This shows an different perspective about The Seed of The Woman, Versus the Seed of the Serpent. The Spiritual Dangers of Yoga and Meditation - Why Christian Yoga is bad

Let's look at the spiritual dangers of Christian Yoga and meditation. Most every Yoga master and Hindu expert on religion says there is no way to separate the movements of Yoga and the worship of the Hindu Gods. But there is still book after book on Christian Yoga available to purchase.

When a yogi chants he or she is yoking together with millions of other yogis who are all trying to link to the Hindu God. Christians should know since there is no other God the only real option for yogis yoking is a Demon. (2 Cor 6:14-18): 14 Do not be mismatched with unbelievers. For what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness? Or what fellowship is there between light and darkness? 15 What agreement does Christ have with Beliar? Or what does a believer share with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement has the temple of God with idols?

For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, "I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Therefore come out from them, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch nothing unclean; then I will welcome you, 18 and I will be your father, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." Beliar is a Demon.

It is likely in my study and opinion that The reference to temples and idols suggests that Paul is still addressing the Corinthians' tendency to try to blend the worship of God with the activities that went on the pagan temples. In other words, the people wanted to be Christian while still partaking of all the activities that marked the worship of the Greek gods. Could this be Yoga as well? I believe so, this passage is in the context of living a God like life. Not about friends or marrying outside of the Church.

In Proverbs chapter 9; starting in verse 10 the Holy Spirit is trying to tell us something very important. I have heard some say they take these passages in an allegorical way that pits wisdom against the folly of foolish men. But is this really an allegorical story? Proverbs chapter 8 is a book of wisdom and the value of it. What is this building up to? Now; let’s look at Proverbs chapter 10 the very first verse says:

1 The proverbs of Solomon:
A wise son brings joy to his father,
but a foolish son grief to his mother.

This sounds like good, practical, real advice, which many of the Proverbs are. I take this passage of scripture in Proverbs 9:10-18 to be literal and warning of serious spiritual problems. And it is correct (in my opinion) that the wise man would steer clear of this. If you have been through a spouse cheating on you, you will understand exactly my next points. There is more than one Bible verse that hints at adultery being a pretty serious sin since it is a sin against the body as well. How could it be a sin? It is a sin because you are tapping into the realm of evil spirits and actually joining yourself with evil spirits under certain conditions.

Let’s look at verse 18. We are using the translation at tldm. And he did not know that giants are there, and that her guests are in the depths of hell. The King James Version translates this as ‘But he knoweth not that the dead are there; and that her guests are in the depths of hell:”

Sounds a little weird doesn’t it? The dead are there, or the giants are there? The giants that I believe the Holy Spirit is trying to tell us about are the Nephilim from Genesis chapter 6: starting around verse 4: 3And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

Genesis 6:4 4There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.

5And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Here are a couple of verses that we brush over pretty easy. Who were these mighty men? They were giants; the offspring of fallen angels and earth women. Notice that in the very next verse that God decides to destroy the Earth. That was not because of noble man. It’s because God has a DNA problem on his hands as these giants were cannibalistic and they were quickly destroying all of God’s creation.

Thanks for listening. I have been podcasting since 2007 and have had in excess of ¼ million podcast downloads. While I was in the process of learning and studying for my sometimes daily podcasts I would keep learning new things, which is the goal of a study I would assume.

It wouldn’t take long to learn a couple of the biggest conspiracies in the Christian religion today. A few of those are:

The myth of Eternal Punishment in Hell is one of the biggest conspiracies and preys on our fears to get us to make a decision to join the Church. How many of you out there can honestly raise their hand to say that the fear of eternal punishment in Hell didn’t have any factor in you becoming a Christian?

And the Greek word Ekklesia which I will be talking about next week. We get the word Church from the Greek word Ekklesia. I will give you a little spoiler for next week. The Greek word Ekklesia really means assembly, or congregation. So basically Jesus sets us free with the Gospel; then we throw shackles around believers to make religion fit our needs. Funny isn’t it? OK, not really.

