I traded one correct score match:

Elfsborg v Gefle – 0-0 – 300% loss.

Elfsborg dominated completely, racking up 7 corners and 27 shots but they just couldn’t score. Closest they came was rattling the bar.

At half-time I couldn’t see any chance that the match could end 0-0, such was Elfsborg’s domination. Just goes to show the importance of controlling liabilities and I’m pretty pleased with a 300% loss on a 0-0. Not pleased at all with the score, but with the damage control.

There were strong stats to suggest goals the last two trades, but even 100% stats are never guaranteed. As with the example of Manchester United v Reading in the Correct Score Trading Manual, controlling liabilities is paramount. Stats will always hold up long-term, but there will be some baffling 0-0′s along the way. That’s just how trading is.

There was an in-play profit at Brommapojkarna v Halmstad, but a loss at GAIS v Orebro. Almost a nice profit at Mariehamn v KuPS but a goal was scored a minute too early. Fine margins.

I made 45% LTD profit at MyPa v HJK Helsinki due to the excellent second half stats and it was good to see a few members picking it out too. I haven’t put it on the results sheet as I had not posted it in the chat room, but it put me at about scratch for in-play overall.

A frustrating night, but far from a disaster and we’ll try and put it right tomorrow. I’ll send details of my trades out to members later on tonight.

I traded two correct score matches today:

Jonkoping v IK Brage – 4-0 – 250% profit.

IFK Goteborg v Djurgarden – 0-0 – 290% loss.

£4 loss to £10 stakes, so pretty much level on the day. Just one goal at Goteborg would have made a big difference but it wasn’t to be. It was the first time that Goteborg had failed to score at home this season and the first clean sheet for Djurgarden away. Both teams had a good go at winning the game, there were 12 corners and 34 shots!

In-play, I made 55% LTD profit at Angelholm v Varnamo and a very quick 300% profit at Kalmar v Norrkoping.

A very poor fixture list tomorrow and nothing remotely of interest. There should be some trades on Wednesday and Thursday though, I’ll let members know what I will be getting stuck in to.

The two Norwegian trades which didn’t go in-play would have both been profitable, so that was extremely frustrating.

I traded one correct score match:

Honka v HJK Helsinki – 1-0 – 300% loss.

£30 loss to £10 stake. Decent season stats which suggested goals, but a poor game today. The second half probability was 92% and HJK had scored in every away game so far this season. Still, the scalp lays prevented a bigger loss so I will take the positives from that and move on to the next trade.

I tried two LTD trades in the second half and both ended 0-0. Very much a day to forget.

There were in-play profits at Mito Hollyhock v Gamba Osaka, V-Varen Nagasaki v Tokyo Verdy, Kyoto Sanga v Ehime, Argentino Jrs v Colon and a 300% correct score profit at Cobh Ramblers v Waterford United. Considering the main trade had to be dropped, it was a very good day indeed.

I traded two correct score matches this evening:

Cork City v Drogheda – 1-0 – 210% loss.

Salthill v Finn Harps – 2-1 – There was not enough liquidity in the market at kick-off so the trade had to be dropped. Most of the chat room went in at half-time with a Strategy B trade and with a very late 2-1, there was 700% profit to be had. I have not recorded it on the results sheet.

I ended up with £49 profit to £10 stakes, but I have recorded a £21 loss.

There was a huge first half goal probability in the Shamrock v Limerick game and the home side went 1-0 up on 30′ to bring in an excellent profit.

A good night overall, but a few more goals would have been helpful.

I traded one correct score match:

Jaro v JJK – 3-0 – Scratch.

A JJK goal would have landed a very big profit, but nothing lost. Can’t fault their effort, they were well ahead with the in-play stats. The green on 3-1 was huge… close one!

In-play, there was a loss at TPS v Honka but a bigger LTD profit at MyPa v KuPS followed by a very large late profit with a goal on 90+4′. A very good day in the chat room.

I tried a couple of Bonus Bagging offers in the week. I haven’t bothered with casino/slots offers in the past, but I was watching a movie so did a couple on my laptop at the same time. I made £28 from a casino bonus and £64.41 from a slots offer. The slots was great because I deposited £20 and just used autoplay. Really easy money. If any Bonus Bagging members haven’t tried the casino/slots offers, you’re definitely missing out!

Kitakyushu v Gamba Osaka – 0-1 – 270% loss.

Villarreal v Almeria – 1-0 – 150% loss.

UCD v Bray Wanderers – 4-5 – Scratch

£42 loss to £10 stakes. Not a very good day, but the losses were all controlled. Trading is easy when goals are scored at the right times, but the real challenge is managing losses. I don’t think I could have done much better than I did today, so I have to learn what I can and move on.

Longford v Wexford didn’t go in-play and so the trade had to be dropped. Typically, it ended bang on a target score and that would have eliminated most of the other correct score losses.

In the chat room there were profits at Matsumoto Yamaga v Fagiano Okayama, Vissel Kobe v JEF Utd Chiba and Switzerland v Cyprus.

There are no fixtures I like the look of tomorrow, but the main summer leagues get back into action next week as the international players return to their clubs. I haven’t looked at Monday yet, I’ll let members know if I’ll be trading anything.

Degerfors v Ljungskile – 3-1 – 350% profit – backed before kick-off at 21.00

Jaro v RoPS – 2-1 – 260% profit – backed before kick-off at 10.50

£61 profit to £10 stakes. Very simple trades and impossible not to make a good profit when target scores are hit late on.

I also traded one lay the draw match:

MyPa v JJK – 0-1 – JJK took the lead on 55′ and I traded out with 10% loss. JJK are in terrible form lately and profits elsewhere were plenty good enough to cover such a small red. Amazingly, they hung on for their first win of the season.

In the chat room there were profits at Lugano v Bellinzona, Piast Gliwice v GKS Belchatow, Lahti v TPS, Inter v Honka and Mariehamn v VPS.

A very very profitable day indeed!

Having been through most of the midweek fixtures, I cannot see anything worth trading until next weekend. This is a long international break and apart from Brazilian action (still very early in their season) there are barely any league games being played in leagues which we have an interest in.

After such a massive day, it’s not worth trading for the sake of it and risking good money. I’ll keep in touch with members through the week and I’m sure I will be able to get the Team Statistics Manual update finished.

Very exciting times at Goal Profits and I can’t wait for the international break to end so that there are more league games to get stuck in to!

A very straightforward trade, but a surprise that fairly strong favourites were beaten so comfortably.
