Up top is the visual companion to Clef's "Bang Bang Bang", a story of the violent reality that plagues the streets of Chicago, and many other places in the world. Tim Westwood from across the pond liberated some vintage footage circa 2005 of a Ye freestyle over all the his own beats you wish he rapped over, Game's "Dream", Jay's "Encore" and Common's "Corners".
For this week's #FlowrFridays offering, Roman unleashes one of the last sample inspired instrumentals he put together featuring a sample pulled from Jean Deaux's "Escape", off her upcoming "Soular System" project. Roman is currently focusing on making beats from scratch, but he certainly has a talent for making any audio recording shine in his own way. Being one of my favorite up and coming Chicago producers, I recommend all those aspiring rappers out there to reach out to young Flowrs for those instrumentals while you can afford them. Of course Roman is a very talented emcee as well and we are still looking forward to his "#OneHellOfAPromo" project dropping later this summer. Until then be on the lookout for more weekly offerings each Friday.
Bo Deal exposes all his secrets in his prequel to an upcoming album. Well, the answer to that is... we'll just have to wait and see. Until then, hit the jump and enjoy the skeletons.
A behind the scenes look into the life of the man, the myth, Chicago's Add-2. If the first 20 seconds don't keep you watching, I advise you take a ride with Add-2 and learn about his family, his life, and his music. Rappers are real people too. This is a dope documentary. Download Add-2's "More Missed Calls" if you have yet to do that.

Psalm One x Panik - Queen Until (Official Music Video)

The Molemen's Panik is creating a solo project featuring exclusive production from him and verses from a variety of talented emcees. In his first offering, he links with Chicago's own Psalm One aka Hologram Kizzie, the First Lady of Rhymesayers, and self proclaimed Queen... until the world ends.
St. Millie is currently busy working on his sophomore follow up to last year's very successful "No Religion But Up". In his latest Von Vuai produced track, Millie simply gives no f*cks about the people that aren't messing with him and his movement. In addition to the dirty version below, Millie also provides a clean version on his Soundcloud. Looks like someone is shooting for a little radio play with this one!
Either way, eGo gets in the zone over this Fortified Sounds produced single.

Cap1 - Mind Ova Bizness (Official Music Video)

With this allstar collaboration, it's only right that it finds a home on both VIRU's "Mr. Late Night" and Blanco's "White America". Both emcees are joined by TalentedAsKB over an aggressive production that RMB Justize has become known for. Neither VIRU, nor Blanco's tape has a release date yet, but keep an eye out, they've been leaking for a minute.

"For the Record" is a track that describes the EXPEDITION to the Riche$ and the dedication one should have when on it.

In the latest edition of Heart of the City TV's "In The Lab" series, they hit up Soundscape Studios to sit in on the recording of Giftz "Nino" remix. Last year's release with Giftz and Tree was super slept on, but with the whole Save Money crew jumping on the remix, the single may just get the attention it deserves. Not sure if we will see this of Giftz' upcoming "Position of Power" later this summer, or if we can expect it sooner. Hopefully sooner...

Impolite Society - Player Sh*t (Prod.