Here is the deal; and I will admit that I get frustrated with how many Institutional Church’s handle the good news of Jesus Christ. It is really simple enough for a six year old to explain to you. Speaking of that; here is my daughter when she was six explaining the Gospel. She is reading from John 3:16 and 17.

Why was Heaven so Happy? Take two - An angel told Mary that she had conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit (Luke 1:26-38), and an angel told Joseph not to be afraid to marry her (Matthew 1:18-25). Angels rejoiced and praised God when Jesus was born. Angels came and ministered to Jesus when his temptations in the wilderness concluded (Matthew 4:11). When Jesus prayed with such intensity in the Garden of Gethsemane that he sweated as though he were bleeding, an angel came and strengthened him (Luke 22:43). An angel rolled the stone away from Jesus' tomb when he was resurrected, and told the women who made their early morning visit to the tomb, that Jesus was not there, that he had arisen (Matthew 28:1-7). Immediately after Jesus ascended back into heaven, heavenly messengers promised Jesus' disciples that Jesus would return in the same manner that he left (Acts 1:10, 11).

If you want to know the reality of your guilt, ask Satan. If you want to know the proper consequences for the evil in your life, ask Satan. You are not right before God because you have not sinned. You are right before God because God destroys your sin. He forgives you. He justifies you. If God has washed your sins away with baptism, stop worrying about guilt. Turn loose of it. Unity God Can Handle Our Differences - Our Christian conscience differences do not trouble God. God in Jesus Christ reveals such differences will not prevent Him from saving us. Those differences trouble us. God can handle our differences and make all of us stand. We are the ones who cannot handle differences.

Unity A Divine Or Human Accomplishment - Even though Jewish and gentile believers did not comprehend all that God did in Jesus Christ, God still did it. We conclude by reading two statements from Paul.

To the Roman Christians, Paul wrote:
For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, each of us is to exercise them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion of his faith; if service, in his serving; or he who teaches, in his teaching; or he who exhorts, in his exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness. (Romans 12:4-8)

To the Corinthian Christians, Paul wrote:
For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ. For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. Over the course of these pages we’ve examined the failure of contemporary Christianity to bring believers into a vital relationship with the Living God. Our wealth and influence only pretend to mask emptiness that leaves many brutalized by our systems, and still others disillusioned by God. I have no doubt that we are as naked as the Laodicean church in Revelation. I am not alone in saying that, for many voices in recent decades have pointed out the deficiencies of our systems and the pain they inflict on many.

Though the terms I’ve used have been clearly distinguishable hues of black and white, I’ve done so only to make the grays more visible. The shades of compromise are the most deceptive.

My purpose in exposing the church’s nakedness is not to breed cynics who jeer from the sidelines, but to show us how we have been willingly duped because of our own vested interest. We can all find ways to fit our own desires into religious forms, giving us the illusion of safety, but not its reality. For us to admit such nakedness risks all that we enjoy about it, and also the accusations of friends and family that we are critical or bitter. Certainly it would be easier to stay silent and make the best of the status quo.

Not only can God make it here, but it’s the only place he does make it. He is not afraid to meet people in the real world, where every battle is not won, where people hurt and die, where all don’t repent and are saved. He’s not afraid of hospital rooms and screams of anger by people who misunderstand his love. He knows better than we that everything in this age will not end in temporal joy, and that rarely are the righteous rewarded in the world.

He is not a God who can be real only in stained-glass hues on velvet pews. If that’s the only place we’re finding him, then we’re not finding the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. What we’re finding may be an aesthetic feeling or a surge of compassion, but not the God of the universe filling our lives with the reality of his presence.

God only stays in a church building if that’s where we leave him, and that’s where many people prefer to have him. He’s there when we need him, but he won’t meddle in my business,
my family, or my recreational time. But this is written for those to whom God’s presence is good news—those who want to know him more fully, not less so.

Whether or not people liked Jesus or agreed with him, the thing that most impressed them was his sense of authority. Even his enemies marveled at the power that flowed from his life. And that is an amazing statement about a man who had no wealth, political clout, or wide following. Jesus drew his authority from a far deeper well.

