Hi Susan. Whey does come from your yogurt, but you cannot use just whey in the instant pot to make another batch of yogurt. You need to use yogurt to make more yogurt. I hope that answers your question! Blessings! :) ~Dawn, Customer Success Team

Hi Danielle. Yes, you can use fresh milled spelt flour instead of sprouted! You will want to use less liquid and watch everything carefully as you go with it. That's great that you are loving the mill so much!! <3 You can use regular milk instead of raw. Your homemade almond milk should also work, but again watch everything since it will have different properties than the cows milk and may act differently from what the recipe says. Let us know how it goes!! Blessings! :) ~Dawn, Customer Success Team

I too am confused. I make yogurt in my instant pot and it is heated per the yogurt option, then strained in fridge. So the liquid is not whey???

Can I use fresh milled spelt flour instead of sprouted spelt flour?
I recently got a mill and am loving fresh milled!

Also, I don't have access to raw cows milk (sadly--wish I did). I usually make my own almond milk, could I use something like that?

Thanks!
