont know if its me or what , but i am kind of bummed with 24/7 pencil in zero. Its certainly not blackest black. I had high hopes for 24/7 zero but you disappointed me.

Its almost winters and weddings are happening everywhere. Its officially the wedding season. I have attended so far 3-4 weddings and 2 more to go. I have been using some of my new makeup items,which i bought recently. So this post is dedicated to the stuff i have been loving and using during The Wedding Season.

Face :

For Face i have been using the pretty much the above photgrpahed products and i have never loved how my face looks. Flawless . I start with my favourite primer of all time

For foundations there is nothing better than these two

Both give medium to full coverage and both last pretty long . I use good old technique to apply them "hands'. To cover any spots or imperfection + undereyes i use

MAC Studio Finish Concealer

Its opaque and lightweight so it doesnt look cakey. I tap my fingers in few times and apply where ever needed. It blends so easily.Last step is to set face with my

Its a perfect light weight powder .

Cheeks

For cheeks i have been into glowy kinda phase. I start with contouring and i use

wholesale-dress.net - website review & haul

a month or two ago , i read a tweet from mehak that she ordred few things from wholesale-dress.net . Out of curiosity , i opened the site and few days later i was placing my first order. The prices were incredible (cheap) and i paid with paypal.

Wholesale-dress.net is an Asian online clothing wholesaler that sells super cheap clothes, shoes and accessories. They accept payment via Credit Card, PayPal and Western Union money transfer.

I was waiting my items to be shipped , it was like after two weeks when i got an email that one of the bags i ordered is out of stock , and i should let them know if i want a replacement or credit transferred into the website account. I replied back with the back i wanted + few other items to adjust the amount. It took ten more days and i got an email that my order was shipped . Guess what ?? They only shipped one bag and other amount was transferred as site credit. WTF . I was angry but asusual my carefree nature took over . My order was trackable as i chose the dpex shipping method and it came in a week. I had to pay a little custom fee.

Will i recommend this site : It depends what are you buying ? I will recommend checking out reviews and ask question about the products . I asked where ever i had to about color, bag straps and even bag sizes. I took my time in ordering. I read not so good reviews on the clothing and the shoes categories but i will suggest you to check out their bags and jewellery items.Shipping is expensive but atleast its reliable and trackable so you can sleep not worrying about customs eating your package. Some of the cons i could think of are that Refunds or exchanges not given for faulty or incorrect items and if you dont mind waiting time long between payment and shipping of orders. Sometimes how a little package makes everything better. I am here again with a haul. When the 3D Holographic colours are seen under lights or sunlight these high impact polishes show the full spectrum of sparkling Holographic colours. It is hard to photograph them but the effect can be seen clearly in the "Copper" "Green" Silver" and "Blue" colours shown below. All the Holographic polishes below show this same rainbow effect. It is truly magical to see.

Glitter Gal's not another red is a strong red holo with rainbow sparkles. It says red but it definitely leans more towards pink .

Tell me you dont love the holo awsomeness ?? I was blown away when i went in the sunlight and started to take the photos. The magic of holo just sucks you in when light hits . The formula of Glitter Gal's not another red is smooth , i only needed two coats on bare nails. But in these photos i am wearing OPI's opi pompeii purple and over that i applied not another red. The formula was thick so i needed one coat over another nail polish. I didn't notice any streak. So overall applying Not another red was delightful.

I have tried some of the lipsticks , i love the revlon's ones so so much. Mac hue was a but of disappointment but i am sure i can make it work. Since i always mix and match my lip products. But its been only few days since i got these so i am looking forward to enjoy them :)

I dream of greenie is part of my recent wet n wild haul. This is the first palette i tried on and it is love at first sight.

What it is:

Coordinating trio shades takes the guesswork out of creating the perfect eye look. The "how to" palettes are created to highlight, define, and accentuate specific eye colors to create unique looks.

The Wet n Wild trios comes with three eyeshadow, which tell you where to place the colors like eyelid, crease ad highlight. . These are perfect to wear alone or all together. But of course you can mix and match as you wish.

Each palette contains 3 colors designed for easy application for browbone, crease, and eyelid.

I dream of greenie consists of

Frosty light seafoam green shimmer
Satin matte mid-tone green with fine gold sparkle

The wet n wild trios come in a small palette with a clear plastic lid . It comes with eyeshadow brushes. They arent the best brushes but they come handy if you need to retouch or traveling.

I have tried eyeshadows from many brands some are high end, some are drugstore but for $2.99 let me just say that no one does it better than wet n wild .The texture of eyeshadow was so buttery soft and smooth . The pigmentation is insane. You get the color on your eyes with one swipe. But some eyeshadow can be less pigmented than the other. They are dream to blend and they stay on for pretty good hours. They are in no way powdery. They are so soft that you are prone of shattering if they call or if you arent careful.

I love my wet n wild eyeshadows and i can not wait to pick some more.

I recently got to try the new Rimmel Vinyl Max Lipgloss. If you havent noticed my blog name has"gloss"in it. There was a time when i swore by lip glosses. I wore them religiously when i was in college and at the work. But couple of years ago lipsticks took over. But Rimmel london was one brand which went to whenever i needed a gloss since at that ime not many brands were available and i liked their glosses. So when i got the rimmel vinyl max lipgloss in 711 in glorious , i was excited. You will soon know what made me excited. Keep reading ;)

Glorious (711): is described as Fresh fun for Hyde Park frisbee. Its a hot pink with gold sparkles.

First thing you will notice about this gloss is its humongous wand. When i say humongous i mean HUGE . The large doe foot application made application made fun for me since i have fuller lips but i maybe inconvenient for someone with thin lips. It was possibly the easiest, quickest application. I will post a comparison photos of wand at the end of this post.

I loved the promo images of the gloss and how there is an embossed crown on top of the packaging.In my opinion packaging is cute and classy. I wish the shade name wasnt written on a label since they tend to rub off and in the end you are left confused that which shade is which.

If you are regular reader of glossicious , you will know that i am a fan of minty flavor/smelling lip products. I dont need any plumping effect but i like the feeling of that. When i first applied the gloss i was pleased because Rimmel Vinyl Max Lip Gloss has slightly minty taste.The plumping formula also leaves a tingly feeling on your lips but not as strong as some of other lip products I've tried ( I am looking at you elf lipprimer/plumper). Most of rimmel glosses i have tried are on the sheer side and it does come up quite sheer too but still it manages to leave some color on the lips. It does have a slight vanilla-ish smell. But nothing too strong.

Over all i like Rimmel Vinyl Max Lip Gloss since My lips looked oh so shiny,sparkly and plump . It's a hot pink with gold sparkles. If you want juicy ,full lips this gloss is for you. The sparkles in this gloss looks lovely when light hits the lips.