People saw it in the synagogues where he taught simple lessons: “They were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority” (Matthew 7:28,29). They saw it when he cast out evil spirits with just a word. The people wondered, “What is this? A new teaching—and with authority! He even gives orders to evil spirits and they obey him” (Mark 1:27).

They saw it when he rebuked the violent storm on the Sea of Galilee and immediately it grew calm. “What kind of man is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!” (Matthew 8:27).

Jesus had authority where it counted. It didn’t reside in his mannerisms, volume, or charisma, but in this simple fact: What he said and what he did made a difference.

Just knowing Jesus, however, wasn’t the only thing for which Paul hungered. That is the nature of his kingdom, and nothing destroys the reality of intimacy for God’s people more than those who claim to be leaders in his church and by whatever means insert their lives between the flock and the shepherd. As we shall see, leadership in the New Testament never takes that place. They do not represent Jesus in his absence, but only hold value as they equip other people to know the living God themselves. “There shall be one flock and one shepherd,” Jesus stated in John 10. What do we see when we look at the so-called church today—thousands upon thousands of flocks and thousands upon thousands of shepherds? Do you see the connection? Many shepherds leads to many flocks. Human leaders almost always divide the flock by their own expectations, programs, and traditions.Only when we recognize that he alone is the true shepherd will the flock be able to live out the unity he gives it. We have no king but Jesus, and in these days he is calling his flock back to himself, away from the regimentation and exploitations of human leadership, so that he can truly have first place in every heart who seeks him.

For many years, I believed in the traditional view of Heaven and Hell—that souls are taken from the body immediately following death and are placed in either Heaven or Hell where they will spend eternity in bliss or unending torture. This is what most of the Christian church right now believes. For the last six or seven years, however, I have found countless scriptures that have changed my thinking considerably in this area. Are There Real Answers For Aloneness - Why is it the law of Christ that we bear each other's burdens? Why? Because Jesus bears your burdens. He bore our burdens on the cross. Our sins were placed on his body as he died (1 Peter 2:24). He bore our burdens when we were baptized. When in faith and repentance we were baptized, Jesus destroyed every sin we had committed by removing all those sins with his own blood (Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:7). Knowing what God wants me to be is simpler than understanding what God wants me to do. Know what God wants the church to be is simpler than understanding what God wants the church to do. It is easy to come to the conclusion that God's greatest concern or God's only concern is what God wants us to be. Christianity and Relationships Part Two - Nowhere is the destructiveness of selfishness more evident than in family relationships. At its worse, selfishness abuses the people the selfish person should love. He or she is so in love with self he or she cannot care about anyone else. Children are not seen as helpless extensions of us, but as rivals to me. Everything given to a spouse or to a child is something that deprives me. Thus, spouse and children in my family exist to be my servants, to make me happy, to serve my purposes. As long as my family makes me happy, every thing is as it should be. Looking Past The Old to See The New - Until we understand that God's accomplishments and provisions for us in Christ are distinctly different to what God did for Israel through law, we will never become what God wants us to be. Israel never had the opportunity to have what every Christian has in Jesus Christ. The most devout Israelite would swap places spiritually with any Christian in a heart beat. It is not a superior or improved law that would make them want to swap places. They would swap places with us because the relationship we have with God did not even exist for them. God Makes Everything New - God sent Jesus to be our Savior, He was not fixing the Old Testament law or Judaism. The Old Testament system, which came from God, did not need fixing, or adjusting, or improving, or restructuring, or amending. If we have developed the idea that God did not do it right the first time with Israel so He corrected it with Jesus Christ, we need a better understanding of Jesus Christ. If that is a new thought to you as a Christian, or if that is something that you already understand, I want us to allow the Bible to reveal to us the meaning of that understanding. Worship Do You Know It When You Do It - This world pounds on each of us every day. Evil is constantly looking for ways to invade our lives, to create guilt, and to cause us pain and suffering. Everything in our lives is under attack. If it is just me against the world, me will lose. We do not worship an arrogant God who has to have His ego stroked. Worship is for our personal benefit. It is to strengthen and renew us. When we personally do not worship when we come together, we are the loser, not God. Bible Study at God's Message
